Great location, right by Central Park, making it convenient to get anywhere. The windowless room wasn't stuffy at all, which was a pleasant surprise, and the lighting created a nice ambiance. I had a very comfortable stay. The service was also excellent. I'd definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Kaohsiung.

Smooth check in. Staff was helpful when I have questions about my booking and my room. Gave me options and solved my doubts. The room was upgraded and very spacious. Clean and nice services. Always good for a short stay in Silks. I like their rooms design and the materials use also. Especially the toilet in bathroom. Will stay again

I was very satisfied with this hotel. Its location near Kaohsiung's bustling Formosa Boulevard MRT station is excellent, with plenty of shops and businesses nearby, plus a large grocery store just across the street. The hotel's service truly felt five-star. While there isn't a grand lobby, the practical amenities, like the outdoor swimming pool, were fantastic. The breakfast was also great, and they even had ice cream!

Stayed at Z Zhongshan Kaohsiung recently and had a very good experience overall. The hotel location is very convenient, just a short walking distance to the train station and easy to travel around Kaohsiung. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I especially liked the bathroom design with separate dry and wet areas. The bathtub was very clean as well, which made it nice for a relaxing soak after a long day outside. The shower gel and shampoo provided were good quality and comfortable to use. The bed was soft and comfortable, allowing for a good rest during the stay. One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast buffet. There was a wide variety of selections available, and the menu changed every day, so it did not feel repetitive even after staying for a few days. The restaurant also has a very nice city view of Kaohsiung, making the breakfast experience more enjoyable in the morning. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kaohsiung.

There was a small incident during my stay at E-Da Royal Hotel, but it is worth noting how helpful and accommodating the staff were. I had accidentally made two bookings—one paid and one unpaid. Instead of leaving me to figure it out on my own, the staff kindly assisted me in resolving the situation quickly and smoothly. There was also a minor miscommunication with one of the staff members. Rubina, the Manager on Duty, truly made my day by personally investigating what happened and ensuring that the issue would not occur again. She kept me updated throughout the process and provided clear information—something I have rarely experienced in other hotels. Because of this level of care and professionalism, I felt very well taken care of. Would I come back to Kaohsiung? Maybe. But would I come back to E-Da Royal Hotel? Definitely yes.

My previous excellent experience at the Grand Hotel Taipei led me to choose the Grand Hotel Kaohsiung this time. Although the Grand Hotel Kaohsiung is a bit dated, the rooms are spacious and very clean, and the surrounding environment is very peaceful. It also boasts a terrace with a wonderful view, and the hotel staff are very professional.

The information provided online is a little misleading. There is no reception of “check in hours.” You are required to call a number or scan a QR to contact someone to receive check in information. This is a little inconvenient. Additionally, breakfast is provided but it is in the form of vouchers which need to be exchanged at a cafe 20 minute walk away. The check in information along with information on breakfast, WiFi, check out etc. Could have easily been provided via email or private message before arrival to make the process easier. The location however and room quality, cleanliness and amenities is first class and great value for money!

There are alternating hot and cold hot springs. It is also very close to the cherry blossom forest. In addition, it is also close to places around the city. There are 7-11 and restaurants. You can do some activities before breakfast and in the afternoon. The scenery outside the pool is beautiful. Although the price is a bit expensive, it is still Very good experience.
