Lovely spot in Sai Kung. Our room was great and all the amenities. I appreciate the environmental effort such as a water filter in the room rather than plastic bottles. The pool is really beautiful. It was very cold in February but I appreciate that they keep it open year round , and it was like a very refreshing cold bath and a place to admire the view. The breakfast was fantastic. Great stay.

The staff is friendly. The room and balcony are clean. Basic provisions. Family may find it convenient to have a basic kitchen (stove, microwave, fridge, sink). Need a 10 minutes minibus ride to the town centre, but the minibuses arrive frequently. Will definitely consider to come back again.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights with my wife and toddler son. Location was superb, so convenient. The hotel is connected to the famous Popcorn Mall and TKO MTR station. Lots of shopping, food, breakfast, and supermarkets nearby. The front desk staff were friendly and tried their best to accommodate your needs. The communication between front desk and concierge was also efficient. They dealt with room changes in a smooth and fast manner. I really enjoyed the comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was huge by HK standards, and the rain shower was refreshing. I think the housekeeping team could have done a better job cleaning the room and replacing the towels. I could not give their service 5 stars because in my experience staying at 5 star hotels, if your clothes are scattered on the bed for instance, or toothbrush is out, the housekeepers generally fold and put things back in an organized manner. The breakfast had both western and cantonese options, all being decent. The service at breakfast was nothing special at all (considering they were not busy either) so there was no excuse. When you are seated down for breakfast, the waiters should ask weather you would like coffee/tea and bring it to your table. Did not happen.
You can order customized eggs, but no one brings it to your table surprisingly. What sets a 5 star hotel apart from others is all about the service. Some departments had better service than the others, so the consistency across the different departments is not aligned. I actually don't mind coming back to this hotel again, however the service should be improved.

Loved our stay at the Holiday Inn Express. Traveled with my husband and a toddler. Location is less touristy so it's not overcrowded and more relaxed. We were here to travel to Disneyland (around 32 minutes by train). There's a good mall right beside the hotel called APM, there's also a mall/community center/bus station called Yue Man Square.
There's a water dispenser on every floor, canned water is provided daily. Shower is good, the Tresemme hair and body products are a good touch too (didn't try our skin). Bed is too hard for me, but husband and child slept well. Breakfast is good but repetitive.
In short, everything you'll need is here. If you're not after shopping destinations, this would be a good hotel to stay in. Would definitely consider when visiting HK.

Located in East Kowloon’s bustling business district, it’s just a 5-minute walk from Ngau Tau Kok MTR, offering seamless connectivity. Noise from the other room at 4am - very loud and disturbing- unable to sleep. Complained to the receptionist, they did come up to see and then called the room. They were quiet for a few min and then continued even louder.
Our complaints made no difference whatsoever and therefore we checked out right away! The noise was really unbearable.
Although the staff was helpful but did not resolve the issue could’ve given us another room but no, there’s no other room.
I understand the building was converted from a commercial property into a hotel, but the room walls are too thin.
The feel and the vibe of the hotel is amazing, but again unfortunate that it was too noisy

The location is nice, and our room was good for 2 adults and 1 child under 10. The staff has been accommodating and helpful. They charged a deposit of HKD 1000 or RMB 1000. The service was decent and delivered on par. Hotel amenities were provided on a calculated sum. Do not expect too much from this place, as it is not a premium hotel. As tourists, we felt it was sufficient to rest at night and carry on with our activities during the day. My overall rating would be 6/10 or 7/10 if I were in a good mood.

WwkaiyeenHotel is located conveniently connected to the MOKO mall. It is also well connected with the elevated walkway, which can connect you to the Mongkok station. It has the Mongkok East MTR next to the hotel. It’s also close by to the Ladies Market.
The bed isn’t the most comfortable (quite hard to my liking), other than that all great.
However do note that during Sunday, the elevated walkway nearby can be crowded with people (foreign maids, workers on leave), so it can be challenging if you have young kids and trying to move around.

