Popular Guangzhou 4-star Hotels

I had stayed here many times before in previous years. It was always one of my favorite hotels when visiting Guangzhou. However the place has really gone downhill. The location is between Shipaiqiao and Gangding metro stations. It’s a great location as you’re on the Main Street for all the shopping malls and restaurants. You can also get a view of the Canton Tower from the room. The main entrance is behind the building. The lobby is beautiful. I use to be able to check in early (around noon) but not this time. Had to wait until 2pm. (No big deal) One of my favorite things about this hotel are the large spacious rooms. The bathrooms are huge as well. The TV’s have been upgraded since my last visit. But they removed the tv next to the bathtub. However things are falling apart. Stains, damage, moldy smell, urine smell in the bathroom, condom wrapper under the bed. And even with “do not disturb” on while we try to take a short rest, we have a cleaning lady banging on our door not remembering if the room had been cleaned or not. There is a fitness center, a spa, and restaurant, but we did not use any of those. Overall I’m disappointed. This hotel use to be one of my favorites in all of China and it’s sad to see this place go so down. Love the spacious rooms and location though

The hotel is not bad, my only negative was the breakfast was not great quality. Low grade coffee machine’s, too many queues to get and egg fried and average choice. The other thing is you hear the subway coming and going from the room so it’s a bit noisy. It may not be all the floors but my floor 15 was a victim. Generally service was good and facilities good. Oh , could not find iron in my room.

Great price for this location! Easy walk or bike ride to central locations including the opera house, bars and restaurants. Room is HUGE, modern and very clean. Shower is so nice!!! Would stay here again for sure.

Hotel has an old Chinese name for purposes of taxi drivers. The registration people were very friendly and polite。Location is convenient。Very near to Sha He （ wholesale clothing）and not far from Beijing Lu Room is large for 2 & bed large for2. 问recommend using this hotel！n

It’s standard hotel, with adequate western standards, room is clean, not old. Bad is comfortable. Breakfast is ok, but with very limited choice of western food. Coffee only one type

The hotel is well priced and conveniently located to Guangzhou East stations and several major malls. Not lacking in food options at all. The hotel has a well equipped modern gym and the bathrooms are well stocked with toiletries. It’s also good to see the rooms being very modern encompassing large TVs and USB C charging ports

Perfect hotel for our final (last stop) before heading home. Comfy bed, nice view, near to train station which connects to airport with just 1 transfer and going around the city. Rest and relax at the massage centre on level 7 and do your laundry foc at level 11. There is even iron there and cosy area for rest while waiting for the machine to do the magic.

This is the second time I have visited this Hotel.As always the facilities are excellent,especially the Gym,Jacuzzi,Sauna and indoor hot pool available for both genders.The personell are very hospitable.If I may give some constructive criticism, the lunch self help at the California Restaurant was a bit dissapointing.They should have more variety of meat,and fish.Last time there was Sushi available for dinner, however this time for lunch no Sushi.And lamb or pork or mutton as an extra meat dish.They should also have a dry white wine on the Wine List at a reasonable price.They can contact Me at ************************************* , and I will supply.

Good location, close to subways, convenient in all aspects, friendly staff. The laundry facility seems to be clouded on weekends because both foreigners and locals come to the same place. I enjoyed the breakfast offered at the hotel. It has a great variety of local dishes that I found delicious and satisfying.

Convenient hotel room facilities, set comfort and practicality as one. The staff is warm and thoughtful, and solves customer problems in a timely manner.
