Emeishan Homestays

I chose this hotel because it is close to the entrance of Emeishan and it was definitely the right decision! It is within a 10 minute walk and also highly accessible by car/bus (5 minute car ride from the high speed railway station). The hotel staff were extremely kind and helpful, giving me lots of food recommendations and also taking extra care in making sure I am safe and know how to get around (given that I am a young female solo traveller). The room was incredibly spacious and well lit. The breakfast options were also very extensive. Definitely worth the value for money and encourage everyone to stay here!

The hotel is close to Wuxiangang Station in Mount Emei. You need to buy tickets for Mount Emei before you can enter. The station pick-up service is provided. The traffic is very convenient. The proprietress is very enthusiastic and will help plan the tour route. The hotel's dinner is also superb, super delicious, and I will stay next time I have the opportunity.

説説整體感覺，倆字概括：驚艷。 原行程其實衹有成都，但是最後空出了近兩天一晚的時間，和朋友合計了下，不如去成都周邊逛一逛，於是一腳踏進了峨眉，搜到了這家民宿，抱着試一試的心態入住了，萬萬沒想到，進門的一瞬間就開始各種“哇”。 房間温馨舒適，還帶了一個平台，周圍都是大片竹林，房間裏可以看到外面的湖，茶園。很安靜，空氣好。作為甘肅人，真的是來到了洗肺聖地。晚上在微雨聲中入睡，早上在鳥叫蟬鳴中甦醒，很久沒有睡的這麼好過了，如圖如圖如圖~ 返程路上，一直在跟朋友唸叨還要來，一定還要來，而且要拉着其它小夥伴來，太適合當代年輕人短暫的“隱居”了。 從來沒有寫過這麼長的評論，是那種和大自然朝夕相處後的興奮，這種感覺，可能衹有親歷，才會有切身體會吧。

設施：全屋智能家居，各種用品都使用的好品牌，床品也舒服。房間比較小，但是該有的都有。 衞生：打掃得挺乾淨，除了本來酒店應用的還提供了一次性用品。建議把小度再擦一下，有灰塵。 環境：整體是古色古香的佈置，一樓二樓是茶室/水吧，拍照打卡漂亮，生意很好。位置處於好吃街，很多吃的，但是也有酒吧，晚上還是有些吵的，需要關門窗睡覺。樓上隔壁隔音也一般。 服務：很好，工作人員都很周到和熱情，主動幫忙和打招呼。見有小朋友主動調整了更大一點的房型，搬行李，拿小童用具和歡迎水果。走的時候也都打招呼，小朋友説服務真好下次還要住這裏。

I didn't plan to go out this year, I didn't like to be too crowded and noisy. I temporarily remembered to find a place to go around. I read a lot of reviews on the Internet and said that the environment of this homestay is very good, quiet and not noisy. So I decided here. After I came, I felt really good. The homestay is in a half-mountain next to the Emei Mountain Scenic Area. It has not been developed, natural and ecological. Because it is the New Year, there is also a New Year atmosphere, the red firewood of the smoke, the quiet mountains, the enthusiastic boss... suddenly feel that this temporary choice will also give people surprises. This unexpected surprise makes this Spring Festival a little more happy! Dongyue Banshan B&B is also worth your expectations!

