This hotel is next to Lingyin temple and it is a good location for you to walk and visit Lingyin temple.

Aman is peace. Though each Aman gives different experience Aman Fayun has great energy and heritage to it. The local villagers especially Mr Xie and a few others are super sweet. The other staffs are nice and sweet though I could apply higher standard I do see the effort and appreciate. Spa is super more cultural activities and experiences could be added

As expected they provide top rated services and was helpful and kept it blissful throughout especially in a busy tourist city like Hangzhou Bonus if you like cats

From checkin to till checkout, everything was fantastic! Hotel contacted me when I booked the room. They asked us our preferences for all the logistics. When we arrived the hotel management including GM welcomed us and Nancy from guest relations, she is brilliant! She helped us everything during our stay. Booked spa, restaurants, guide tour to temple.. Our room was very special, decoration, ambience, towels, bed linens, pillows all are so nice, comfortable! All the hotel staff are very helpful and smiley all the time. You must try SPA ! We tried Vegetarian restaurant and Steam House. Both are great! All in all fantastic experience and another proof that you can not go wrong with Aman group

Aman in Hangzhou is the perfect staycation destination. The environment is calming and beautiful, relaxing and natural. The staff and service at Amanfayun is probably the best second only to the hotel grounds itself. The room was beautiful and had probably the best sleep I’ve had in a long time as the room becomes completely pitch black and the bed is super comfortable. The spa was unreal, with an ensuite for every service (1 or 2 people). The spa is located next to the pool which had to be my favorite thing about staying there - the afternoon tea by the pool was amazing, delicious, and so cute. It wasn’t hard to feel comfortable or communicate because the majority of staff speaks English. The hotel has 6 places to eat, but I will say as someone who doesn’t eat meat it was a little hard to find options at the hotel but super easy to order food in! If you do eat meat, no problem, there are many options. Definitely recommend Amanfayun to anyone but especially anyone looking for a weekend away with family, a friend, or a loved one. Thanks Aman!

The service quality need more improvements. The hotel is under traffic control during weekend. The hotel suggested guests to arrive by bus. The bus was hard to get in. There is no television in the room. Its okay. There is no coffee machine. It was not very convenient.

Wonderful experience at Amanfayun. Service are top notch. Restaurant on site are delicious. A very unique and charming place that I didn’t want to leave, will be back again.

It is a good choice for a parent-child rest trip. It is quiet and warm. The waiters are meticulous and enthusiastic. I must give a thumbs up to the breakfast, which is very delicious 😋. I don’t feel that Hangzhou is a desert of food, haha! Wontons, noodles, scallion stew, steamed buns, and Longjing waffles 🧇, 👍. The hotel has a tram to pick up and drop off throughout the whole journey, which is very considerate. It is next to Lingyin Temple. It is very convenient to feel the atmosphere of Buddhism. I will come again next time.

The architectural style retains the quaint charm of Jiangnan folk houses, with white walls, black tiles, wooden windows and wooden doors. Every detail exudes a strong historical atmosphere. Stepping into it, it seems to travel back to ancient times, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. However, the facilities inside the hotel are full of modern comfort and convenience, with floor heating, central air conditioning, retro bathroom, etc., allowing me to enjoy the tranquility and simplicity while also having a high-quality life experience. Super super awesome! I deeply regret not staying here before. I never knew that I liked the original village-style hotel. The environment of Amanfayun is really super good, the room is also super, warm and comfortable, the towels are very soft, the bedding is just the right hardness, and the spa products are full of ginger, which can heal me all winter! The small wontons, oily scallion buns and cypress for breakfast are the local specialties of Hangzhou, which is super respectful of the local food culture. The steamed food restaurant and Lanxuan are also must-visit restaurants, and the products are great. All the staff I met in the hotel were very nice and considerate. Miss Fiona finally gave me tea and linen bags as souvenirs, thank you very much!
