The location is very convenience and very easy to find … I’m surprised that they have free breakfast with 3 meals option… the room is clean and big space just I’ve stayed at the upper bunk and it’s very tall which is hard to go up and down .. but I really enjoy the stay .. met few friendly and helpful ********* who stay at the same room as mine .. definitely go back again

In the duck family, headed by Japanese guests, many foreign tourists come here. Everyone is because they like Taiwan and want to have more exchanges with Taiwanese. The Youth Hostel is located near the Kaohsiung Beautiful Island MRT Station and is only a 3-minute walk away. Adjacent to the famous Liuhe Tourist Night Market, the surrounding life is excellent and the transportation is convenient.

It was a seamless check-in process. The hostel's location is also a stone's throw away from the nearest MRT station. Hostel was clean (they do vigorous cleaning for hours daily) and washing machines/dryer are available as well.

It feels more and more like my own home. I feel comfortable buying fruits and cutting them or sharing them with others. Because we were going to stay in Kaohsiung for a long time and had a lot of luggage, we chose a double room this time. The quality of the entire accommodation was very good. Even though there were still people talking in the lounge very late, it did not affect our sleep quality. The hotel is located on the tenth floor and the sky is very beautiful.

The location is very good, about one or two hundred meters from the MRT station There were a lot of people on the day of check-in, but the comfort was still beautiful for the youth travel. Outstanding

CClymene LimWe stayed at this hotel in March. While this review is in English, we communicated to them in Chinese. We also observed that they could converse with simple English with the international guests. Service - The hotel staff were friendly. We were greeted upon entering the door, and attended to immediately. The check-in process was fast. They also explained to us about the amenities - there is an enclosed area where we can chill, enjoy free drinks and ice cream. We were also entitled to one free drink from the par per day. Even the housekeepers were friendly. There was an elderly housekeeper on Level 8 who greeted us and offered to guide us to our rooms - was impressed by this because I wasn't expecting this from any housekeeper from any hotel! The receptionist at the level 2 morning buffet hall was also very attentive. I was looking around for the toilet, when one of the staff saw me and asked me if I needed any help. Please keep this proactiveness up :) Food - The breakfast spread was huge and the food was scrumptious. Absolutely recommend. It has a mix of local ********* dishes and western food. I especially love the ********* food spread! (see photos for some of the food options, though i didnt take photo of everything). Room - The room was sufficient and clean. Housekeeping also does a great job at tidying the room. Location - Right next to Kaohsiung Main Station. I could walk directly to the hotel from the station - it seems like the renovation works that the earlier hotel reviews talked about has been resolved, so there is no longer a need to go to the hotel in a roundabout manner. Super convenient. Other Amenities - They have washing machines, dryers, and even an ironing board! Powder detergent is provided too. This was something we really appreciated. Also, like what I earlier mentioned, they have a hall with the free-flow ice cream and drinks, which is a great place to chill and relax - especially at night after a long day of activities. Overall, I will recommend Kindness hotel to those staying in Kaohsiung!

GGuest UserThis hotel is simple and located on the 11th floor of a building that is shared with 5 other ”hotels” on other floors, but I loved the beautifully immaculate and modern rooms. For its price (~$60/nt), the room (I sprang for the Exquisite room) is spacious, well-designed with plenty of natural lighting from a corner unit facing the funky, cool shaped Kaohsiung Port Cruise Terminal and I LOVE the restroom with a washlet!! and stone shower tiles, equipped with a 55” Google TV and preloaded movies / casting capabilities and general TV that made for great entertainment. The location is stellar (only a 3 mins walk from the R8 station ~ take exit 1... don't listen to Google Maps' instruction 😅) and it is hard to go wrong with the included hot breakfast + 24h snax in the lobby with the wonderful service from the entire staff as a cherry on top. It made working from this hotel for the past five days so delightful. and businesses so the elevator is almost always in use, though there are 5 lifts that move quickly. The only (and very minor; read: nit-picky) downside is that the building houses 5 ”hotels” on other floors and businesses so the elevator is almost always in use, though with the 5 lifts that move quickly, I haven't had to wait longer than 2-3 minutes to get into the next available elevator. Already looking into the Hub Hotels in Taipei when I return next year!

IIrenena FrancesThis hotel is accessible to everywhere. There is also a 7-11 convenience store near the hotel. The breakfast spread is not a lot like other hotels but enough to fill our stomach. Staffs at the hotel are very polite and helpful too. The toilet seat comes with heater which is necessary during cold weather and it is separated from the shower area with a glass panel.

GGuest UserIt took us 5 minutes from MTR station to the hotel. The room is large enough for us to open 2 large luggages at the same time. For me, there had many different TV channels to watch. As having a balcony, the view is very good. The breakfast provided is not bad as there are different types of food including local and western types. Moreover, the coffee is free for the whole day. The staff is nice and helpful.

辣辣妹子Everything about this hotel was great. They offered shampoo and conditioner & shower gel for both men and women. They also have facial cleanser. The water jets shower was a nice touch. There was 24/7 ice cream and the service was great. Enjoyed my stay
