This hostel is conveniently located for walking route of the cable car route - just around the middle to both. Foreginers can easily check in. The lady communicates in english. There are eateries nearby. Remember, this is a hostel, and not a hotel. For a hostel, this is a good choice to stay especially if you wish to hike Huashan.

The store is very nice, and told the address very thoughtfully, and also gave fruit and mountaineering gloves when checking in, and also introduced the situation of climbing Huashan. The place where I live is a few minutes walk from the entrance of Yuquanyuan, which is very convenient. Stay overnight and go out to climb the mountain in the morning, and you can store your luggage until you go down the mountain at night. The boss and the proprietress are very nice, don't hesitate!

GGuest UserThank you Trip.com for traveling. Meijia Hotel is in a prime location. The first choice for winter tours in Huashan. The boss is generous and enthusiastic. Very moral and credit. The room was very warm. There is hot water. very hot. The boss also lent me a hair dryer.

the family running it are helpful, the rooms are clean,everything works fine. the bed was comfy too.
there a supermarket downstairs and more options just a few hundret meters east with more shops and restaurants. generally that location is a bit off, but convenient for taking the train.
2nd part of the checkin process was the police showing up, asking for my passport, as they were not familiar with my permanent resident card. the talk was done within five minutes, leaving them empty handed.
this had nothing to do with the hotel, so I'd still recommend it if this location is on your route/you want to get to the nearby station.
