"I recently had the pleasure of staying at this airport hotel, and I am thrilled to share my experience. The staff were absolutely outstanding—cordial, helpful, and always ready to assist. The service made my stay truly enjoyable. The room itself was stylish and modern, featuring all the amenities one could need. It was clearly newly renovated, with a fresh and inviting atmosphere that made me feel comfortable right away. Location is also a huge plus! The hotel is conveniently situated just a short distance from the airport, making it incredibly easy to access. This is perfect for travelers looking for a hassle-free stay before or after a flight. I was pleasantly surprised by the affordable rates for such quality accommodation. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the area—excellent service, stylish rooms, and great value make it a fantastic choice!"

"This is definitely a 5 star hotel and we would recommend it for location and service, the only problem we had was at check in when we arrived at 4pm and were told that our room wasn’t ready and it would be another 1 hour to 1 and a half hour away, which was totally unacceptable as check in is at 3pm, the lady tried to upsell us to another room, not a free upgrade but to charge us the extra, I thought this was not on and as we had been travelling all day since 4am that morning, our room should have been ready, after we refused the upsell, suddenly told there is a room available in about 20 minutes but on a lower floor than we requested, we were still not happy and then suddenly another room appeared, also not on a high floor, we decided to take it as we were so tired, when we got to the room, it was not in a good viewing position, had a wall outside the window, we went back downstairs and this time I asked for the manager, Jack came to look after us and finally understood us, gave us a drink voucher and we sat in the lovely lounge area and had an ice cold drink and within 10-15 minutes Jack had gotten us a higher floor(as we had originally requested anyway) and helped us to our room, the view was uninterrupted and the room much better, Jack also sent some beers to our room to enjoy and was very apologetic, thank you Jack for your help. I didn’t want to write anything negative here because this is a lovely hotel and the Shangri-La group is normally very good, we have stayed many times in different places but I just had to mention that part because I don’t want other people who have been travelling all day to arrive and their room isn’t ready and to be told to wait longer its just not right. Everything else went smoothly and the facilities are great, swimming pool, location, cleanliness. Thanks again to Jack, lovely guy"

"I planed a small one night trip to Jimo, Narada hotel was a winderfull place with really good service. The ancient city is a fun zone, food, street singers and other games stands. Mia and Seven provided good services, the breakfast room and food were incredible, you also can choose a spécial pillow you like in the pillow menu. I highly recommand the expérience"

"Just little advice about the free shuttle service which should be more obvious showing the hotel name on the cab and clear instruction in regarding the exact place and time for the pick up at the airport. Other things like fast check in and polite staff is appreciated."

"Subject: Request for Room Change Delay – Service Improvement and Compensation Request Dear Westin Qingdao Team, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the room change request process I experienced today. I initially requested a room change for a better view, and despite waiting for over an hour, I did not receive any proper response or resolution. When I first arrived at my room, I found that one side of the view was almost entirely blocked by the neighboring building, which was not what I expected. I called the front desk to request a room change, but after 20 minutes with no response, I called again. I was told the team was checking on it. After waiting another 10 minutes without any follow-up, I called once more. The staff seemed to have difficulty communicating in English and repeated that they were still checking. Eventually, I was told that a room on the 16th floor might be available, and someone would come to show it to me. However, no one came. I waited again, then called once more about 10 minutes later, only to be told that the front desk was still confirming and that the new room would not be ready for another 30 minutes. At this point, I had already wasted nearly an hour of my time in Qingdao without any clarity on whether I could even change rooms. As a guest who chose your esteemed hotel for its reputation for excellent service, this experience has been highly disappointing. The lack of communication and inefficient handling of a simple request does not meet the standard expected from the Westin brand. I kindly request a formal explanation of this situation and an appropriate form of compensation for the inconvenience I experienced. I hope this matter will be addressed seriously to ensure a better guest experience going forward. Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to your prompt response. "We had chosen this hotel due to its location near the airport as well as the free airport shuttles. Though it is a bit remote and far away from city we took bus 27 (fare ¥2) to Jiaodong metro station to go most places of interest. Breakfast here has nothing to boast about. A short distance away has a 24hr family store and a few restaurants. We frequent a Yunam family restaurant next to the 24-hr store that cook family style dishes."

"Great location, top facilities and services. Our kids had great time there, in particular they loved the bunker bed, breakfast buffet and the swimming pools. Special shoutout to Xiao Shaolin 小邵who’s been really caring and helpful during our stay. We would definitely recommend this place to whoever plans to travel to Qingdao!"

"The overall quality of the hotel was up to spec with franchise standards, but the air conditioning in the room was far too weak - despite having it on the lowest possible temperature, it still failed to cool the room sufficiently. Definitely impacted my sleep quality."

"The service was impeccable! From start to finish, I was really well looked after. Qingdao is such a fantastic destination, made all the more pleasant by the great staff, expansive, comfortable, clean rooms at Crowne. Nice to have a swim in a pool that wasn't overwhelmed with chlorine. There were some other interesting facilities on -B2 level, but I ran out of time. Lovely restaurant on the 2nd floor, and also right next door to May 4th Square, which also has a shopping complex. Highly recommend this accommodation."
