Stayed here for the Huangshan trip. There is a shuttle service to Namdaemun bus station and there are restaurants nearby for dinner, which is very convenient. We stayed 4 days. The room was cleaned every day and toothbrushes, bathrobes and slippers were replaced. Although the breakfast was good, the menu was the same every day, it would be better if there was some variety.

After booking a room online, the exclusive butler took the initiative to contact me and patiently answered various questions, such as shuttle arrangements, travel guides, scenic weather, and suggestions for climbing clothes. The butler service is very considerate, which makes me feel at ease as a first-time visitor to Huangshan.
The room is spacious and clean, and the sound insulation effect is also good. I saw a guest mentioned on the Internet that the sound insulation of the windows of the king-size bed room was not very good, and I was still worried. The butler said that the hotel had upgraded the windows, and I found that there was indeed no problem after moving in. The hotel is very close to the scenic bus station, and there is a special shuttle bus, which is very convenient for travel.
The service attitude of the butler and the front desk is also very good, and they always smile. This stay experience is very pleasant. I have recommended it to my friends. Next time I come to Huangshan, I will choose this hotel again!

It was an unplanned stay, we were tired from the hiking we decided to stay one more night before going back. We picked this hotel because it was near a lamian shop, easy for us to get halal food. Did not expect much but it turned out pretty good. The hotel was nice and helpful, she help me ordered deliveries and had them sent to our room. The room was spacious and clean with electric blanket to keep us warm and cozy. The windows looking out to the shoplots, in the morning we can see hikers getting ready to go to the bus transfer station, shopkeepers dishing out breakfast, it was hectic but fun to look at. The laundry room was hard to find but the good thing is both washer and dryer worked fine, they also got drying area on the balcony. Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

I took my parents to Huangshan and chose this hotel. We upgraded to a lake view room with a balcony. The elderly were very satisfied. The scenery outside the window was nice. We had a lot of luggage, and the front desk was responsive and helped us with the luggage. The restaurant deserves praise. The stinky mandarin fish, tofu, braised pork, and dried bamboo shoots were all good. We had all three meals in the hotel. The hotel park has a nice view and is very photogenic. It is 2 kilometers away from Xixi South

The overall service of this stay was good. I didn't want to comment on some details, but I was a little disappointed with the shower in the morning. The shower water was hot and cold in the morning, which caused a headache in the afternoon on the mountain. It might be that I caught a cold after taking a shower in the morning. First of all, the quilt cover was already torn like this but was still in use. At first, I saw a few small holes in the sheets but didn't say anything or take pictures. Later, I found that there were cigarette ashes in the bathroom. The room that just checked in was the last batch of guests. You should collect the unused rolls of toilet paper if you don't want to throw them away. At least give us a whole roll. The attitude of the front desk staff who checked in the night before was very good, but the attitude of the staff who checked out in the morning was not so good. I told her that my room card was not in the pocket in the room, but she asked the waiter to find it. She said you can go up and find it yourself and her face was on the face. Later, it was in my pocket and the phone were combined. Except for this employee, the attitudes of other employees were very good.

What a beautiful place it is! ⛰️✨ Staffs were friendly and energetic. Huangshan’s atmosphere and people gave me the feeling of hometown vibes. The hotel is located at the South gate of Huangshan mountain, just the perfect spot. The staff explained us with great information about the route of Mount Huangshan, even provide us necessary stuffs like, hiking stick, map and raincoat (just in case it’s raining). Hotel first floor is a restaurant, and top floor is kinda like a bar and you can even go upstairs to the roof deck. (Which you could see sun rise, sunset there!) But what we saw was moon rise. 🤭 Because the hotel was located outside the city so public transportation was quite limited. Anyway, the hotel was very good for reaching out and help us with our next destination! Appreciate very much! Hope to visit again soon! ❤️❤️

I have to say that this hotel surprised me so much! There are RVs and tennis courts! There are also various entertainment facilities such as outdoor barbecue.
The room is full of French retro style, classical furniture, exquisite decoration, as if in a foreign country.
The view outside the window is wide, you can see the tea fields and hills, and the overall environment of the hotel is quiet and comfortable. The evening rest is quiet and comfortable, and the sound insulation effect is first-class. The fog the next morning made people feel like they were in a fairyland, dotted with the lights of the hotel windows, and could hear the dog barking next door, as if they had entered Tao Yuanming's poem.
The parking lot is large, free parking is very convenient, the staff's service is impeccable, thoughtful and enthusiastic, next time you come to Huangshan, you will still live here!