The morning light is small, the mountains are light, the stream is low, like a long-winded ancient tune, introducing people to the Yuexi Valley deep in Mount Emei. By chance, I wanted to make an appointment with my friends to come to this good house built by the stream. Pushing the window to see the mountain, opening the door to the water, the stream is like a wisp, and the breeze and birdsong in the mountains are a natural movement. In the morning, the mist is light, and the mountains are like Dai; at night, the starry river is low, and the stream is dreaming. Time flows quietly here, and the heart is quiet, as if it is integrated with the world. The meals at the hotel are nourishing and nourishing, and the categories are rich. The ingredients are taken from the mountains and the seasons are cooked, both spicy and delicious in Sichuan and light and elegant in morning tea. Every dish is a tribute to nature. During the stay, Huazai, the person in charge of the homestay, personally cooked the fried egg version of egg fried rice fried rice, which made my friends and I praise. The golden and crisp egg flowers are wrapped in clear rice, the aroma is overflowing, and the entrance is amazing, as if the ordinary days are dyed into poetry. Within the homestay, elegant and interesting. Chess and card wine coffee, tasting calligraphy, both elegant and vulgar. The tea room is quiet, a pot of tea, a roll of poetry, you can spend half a day; a few books, pen and ink paper are all in, let you wave the ink and write the chest. If you are happy, you can also play chess and cards with friends, or have a drink in the bar, raise a glass to invite the month, enjoy your leisure. In the room, it is simple and elegant. The owner, Huazai, is personable and sincere. In the off-season, he upgraded our suite for free, personally picked up and gave us local specialty snacks. His enthusiasm and thoughtfulness, as clear as a stream, as warm as a mountain wind, is touching. I wish to do a fair review of my B&B stay at Emeishan. Service was spectacular. 1) The hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off services from Emeishan Station (not to be confused with Emei Station), about 7-8 mins drive from the hotel. I communicated via WeChat which trains I would be on and let them know that my 1st train arrival was actually so that I could drop off my large suitcase at their place, before going backwards to Leshan for half a day, and then returning to Emeishan in the evening. Not only did they agree to send someone to the train station to pick-up, they agreed to pick up only my luggage without me needing to accompany. So I could add an additional hour to my Leshan trip. Then they came to the train station a 2nd time in the evening to pick me back to the hotel. 2) The hotel replies very very quickly on WeChat, as if monitoring it all the time. 3) The hotel could arrange ticket purchase of a show, Only Emeishan, at a price lower than what you find on the official website. 4) The hotel even left the suitcase in my room before my arrival. 5) When I told the hotel to skip preparing my breakfast as I was starting off at 7am the next day to go Emeishan (breakfast is 7.30am at the hotel), they offered to put some items into a plastic box for me to take along. 5-star service in terms of making arrangements! They gave me a really large room, and I never used the bathtub with the bath herbs, but am thankful for the upgrade. Loved it that they gave 1 gigantic bottle of water and 2 smaller ones, showing their care for pple intending to climb Emeishan. Please don't expect too much from what they call ”Afternoon Tea” included in your package. It is merely a small tray of dried/fresh fruit, so it wouldn't form a meal. But I would not be fair to readers of reviews if I didn't give a balanced review. a) The hardware is a bit tired. The wooden planks in the shower room are blackish, and there are water marks on the stone in the bathroom. b) The power sockets are not at good locations. They are at the lower parts of a wall at a random spot and nothing near the bedside. c) The lights in the room are not well-positioned. d) There was an empty bottle below the wardrobe area when I first entered the room, which was missed even on the 2nd day. e) As I'm not familiar with Emeishan, I also didn't know that 黄湾 area is not exactly the main activity area in Emeishan. That said, the hotel is a 5-7 min walk from the 黄湾 entrance/exit to Emeishan. I believe the Baoguo Temple entrance/exit would be more popular. There are several restaurants around the restaurant but the vast majority appear closed or are not occupied, so it doesn't feel very lively, whether day or night. All in all, I would still recommend this hotel as they are family owned and run. The whole family depends on your support. Support local small business and give them a chance.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel! The location was perfect right in between the start of the mountain and the small town with plenty of restaurants. The rooms were stunning and clean with many amenities that all worked perfectly. We deeply appreciated the coffee machine in the room as well as the tea and filtered water! The service was incredible and the staff really went out of their way to accomodate any of our requests or needs. They turned on the hottub every evening at 6:30 so it would be filled for us once we returned! Not to mention the breakfast was the best breakfast i’ve tried in all of China! Thank you for making my birthday so special. Highly recommend !

This B&B is located next to Shengshui Pavilion in Mount Emei. Not only does Hetang Yunxi have unparalleled mountain views, but its simple yet warm room design completely changed my impression of B&Bs on the mountain. The interior of the room is spotless, and the Zen-like style makes people calm and refresh themselves. When I wake up in the morning, I open the window and see green everywhere. The breakfast is a plus for me. The hand-made buns and dumplings are all made by my aunt. I go out to the mountains just for this. Take a bite of nature, the delicious food and the beautiful scenery complement each other, adding infinite comfort and satisfaction to the journey. It is definitely a rare choice for rest during the trip.
