Friendly staff, clean rooms, near station but high up and resort is spread along side of the hill, so constantly using stairs, one meal I had was curry rice and very basic

Very cozy family-style hotel, very clean. When the weather is good, walking up and down the stairs in the warm sunshine feels like returning to childhood. *There are many stairs because it is on the mountain. People with inconvenient legs and feet are not recommended to book. *The boss will help carry the luggage. *The hot spring is not big, but it has a Showa style with the creaky wooden floor. This hot spring really flows down from the mountain! After the bath, the body is very slippery!

The hotel is in a very good location, right next to the station. If you have a lot of luggage, it will be a bit tiring to go up the stairs. You can soak in the hot spring for free, which is great. The room is tatami and is very comfortable overall.

The room is nice and the location is excellent, not far from Hakone Yumoto Station, and there is a free foot bath. I will choose to stay here next time.

The hotel is easy to find. It's right next to the station. The transportation is convenient. You have to walk up a small slope. If you have luggage, the boss will help you carry it. It should be a self-run hotel. It is very warm and friendly. We just wanted it to be convenient so we could store our luggage and go on a day trip, and just pick up our luggage when we left. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The rooms are on tatami. I like the authentic Japanese style. My kids and I like it the most because it has its own natural hot spring. The Japanese-style hot spring has separate male and female pools, which is very down-to-earth. When you are tired after walking for a day, you can go directly to the hot springs. The pure natural hot spring water does not need to be heated. It flows directly into the pool from the mountain. Remember to be early. It ends at 9 pm, but you can continue to soak at 7 am. It was just released in the morning. The water is extremely hot. Remember to bring water when you go to the hot springs, or bring money to buy it at the vending machine. My kids and I liked this hotel very much. We stayed one night and soaked in hot springs twice. If we come to Hakone again next time, we will book this hotel to stay for two more days.

Kappa Tengoku Despite our late check-in, we were welcomed! The building was very tasteful and the open-air bath was wonderful! It's close to the station, so I recommend it!

This hotel is on the hillside. The owner is very friendly and will come down to help you carry your luggage up. He is very simple and kind.