Check in service was great upon arriving. They will give a large printed map and advise the route to take according to your preference. They added us on WeChat to update on all services available and sunrise info. Room was clean and signage saying tap water is portable from Huangshan spring. Boba tea's tapioca balls were powdery. Resources are difficult to carry up so maybe they served us overnight pearls. Food was not cheap but understandable. Breakfast was good with the traditional buns and soy bean drink etc. There is a walkway connected to the main building from the 2nd floor of blk B. Sunrise location changed to about 40min walk (one way) in Dec so it was steps and steps again on the second day morning but it's all worth it. Best communication from the helpful staff (in Chinese)

Great experience. Friendly, prepared for the snow/cold by lending me a warm jacket, great location to wake up early and see sunrise. I booked for 2 nights but the weather caused many activities to be closed so I checked out 1 day early and requested a refund for the day I didn’t stay (by messaging with a representative on Trip.com, they initiated the request and I made sure the hotel was aware so they could approve). The only thing I would ask to change is that the smoking smell from the hallway creeped into the room (I requested a none smoking room). Maybe have 1 floor or a section of the floor non-smoking but I understand it is culture to smoke. Even though the weather prevented me from seeing a clear sky sunrise, it was worth staying at the top for 1 night so I didn’t have to carry much as I explored, being able to borrow a jacket to stay warm and rest between walks at the hotel.

Environment: Surrounded by mountains and rivers, although on the side of the road, sleeping is particularly quiet and not noisy at all.
Service: The boss's service is very good, free pick-up and drop-off scenic spot to change to station, free to the town, enthusiastically explain the Huangshan tour route and make suggestions, under the boss's suggestion, we successfully staggered the scenic spot, thank you very much.

Prior to stay, the staff are very prompt in helpful Q and A. Services are exceedingly good, excellent and accomodating. All staff are friendly, approachable, and careful to details. Sharing local culture and history, and place of interest. Outstanding concierge service.
Our stay include Tea appreciation, sumptuous dinner (2 choices), and hearty breakfast (2 choices). We were given complimentary drinks at bar, and alternative dishes to met dietary requirement. Very useful that hotel provide Hotel-Train station transfer. service, and other short distance ride to Huangshan hiking entrance (saved a lot of time).
Staff helped us booked our Cableway tickets which saved us time to queue for tickets and avoid buying wrong tickets.
Very spacious open concept, clean and modern room and furnishings like king size bed, large Sofa, round Table TV. Balcony with lush tranquillity view of nature full of mountainous greenery and waterfall. Sound of nature (cicada) and fortunately room comes with good sound proofing sliding door.
Bath tub, shower area, and WC with build in sensor and biget spray. Standard Amenities are provided. Electric source is China 2-pin 3-pin plug standard and USB.
Hotel is located within the Huangshan park (?). Saving us time in getting clearance at Park security office as the Driver brought us through the security checks with ease. We felt like VIP.
Hotel is a short drive away to nearest cableway (called ‘hot spring’ cableway etc.). Do bring rain coat as weather up in the mountain is unpredictable. It rained when we reached up at ‘Yuping’ cableway. Hotel staff offered us rain coat.
We have a skilful driver to transport us safely form our Hotel-Train station transfer.

XXifengThis is the best, reasonably priced hotel on the mountain. The service was excellent especially when we arrived and asked for double bed not two singles, they provided water while we waited 15mins. The dinner and breakfast had a lot of choices, it was tasty and so we would recommend booking with both dinner and breakfast included. Building A is the one to book if you can, building B is a 5 minute walk downhill. The rooms are tired but comfortable and they provide a foot bath to soak your tired legs and down jackets to wear to view sunrise and sunset. It is close to the highest point on the mountain so there is a lot of walking uphill to get there, but the position is the good for the other walks. Special thanks to 书琳 for making us feel very welcome.