EEdiGThe hotel positions itself as a 4-star establishment, but it falls short of that mark. Here's a breakdown of my experience:
Location: The location is excellent, if you don't mind a steep uphill walk. However, the entire island is built on different levels, which isn't a negative but rather a positive – a daily workout! There's a bus stop right by the hotel, making it easy to reach the metro instead of walking up and down, straining your leg muscles. Next door is a botanical and zoological garden where you can take a stroll. By the way, entry is free. A 10-minute walk down the hill leads to the cable car ”tram” stop for a trip to Victoria Peak.
Check-in: Check-in was fast, but a USD 300 deposit is required, which isn't mentioned on either the trip.com website or the hotel's website. If you need an adapter for your electronic devices, ask for one right away – the receptionist won't offer it.
Room: The room is relatively clean, though I did find some hair in the kitchen and on the bedding. For Hong Kong, the room is spacious, but there's nowhere to store a suitcase. You can set the temperature on the air conditioner, but it doesn't work. It only blows cold air, making the room humid.
Kitchen: The kitchen is minimally equipped, but it's sufficient. However, upon check-in, they warn you that the stove can only be used for reheating food, not cooking, as the fire alarm system is very sensitive and might activate the siren due to hot steam. You must turn on the exhaust fan to full power and the air conditioner to avoid triggering the alarm. Why bother having a kitchen at all?
Bathroom: The same situation as with the kitchen – you need to close the door and turn on the air conditioner at full power while showering to avoid the fire alarm being triggered by steam from the bathroom. The shower hose started leaking on the second day of my stay. It was replaced with a new one, which also leaked. When the technician replaced the hose, did he check if the equipment was working properly? I doubt it.
Breakfast: Breakfast is only served from a menu, which is quite limited. It's delicious, but not diverse. Is this the service you'd expect from a 4-star hotel? The breakfast organization is chaotic – staff running around and clanging dishes. Two slow coffee machines and one toaster keep guests waiting in line. By the way, there are plastic mugs for tea and coffee. The only fruit options are two types of apples – red and green.
Service: The service is polite, but I'd say it's ”on demand.” You need to ask for shampoo, shower gel, and dishwashing liquid to be refilled. The housekeeping, for some reason, doesn't notice the need to replenish hygiene products in the bathroom and kitchen.
Environmentalism: As in all of Hong Kong, they no longer provide water in plastic bottles. That's good, but come up with an alternative so guests don't have to go to the store for water. In my opinion, this environmental concern is simply an opportunity to reduce service costs while maintaining high accommodation prices. Speaking of breakfast again, the jam and butter are provided in small plastic containers, just like on airplanes. Is this really about caring for the environment?
Conclusion: Overall, it's a good choice if you're not bothered by the minor service inconsistencies and if you don't have high expectations for a 4-star hotel. If you're visiting Hong Kong, I'd recommend Two MacDonell Road.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to the airport. If you take the AirPort Express train to the Asia World Expo station, it’s maybe 3-5 minutes away by feet - it’s actually directly connected to the station so you don’t even have to go outside! They provide a shuttle to the airport every 15 minutes which is great. I think the ride lasts maybe 5 minutes? It’s very short, the airport is genuinely super close.
The staff is very helpful. According to Hong Kong law, the hotels cannot distribute plastic water bottles so instead, each room gets a glass bottle that you can go refill whenever. There are several stations on each floor to do this. I thought this was a really good system.
They have a bar with a very nice atmosphere. Many people are sitting there waiting for their late flights and the vibe was really good!
It’s somewhat of a basic business hotel. It was nice and clean but I felt like it was nothing extra - for this reason, I thought the price was way too high. This was my only problem. However, we also need to remember that this is Hong Kong, so it won’t be cheap.

GGuest UserGood location hotel with free toasts and coffee. It is very good to have simple breakfast at the hotel. However, the room is a little bit small compare with other same grade hotels. The location is fantastic. Very close to MTR subway, shopping malls and restaurants. The transportation is excellent. A11 bus can directly bring us to the airport which the station is very close to the hotel. In conclusion, it is a very nice hotel.

YYong VennyThey dont provide bottled water or amenities that use plastic. However, you can boil water from the tap dan they provide the pitcher as well as the electric jug.
You cannot find any restaurant around the hotel but you can take the free shuttle bus to Tsuen Wan Station and you can find foods seller there. The food price in hotel is acceptable for my breakfast dan dinner.
The view from my room is awesome dan the room size is big. My room has a living room dan pantry with sink.

KKs925Room is small but the room I have chosen comes with balcony. Toilet is small but hot shower is consistent with good pressure. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggages before leaving. The location is good and lots of eatery nearby.

FFeefa MLocation wise very good. Only 2 minutes walk from Islamic Canteen and Mosque. When we booked we didn’t know it’ll be that near so easy for us to find halal food and pray as well. Also about 10 minutes walk to Wan Chai Station. Our room is not very spacious however the price is okay for the room that fits our family of 4 as we chose family room. We mainly took public transport to go everywhere - Disneyland (40 mnt) , Ocean Park ( 20 minutes) , Victoria Peak + Peak Trams ( 25 minutes), ferry terminal to Macau only 10 minutes away and airport around 45 mnt to 1 hr depending on your exchange time. Overall we are satisfied with the hotel. As we will not be spending time inside the room so the price was okay for us with comfortable place to sleep.

AAngbabaylanIt is an old building. Some parts were still pretty. My room was clean. I was a little confused when I was looking for my room. Most of the staff were nice. The lobby guy around 5 or 6am was really helpful giving me directions to 711. The staff during check in was nice enough but there was a little hint of impatience maybe he was tired and there were a lot of customers checking in that time. I didn’t see seaside which was a shame. There is construction going on.
