"This cute no-thrill place is run by a lovely young Chinese couple; they are very charming and super helpful (offered free sunset sightseeing trip, organised very good value trip to Kunming airport).
The room I stayed in was nice, overlooking the rice fields and with a huge bathroom. For the cool nights, there is a cozy electric blanket.
The rooftop offers great views on the Duoyishu Terraces, and there is even a small restaurant where the owners will cook some delicious food for you.
The hotel is located at the bottom of the very typical Pugao village where you will experience the real villagers life and come across water Buffalos.
NB : The Duoyishu Terraces Scenic Spot (多依树梯田景区) is only 10/12 minutes walk from the hotel."

"We drove to Yuanyang this time and saw this Shengtian on the Internet. Because it was not the peak season, we decided to check out the room before deciding whether to stay. The hotel has a designated parking lot and shuttle bus. The hotel needs to take a shuttle bus to get there.
The room is spacious and tidy. The king-size bed room has a two-meter bed. The bedding is good and clean. Because the temperature difference between morning and evening is large, the quilt is also thick. The hair dryer is equipped with Lefen, which is very good. "The location is great. It only takes 5 minutes to drive from the entrance of the scenic spot. After two days of visiting various scenic spots, I found that it is convenient to get there. It is also the middle point of the hiking route from Jingkou Village to Bada Village.
Located in a traditional Hani village, there are sacrificial halls, village gates, and many mushroom houses. The village still retains the traditional production and lifestyle. Elders and cows are the most common. Chickens and ducks are running around. Everywhere you walk, there are mushrooms. You can take photos and check in, giving you a strong rural feel.
The hotel's hygiene is commendable because it is newly opened and all facilities and equipment are relatively new. The bathroom is TOTO and the sheets and quilts are very good to the touch. I read online reviews that the fog here is very heavy and I am afraid of humidity, but there is no smell at all in the room. No, the next day I saw that the cleaning staff were still using disinfecting lights in every room.
The restaurant is on the edge of a terraced field 100 meters away. Sitting by the window is a picture. The dishes are more local, delicious and not expensive. The ingredients are fresh. There is a shelf full of brewed wine. We all tasted it. Very tasty.

Surrounding the inn is the distant mountains such as Dai, Qingtian into the painting. Parking is available in the small courtyard downstairs, and the room is very large and spacious! Sitting by the floor-to-ceiling windows, drinking tea, watching the puppy duck calf on the road downstairs, don't have a lot of fun.
The boss is a super tasteful literary young man, the famous school graduated fluent in English, and the foreigners nearby came to ask him for a tour guide. If the time is right, you can also follow the boss to the market. There are many local dishes that you don't know, as well as delicious rice noodles and snacks, which is very interesting!
In short, I am very satisfied. If there are six stars, I will give six stars. Haha!

FF12A7We had a lovely stay at Flowers Residence. They have a friendly resident cat too. The owner Sam is giving some good recommendations and helped us with tickets to platforms and other sightseeing too. He showed us a restaurant nearby and they have a lovely big dog, Capu. We extended our stay because of bad weather. Im glad we did coz we managed to get a beautiful sunrise and see beautiful terrace the next day. Would return again.

The floor-to-ceiling glass windows made it a very stylish homestay. The parking lot was very convenient. It was only 200 meters away from the Duoyishu Scenic Area Observation Deck. It was also very convenient to drive there to watch the sunset. It was not far from several scenic spots. The owner of the hotel was also very enthusiastic and provided us with a map of the Yuanyang Terraces tourist route. The food was also delicious. The overall evaluation was very good, with five-star praise.

GGuest UserWe went to Banna and transferred to Yuanyang. The children liked this place very much. The lady at the homestay chatted and sang with the children. The children were very excited after hearing all the flattery. The village is basically inhabited by local farmers, and the children are having a great time strolling around the village feeding chickens, pigs and cows. If the weather is warmer, I would like to stay a few more days.

The hotel and room are beautiful, with lovely designs and high-quality products and accessories. The bed and armchairs in the room are very comfortable. The shower and footbath were perfect after long days of hiking. The view of the rice fields is always beautiful, making it very peaceful and relaxing.
The Chinese and Western breakfasts are delicious and plentiful, allowing us to wait until dinner in the evening.
The hotel also offers a restaurant for dinner: the dishes are very varied, traditional, and, above all, always delicious.
Finally, the staff was excellent throughout our stay! Helpful, lovely, and very accommodating (they served us breakfast earlier and helped us with our bags to book a minibus for our departure). We only stayed three days, and we would have liked to have stayed longer. A little paradise. Thank you to the entire team!

AAaron CedricI love this hotel! The room is so atmospheric, with large windows connecting you with the beautiful scenery outside. On a foggy day, you cannot see any of the terraces and there's not much to do outside, but the room is at its most magical in the fog... the view looks like a famous Japanese screen of 'pine in mist'... or a Song dynasty painting. Incredibly beautiful.... I wish I spent more time in the room! The location of the hotel is perfect for those who want to see the sunrise over Duoyishu, since you can view it on the roof or, if you want to go to the best viewing platform that's only about a 10 minute walk away. The hotel is also semi-walking distance to Azheke Village, which is 45-60 minutes by walking on the ring road. Every morning the hotel serve rice noodle soup using local red rice.... it's quite nourishing to start a day of hiking. Oh, and the boss is really friendly and helpful. He seems to only speak Chinese, but I think he will go out of his way to be helpful if you dont speak Chinese. He makes great recommendations and even seems to be good at forecasting the weather to help you plan your trip. He definitel 'knows the hills.'

AAnonymous UserThe boss is a lady from Henan Province. She is very welcoming. Before I left, she introduced a chartered car driver to me and reserved an electric blanket for my room. After arriving, we were introduced to the free viewing area and could order food and cook at any time. But to be honest, the room was still a bit cramped and there was barely enough space between the beds. I heard that the voltage on the mountain is unstable and there are always power outages. I also caught one this time🙈
The inn is not far from the Duoyishu Observation Deck, and it only takes ten minutes to walk there. There is a village below, where you can go down to the terraced fields and take a stroll.
After I went there, I realized that the price and quality of accommodation at Yuanyang Rice Terraces vary greatly, especially during holidays, so it depends on your personal preference.

DDangdixiangdaoyangguangxiangdaoA very unique experience. The B&B is located next to the observation deck. Some rooms in the hotel and the hotel's own balcony are the viewing points. You can watch the sunrise and sunset without leaving home. The boss is a very affectionate person with stories and background. Different volunteers come to the hotel every day to serve guests, including cute children, who treat the hotel as an amusement park. There are also docile dogs and lazy cats. This is a paradise. If I have the chance, I hope I can take my children to live here for a long time next year. There is a home here, a school here, and a party feel. Personal feelings vary from person to person. For me, this is not a hotel, it is the home of an old friend, a place that I will miss even though I am thousands of miles away.

LLezaiyuzhiMaybe because it was the off-season, there was no one at the counter when we arrived in the afternoon, so we had to go back to the car and wait because of the rain. It wasn't until a little brother came back that he went upstairs and asked someone to check in. The room is average, but it is still clean, the hot water is not hot, fortunately it is summer now. The restaurant downstairs is closed, so it is inconvenient to eat. You have to drive to a nearby restaurant to eat. I don't know how the breakfast is, because the restaurant is not open, but an old lady should be the mother of the boss! They said they could cook it for me, but it didn't work for me. Generally speaking, I feel that it is not in business and I do not recommend staying here unless it reopens, but there is no elevator, and it is inconvenient to have a lot of luggage. The parking space is at the door, so you can park 3~4 cars!
