Staff were helpful. The location was near the train station which is great for walking. The hostel has a large lobby and communal area for hanging out and chilling. Lots of amenities. Water is free to refill. Beds and toilets were clean and well-equipped with hair dryers. Really pleasant stay and would highly recommend this place for solo travellers.

Newly opened hotels don't have a distinct atmosphere, but the owner's dedication is immediately apparent upon arrival. I was eager to extend my stay after checking in. This was my first time staying in an all-female youth hostel. Apart from the two male owners, there was no one else in the entire place. They were very discreet and stayed away from the rooms unless they were helping the girls carry their suitcases to the stairs. It felt very safe, especially the owner's wife, who was incredibly cute. Chongqing people are incredibly lively when they chat. Speaking of the room, the bed was perfectly made and didn't creak. I slept through it until after 1:00 PM on my first day. It was a fantastic sleep, and the first thing I did when I woke up was to extend my lease. I absolutely loved it.

The Stop Youth Hostel provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Yining will find that the Stop Youth Hostel is a fantastic accommodation choice. The hotel is conveniently located just 5km from Yining Railway Station and 6km from Yining Airport. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Huiyuan Ancient City History and Culture Exhibition Hall, RenHe BuXingJie and Linzexu Memorial Hall all nearby. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling alone.

Clean and cozy hostel. It is located in the private sector, 15-20 minutes' walk from the bus station, where buses to Almaty depart from. It is not marked quite clearly on the map - it seemed to me that it was located on the next street. Only one guy speaks English (a little), so use a translator. If you go down a little lower (10 minutes), you will come out onto a street where there are many grocery stores and catering establishments. Of the minuses: there was no European plug near the bedside socket. In the morning it turned out that the electronic key to the locker did not work. I had to wait for someone to come to the counter and get ready in a hurry. Overall, I liked the hostel. I will probably stay here again next time.

In the past during the Qingming Festival, I was fortunate to see a sudden wind and rain. The owner is a very sincere person. Considering that the second floor is a girl, if there is a man who smokes, he will stop it righteously. The yard downstairs is very large. Sometimes they can hear them have dinner downstairs. But I will not noisy others. The bed is very big. When I went to live in April, I also met a Sichuan sister who was going to see apricot flowers. The volunteer in the store was very cute wheat, and the dog with mixed blood. There was a beauty who was photographing downstairs. It was very comfortable, there was a kitchen, and it was very comfortable. Very homey, I have been ready to live again when I am ready to go.

I don't have particularly high expectations for youth hostels. The location is in Liuxing Street, the surrounding area is quite quiet, and it is close to places to eat. The room is clean. The most uncomfortable thing is that there is no air conditioning. It is too hot in the middle of the night.

This was my first time staying in a youth hostel, and I was surprised by how good the experience was. I originally planned to stay for only one day, but the cleanliness and environment were excellent, so I extended my stay for another day. Sometimes, though, it's a matter of luck. On the second night, a woman snored in the bunk above me. Luckily, I had earplugs. 1. Impressive details: When checking in, the hostess provided a protective cover for my ID card if I didn't have one. She also explained the location of the washing machine upon check-in. 2. Comfortable environment: For just over 70 yuan, during peak season, there's a large courtyard, and the cleanliness is excellent. I preferred to stay in the courtyard most of the time. I have to say that the cost of living in Yili is not that high. During peak season, hotels of the same price are much better than those in mainland China. 3. There's a cat: There's a cat in the courtyard. It's very affectionate, greets people, and is very pleasant to pet. It was half the reason I decided to stay an extra day. I plan to stay in every youth hostel with cats in the future. There was also a rather shy Jianzhou cat. It ran away the first time it saw me, but the second time it actually followed me and acted cute. It's a shame I didn't bring any cat food. 4. Extended stay discount: You can ask the staff for extended stays, which are usually better than online rates. Cons: There's not much food nearby, so you'll need to order takeout or walk a bit further, and the options are quite limited. Avoid taking taxis during rush hour, as the traffic is so bad it's unbearable throughout Yining. Use taxi apps to hail taxis, as they're hard to find in the deep alleys. Also, I hope you don't run into any group of more than two people, as groups of three will start chattering, which can be a bit unfriendly to those who are already asleep. But that's how youth hostels are, and there's nothing you can do about it. Overall, the youth hostel is excellent; the environment is comfortable, clean, and hygienic, and the cleaning is done promptly. My next stop is Kashgar, and I'm planning to stay in Gumaoning again.
