Emeishan Hotels with Gym

Booked for the hot springs which were great, very spacious and relaxing environment. Small indoor swimming pool but also a nice temperature for a relaxing swim. Good choice for buffet breakfast. Unfortunately the hotel does not cater for solo travellers eating dinner because food can only be ordered in large portions via an app catering for two or more people. Also a shame there is a robot and no human interaction if you want a coffee. The people working there are very friendly and helpful, robots are not! Easy access on foot to Exiu Lake and a short distance further to the mountain entrance.

We arrived late to a very warm welcome. Reception staff spoke excellent English and gave us helpful sightseeing advice before showing us to our room. Room was very quiet and clean. Beds are definitely on the firm side. Overall, we enjoyed our stay

There is room for improvements for pre-arrival communications with guests in English. The cake i received for my birthday is not nice, i would prefer to have a slice of good quality cake than a small cake which taste poor. Breakfast has met my expectations, wide in variety and good in taste, i especially liked the black stir fry noodles with vegetables. Egg station chef skills has to improve though - i didn’t like the taste of my customised scrambled eggs. Love the variety of drinks selections - especially the grape juice! Housekeeping forgot to put bath salts and one time use bathtub cover in our room.

The hotel is in a good location, at the entrance of Mount Emei, with few commercial facilities around, about a 20-minute walk. The hotel covers a large area, an old state guesthouse, old room facilities, ok hygiene, friendly service staff, hot springs, but I personally feel that the sanitary facilities are relatively poor. The hotel's outdoor environment is great, the scenery is beautiful, and it is suitable for leisure and vacation.

The room is very clean and has a living room. It is quite spacious and suitable for bringing children. After climbing the mountain, the children played Lego in the living room. The hotel has a pick-up service, so you don't have to worry about it. The hot spring is indoors, so you don't have to worry about the children catching a cold. It's good. The dolls are very happy. I will choose it next time. It is suitable for the whole family to play together

The hotel is located close to the Emeishan Railway Station and Baoguoshi Tourist Service Area, where you can board the bus to go to Leidongping to take cable car up to the Golden Summit. There are restaurants nearby, but most of them serve local fares. The room is spacious and clean.

This is a hotel a bit out of the famous travel attraction. If you like peaceful without a lot of tourist this is a great choice. 1 negative point they mentioned the breakfast serve until 9 am. When we get down by 9 am everything is kept and clean.

This stay was really great! When I walked into the room, the first feeling was that the hygiene was impeccable, and every corner was clean and tidy, which made people feel at ease. Lengzhu's service was particularly good. When I rested at night, the sound insulation of the room was excellent, and the noise outside was almost completely inaudible. I slept until dawn and slept soundly. The hotel's breakfast variety was richer than I could imagine, with all kinds of Chinese and Western food, and the taste was particularly good, easily satisfying all kinds of taste needs. There is also a shower room, which is very comfortable to use. The water flow is moderate, the water temperature is stable, the water flow from the nozzle is uniform, and the whole shower process is very pleasant. The hotel has done so much care in these details, which really brought too many surprises to this stay, and it must be praised! I will definitely choose this place for future travel.

Emeishan Hongzhushan Hotel is located at the foot of Mount Emei, a world natural and cultural heritage, less than 200 meters away from the famous temple ”Baoguo Temple”. In Sichuan Province, it is the only two state guesthouses that are on par with Chengdu Jinniu Hotel. After the founding of New China, Hongzhushan Hotel is full of red genes and has repeatedly undertaken the reception and support tasks of party and state leaders. Building 3 is affectionately called the ”Marshal Building” and has successively received many founding marshals such as Zhu De, Peng Dehuai, and Chen Yi; and Building 2 ”Xiaoping Building” was stayed by Comrade Deng Xiaoping twice in 1965 and 1980. Building 1 provided life support services for Chairman Mao Zedong in 2010. The Zen Mountain Residence in Building 7 where we stayed fully embodies the ”people-oriented” service concept: the service staff are humble and polite. The men are handsome and the ladies are pretty. The guest rooms are spacious, elegant and comfortable. The whole room is fully lit, with floor-to-ceiling windows, separating wet and dry areas, and separating movement and stillness. The balcony goes deep into the forest, forming the ultimate of borrowing scenery into the room, the room is in the scenery, the scenery follows the people, and the people are in the painting. Mr. Jin Yong praised it as: every window is a landscape painting. The hot spring is brought into the room, so that every guest can enjoy the best ”radon” hot springs in Mount Emei without leaving the house. The breakfast dishes are rich, combining Chinese and Western styles, and are carefully made. There are also local snacks and intangible cultural heritage of Mount Emei, such as Kabing, tofu brain, Bobo chicken, tangerine peel beef, etc., which are enough to satisfy the appetite of every diner. In the morning and evening, you can see the lake and mountains when you walk in it. Birds and flowers are singing all the way, and the jungle is singing softly. Breathe the fresh air full of hydrogen ions, feel the moisture of the lake and the caress of the forest wind. “I am swimming in the painting, the painting is walking in the scenery, the scenery has entered my eyes, and I am also in the painting.” At that moment, nature and man are one, and I forget myself and the world.

Many thanks and praises to Ms. Fanny, the front desk lady who checked us in. She followed all the standardized procedure and dialogue, showing that she was properly trained and was very mindful of her tasks. Despite not speaking much English, she was very helpful and informative as she went so far as to use an electronic translator from her phone to describe everything in details for me and answer all of my questions. Above all, her manner and facial expression were very well trained as she never once showed a sign of frustration when I asked her many questions and she smiled all the time, a phenomenon that I hardly experience or see in China (as most local staff usually have cold or indifferent facial expressions and do not seem to be too active in receiving guests). The hotel itself is decent enough, with a few warm pools as the highlight that let us wind down after a tiring day. Breakfast was abundant and delicious at this price range. I would stay here again if I returned to Emeishan.
