Empire Hotels in Hong Kong

I travelled solo and arrived early to drop off my luggage. To my surprise, I am told they have a room ready for me (just past noon time) and furthermore, a king-size bed instead of a queen bed I requested. My room is very spacious and very clean. While the location is 6-8 minutes away from the nearest MTR station, I found it acceptable. The bathroom is tiny though. Wifi is excellent. The location is extremely convenient, I couldn’t imagine the best area to stay in Hong Kong for my first experience here! The hotel is close to bus and subway stations. My hotel room view was 10 out of 10. Unfortunately, there was an incident with my personal belongings when a cleaning lady threw away my water bottles and tripod plastic bag. These items weren’t in the trash bin, I’ve never had such experience with any cleaning service that they take responsibility for throwing away their guests’ things. That incident worsened my impression of the hotel. I didn’t feel like my stuff would be safe and sound inside my hotel room. In general, the hotel is nice to stay in Hong Kong.
