The bed is ok but most of the other beds user are long term students in Hangzhou so it’s a very stuffed dormitory inside the room. And it’s very dark inside the building .

The location is quite convenient, not far from the metro station. The staff were helpful and spoke decent English, which made check-in and communication easy. The room was comfortable and well-equipped — they provide slippers, a towel, and other essentials. However, the air conditioning couldn’t be adjusted and only blew warm air, so it felt more like a heater, which might not be ideal if you’re someone who runs warm. The shower was a bit on the small side, but manageable. Overall, a solid place to stay if you’re looking for comfort and convenience!

Excellent hostel. Clean, comfortable, they give you towell and sleepers. I really liked the library. Music on the weekends. Cheap.

I've stayed at Desti Youth parks a few times now and no matter the city, there was always very friendly staff, clean rooms and a lot to do at the hostel. This time was no different. They have a cute seperate floor for reading or working and a little stage space on the first floor with daily entertainment as far as I could tell.

Best hostel I've stayed in my life when it comes to infrastructure and cost benefit.

My experience was great. The location is close to MTR/Subway. The staff speaks English. The rooms are clean.

I have bad experience with this branch in Xian because they are not clean but this location is very clean. Staff can communicate English. Location is 550m walk and you can rent a bike in font of hostel.

It's a youth hostel, so I guess you get what you pay for-- general pros and cons of a general hostel/capsule hotel applies. ' However, I must say that the service is exceptional. Initially, I didn't quite enjoy my stay there due to the corridors smelling abit weird, (plus Hangzhou having a general issue of cigarette smoke being almost everywhere) plus all the other cons of a typical capsule hotel, plus other miscellaneous issues such as the laundry machine also relying on having an alipay WALLET, (which, as a foreigner, I did not have) or my locker having issues, but, the staff at the hostel were exceptionally friendly and helpful, helping me find a way to get my laundry done, my locker fixed. I felt that they knew what they were doing and I didn't feel too worried my entire time there. The staff also were very helpful in giving directions, recommending food, and even with parcel collection. I am not really quite sure what else to say here, I just felt that they were super friendly and sweet, and willing to help with any queries I had. (Once again, thank you so much, if you guys are reading this, I literally cannot stress this enough, thank you, thank you for helping me, thank you for making my stay so enjoyable) Additionally, the vibe there is amazing. Although I came with low expectations and no intention to make friends, I somehow (credit to my travel buddy) made many new friends and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them, speaking with them, overall interaction. The whole place just has this nice chill vibe and they've also got lots of games there, and a nice pool table. The concert night was quite fun too, got to see a nice rendition of 后来 (刘若英/Rene Liu) by one of the performers. Perhaps I'd do it again.

Staff can speak English and have bidet

The bed bunks really are fine, nice lighting, good towel and the bed was also nicely made. However, the room was a bit dirty, lot of hairs on the floor. Furthermore the bathroom stinks a bit. The staff was kind but could not speak English very well

Beds are really comfortable, great location, near subway and west lake. Staff are helpful and speak English. Rooms are really clean, so are bathrooms and really nice social areas. However, the toilet cubicles themselves always smelt like cigarette smoke... and the hostel itself is not very social... hard to make friends or maybe that's just China's youth hostel culture, everyone just keeps to themselves and the social events.... well they are not social at all...
