I had a fantastic stay at Tokyu REI Hotel Nagano! The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from Nagano Station, which made getting around the city super easy. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and very well-maintained. My room was cozy, quiet, and had everything I needed, including a comfortable bed and fast Wi-Fi.
The staff were polite. I especially appreciated the breakfast buffet—it had a great variety of both Japanese and Western options, all fresh and tasty.
Overall, Tokyu REI Hotel Nagano offered excellent value for the price. Whether you're visiting for business or sightseeing, I’d highly recommend it for a comfortable and hassle-free stay in Nagano.

JJpg.vs.GifGreat location, just 5 minute walk from the JR Nagano station. It has a main entrance and a back door entry way. The amenities were fantastic, room is the average size in Japan, a little small for western standards but it was comfortable. We loved the onsen on the 11th floor and the free use of the massage chairs as well as complimentary Popsicles and Soba at night. The breakfast was also lovely, with a main focus on Japanese breakfast (there were a few western dishes available).

JJames DobleMy room on the 7th floor was comfortable and well-appointed. While not the largest room I've stayed in (around 18 square meters, I believe), it was certainly adequate for my needs as someone who mostly uses the room as a base for exploring. The bed was just right – not too firm, not too soft – and I slept soundly. I appreciated the thoughtful touches like the comfortable armchair with an ottoman, perfect for relaxing after a day out. The view from my window wasn't spectacular, overlooking a street partially obscured by another section of the hotel, but I could still see a decent stretch of the city skyline.

NNoelIs a bit far from JR station around 12 mins walk. And hotel exterior is a bit old fashion.
And room layout is a bit strange( hexagonal shape) . Other than that overall is satisfactory, bed very comfortable and big size, staffs are very polite and efficient check in.
Amenities is very sufficient and you don’t need to bring any of your own.

KKLYKLYHotel service is excellent, room is very clean and breakfast is delicious (Japanese cuisine) .
We enjoy staying there for 8 days, 15 minutes walk from Nagano JR line. If you have many luggages on your way back to Nagano JR station (too much shopping done after the trip 😅) suggest you let the hotel staff know they will book a taxi for you ( only cost JY 900). I had a pleasant stay and fully recharge after a short break. Definitely will be back again. ありがとございますた。

CcereresI booked hotel for short stay in Nagano. My main reason for travel was visiting Snow Monkey Park and exploring Nagano area, i used room only for sleeping and for this purpose it suited well. It located near station, just opposite side from bus stop to Snow Monkey Park, there is 7elevel just in the building next door. I was kinda sad that i couldn’t use hot bath, but i have tattoos and i expected that. Stuff was nice, i was allowed to leave my bags before check-in, room were pretty small, but this is what you expect from this type of accommodation. Overall can recommend

WWei LeThis place is ~5mins walk from Zenkoji temple. neighborhood is peaceful at night.
Shoes to be removed outside the accommodation. Rooms are on the 2nd floor so you'll have to carry your luggage up (there's no lift).
Room (with window) is huge. You'll have to head downstairs to use the shared toilet and shared onsen (no toilet inside the room).
We were only allowed 30mins of onsen time for 2 pax - couples weren't allowed to use the onsen concurrently so we had to go one after another (i'm not sure if the instructions got lost in translation..). Felt very rushed so i didnt really get to enjoy the onsen experience, but overall was nice and clean.
Interesting 6.30am tour around the area and within the temple itself, followed by a simple vegetarian breakfast (porridge with omakase-styled sides with miso soup) back at the accommodation. The morning tour lasted from 6.30am - 8.30am.
The accommodation provided a fleece blanket to each pax to bring to Zenkoji temple to keep us warm during the morning praying ceremony. We went on 30 Dec and it was SO COLD.
Overall interesting experience but accommodation price is pretty steep IMO.

IIvanReceptionist was very friendly, recommending places to eat and things to do. Room was clean. The washing machine is free to use. Bed was very soft and comfortable. Location is about 15-20 mins walk from nagano station. And about 10 mins walk to zenkoji temple, you can wake up early and walk to see the early morning prayer that occurs at sunrise.

GGuest UserWe arrived from Tokyo on a late shinkansen, and needed to stop overnight before catching the bus to Hakuba in the morning. Hotel Abest had the best rates and their checkin counter was open until late.
We had a room on the ninth floor. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean, and there was even an automatic massage chair.
We added breakfast, and the photos I have added show the nutritious hot breakfast and the view from the small restaurant on the tenth floor.
Would absolutely recommend staying here!
