The lady at the front desk was very kind; she helped me with my luggage the day before check-in and handled my subsequent stay. I even received a small gift when I left, which was a nice touch. The hotel offers free crutches, and there were complimentary welcome fruits in the room. The front desk also upgraded my room to Building 2. However, Building 2 had a few issues that I feel significantly impacted my stay: 1. The elevator is all glass and has no air conditioning. It was around 20 degrees Celsius and sunny when I checked in, and the elevator was already stifling hot. 2. From the bed, you can see the bathroom mirror reflected in the full-length mirror on the wall. I don't think this design is very thoughtful. 3. At night, the water heater indicator light flashes and changes brightness. Since the bathroom and bed are separated by frosted glass, light seeps through, which slightly disturbed my sleep. 4. The decor style in Building 2 feels quite outdated, and the lighting cannot be controlled independently; you can only switch between a few modes. This was the most unacceptable point for me. 5. The air conditioner is a wall-mounted unit. Even when set to the lowest fan speed and 28 degrees Celsius, the area near the bed was still very cold, and the air blew directly on me. I can't say the hotel is bad, but I really didn't like this particular room. I was too tired after hiking to bother changing rooms. I will definitely visit Huangshan again, but I won't be staying at this hotel.

I chose the Emerald Resort for a business trip this time. It was very good! Beautiful environment, efficient service, clean and hygienic, comfortable bedding, convenient parking, unique decoration, Hui style, adjacent to the Emerald Valley Scenic Area. I felt very comfortable staying here. Emerald Resort is a must-choose place for my family to visit Huangshan next time.