GGregMII chose the 0517 hotel after reading great reviews, and they were not wrong! Starting with the simple things, the location is so convenient being in the part of town nearest the park’s south entrance. You can walk there in ~15 minutes, passing several options for a street food breakfast along the way. There is also a good selection of restaurants for dinner, and a very nice bakery to pick up snacks for the day. The long distance buses arrive at a bus station a few km away, but the hotel will arrange the pickup for you, free of charge.
The hotel’s design in the rooms and shared spaces is very modern & clean, in a style appreciated by westerners. The rooms are on the small side, but have everything you need.
Leaving the best point until last – the highlight here is the customer service provided by the owner Timo and his staff. 11/10! Nothing is too much trouble, they will help you with everything from trip planning, to organizing local shared taxi to surrounding areas, to storing luggage, or whatever. On both the nights there, I had a long, friendly chat with him and a couple of others over a drink in the evening. Felt more like being his personal guest than being in a hotel. HIGHLY recommended!

The owner raises stream fish, and if you stay there, you can ask the owner to braise the stream fish, and the white thick soup will be delicious. The wild fruit tofu is also very delicious, and I basically finished the whole plate. At the end, the owner also gave us a big pumpkin (originally my mother wanted to buy one), and arranged for us to park the car at the foot of Huangshan, saving us money.

Unlike most hotels within the village, this hotel has conserved the architecture of the exterior and interior of the over 300 years old structure. It is well maintained with modern amenities and a nice manicured garden filled with bonsai plants. The Chinese breakfast was simple and nice. The menu has a good range of beverages and the food was good at reasonable prices.
The room we stayed was small but cozy. It is within the main building and just outside the room there is a reading lounge. It was quiet and hardly used while we were there.

GGuest UserMy family and I (5 of us) recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay in Hongcun for two days and one night, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The building, steeped in history at 400 years old, is located relatively close to the West entrance, making access a breeze. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-kept. Although I initially booked three specific rooms, they were unavailable due to renovation. However, I was provided with three other rooms that turned out to be more spacious, which was a delightful surprise.
The lobby felt incredibly welcoming, with a cozy living-room-style atmosphere. There’s a lovely café to the left and a souvenir shop to the right, adding a nice touch of convenience and charm as you walk toward the living area. Wan Jie (elder sister Wan), the host, was truly hospitable and attentive. Her warmth shone through from our first phone call, which she answered cheerfully while helping arrange our pickup, as cars aren’t allowed into Hongcun, a UNESCO Heritage Site.
One of the highlights of this homestay was the restaurant nestled in a ”secret” garden—a serene and picturesque spot where my family and I could have happily spent more time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, adding to the overall experience. Though it was too cool to use during my visit, the homestay also features a pool that would be perfect for summer days.
At the end of our stay, Wan Jie went above and beyond by accompanying us to the village exit to wait for our driver, ensuring everything went smoothly before saying her goodbyes. It’s rare to experience such personalized hospitality, and it made a memorable impression on us.
Based on my positive experience, I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hongcun. It’s a unique blend of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality that truly enhances the visit.

VValeriaMIf you are planning to visit Yellow Mountains (Huangshan) Shanshui Boutique hotel is conveniently located as it is just 25 min drive (by taxi) from high speed train station, also easy travel to the Yungpu cable car (about 45-60min) to access the Mountains, and less than 40 min to get to Xidi ancient vilage. The architecture is a must, you can appreciate the old facade mingled with the new avant garde design that faces the river and the swimming pool. It also has plenty spaces designed to relax while drinking some tea, coffee, etc as well as a playground -we always thank when traveling with small kids-. It also has a spacious library room where you can relax reading a book, playing cards or just having a cup of coffee. The swimming pool is also key attraction specially if you are lucky with weather. Breakfast is buffet with a very good mixture of Chinese and western options available.
The hotel is situated conveniently near the promenade adjacent the river, cobbled stoned shopping street and Tunxi old street. But the best of all for us was Jerry, he personally guided us to visit some village nearby and also help with the Mountain tour suggestions. The staff also help us with some suggestions to eat local food nearby. So we definitely recommend staying in this beautifully designed hotel with friendly staff and service in English and Chinese.
