Spend omly 20 seconds checking in. Hotel is old but clean and easy access to JR station. Highly recommended for business traveller either to Osaka or Kyoto.

Stayed here as a couple. It felt like an old-fashioned hotel.

The location is convenient right in front of Ibaraki Station. The facilities in the room are a little old, but it's great that you can open the window. There is a train passing through Ibaraki in the view, and there is also the townscape of Ibaraki. The windows are soundproofed, so you can't hear any train noise outside when you close them, which is great. The premises are entirely non-smoking. To smoke, leave the lobby and a smoking area is set up outside. It is a good place to stay for taking exams at the Ritsumeikan Ibaraki Campus.

The hotel is in a good location, very close to the station, and the room is relatively small. Service is pretty good

The problem is that you can hear train noise and the room is small. The room is also small compared to the price.
