We are a family of four—two Japanese children and two adults (half Japanese, half American). We’ve lived in Japan for 25 years and have stayed in many ryokan across the country. We’re happy to pay a premium if the experience is worth it, but unfortunately, this ryokan did not meet expectations. The public bath is in need of renovation, the food was very ordinary, and there were storage boxes placed around the restaurant during dinner, which took away from the atmosphere. Staff are nice.

Stayed 2 nights on the island of Miyajima. Typical ryokan style with tatami mats with mattress for a good nights' sleep. View from the room was good towards the Torii gate on the beach.

I had an unforgettable night in Miyajima It's a bit far from the ferry terminal, but you can go there after looking around the shopping district They even sent me off in a shared car when I left The food was great and the view was really nice It's old, so the facilities are a bit worn out (public baths, etc.), but it was great

The hotel can provide free delivery service! Be sure to contact the hotel in advance! The hotel is also quite far from the pier, and there is a flight of stairs to get there, but because of this, the room can see the big torii! One night and two meals are good, and the hot spring private bath is also good! When you leave, you can store your luggage, and then go to the pier to play, and ask the tourist center at the pier to call the hotel and ask them to send your luggage to the pier, free of charge!

It should be the hotel with the best location for viewing the Grand Torii in Miyajima! The hotel includes breakfast and dinner, and the price is very cost-effective. There is also a shuttle bus. After checking out, you can continue the tour, and then you can ask the hotel to send your luggage directly to the pier, which is extremely convenient.

The facilities are old, but the service was simple and good. The food was delicious and was served at the right time. Our family also enjoyed using the private open-air bath. It might be a little disappointing for those looking for sophisticated city service, but all in all it was a good inn. I would like to use it again.
