I have mixed feelings about the service. When we arrived, the manager was nice and upgraded us to a room with two beds because it would have more legroom for my boyfriend: okay, cool.
Then he told us we'd get a room with a window and Wi-Fi, except we'd already specifically paid more for the amenities (if you look closely, you'll see the same photos for 4-5 hotels on Tripadvisor that are actually the same, some cheaper without windows and with Wi-Fi as an extra, and others more expensive with everything).
We wanted to book an extra night, and I asked if they could match the Tripadvisor price. The manager had a bad attitude and gave us a very high price to keep our "upgrades," which weren't standard upgrades. He then moved on to other guests without even looking at me while we were deep in conversation. He told me that if I didn't want to pay the price and booked through trip.com, we'd have to check out at 11:00 a.m. and check in at 2:00 p.m., and that he'd charge us for luggage storage and give us a lower-quality room. It sounded like a scam and wasn't good customer service at all. They also made us pay in cash because otherwise they'd charge us extra for the international card. Other people came afterward to ask us the same thing and they got a better price: the only difference? They spoke Chinese.
The room wasn't cleaned, our towels had holes in them and weren't changed, and there were stains on the sheets. The hairdryer was unusable because the plug wasn't the right one, and we didn't have a TV in the room either. We had no water, and there was no water cooler available either. Otherwise the location is convenient and I highly recommend the Pakistani restaurant in the building.
