Guangzhou Panyu District Hotels

Booked this for a friend. The room itself was quite clean. However, the cleanliness of the building's common areas was only average. The property management (Guangcheng) felt significantly inferior compared to the standards of places like Tianhe City. On a positive note, the front desk staff was quite good and very considerate of guests' needs.

I'd been meaning to visit Chimelong Guangzhou since last year, but the timing never worked out. This year, I made sure to book well in advance. Upon arrival, we took a taxi directly to the hotel; the journey was about an hour. When we arrived at the lobby to check in, we were lucky enough to catch a performance and even got to take photos with some panda mascots. We booked the Prince Family Room, which came with a small bed – perfect for kids. Most of the theme parks are conveniently located around the hotel. Happy World is just a few minutes' walk, and the Safari Park is easily accessible by bus. The Bird Park, however, is a bit further out. For dining, there's a food court and a buffet downstairs. The breakfast selection was extensive, and the food was delicious. The kids' play area opens at noon. If you're not going out, children can enjoy themselves there. It's not a huge space, but children under 1.3 meters can access it with their room card. The service was excellent, and the environment was very pleasant.

This is our second visit to Chimelong Guangzhou with our child. It's a fantastic family-friendly hotel with a well-designed layout, a wide range of activities, and convenient facilities. Upon checking in at the lobby, we finalized our two-day, two-night activity schedule right at the front desk. Booking tickets was easy, and the service was warm and welcoming. The room was spacious and very comfortable, equipped with special toiletries, slippers, and bathrobes for children. Our child participated in face painting in the lobby, received plenty of balloons, and interacted daily with the tiger mascots and clowns, having an absolutely wonderful time! The room package included two complimentary tickets to the Kids' Fun Park, which our child adored. The outdoor swimming pool is complimentary for hotel guests. We dined at the White Tiger Restaurant, where we enjoyed breakfast with views of white tigers and beautiful flamingos. The restaurant also features a small animal show and a mini children's play area, which was a lifesaver, allowing parents to relax and enjoy a good meal. Definitely worth every penny! Kirin Restaurant and the adjacent tea restaurant both offer delicious Cantonese cuisine, along with kid's meal options. We explored the hotel's shops and visited the Water Park, which has a dedicated, very convenient entrance for hotel guests. Our child had a blast! We also visited the Safari Park; from the lobby, it's just one shuttle bus stop to the South Gate, which was extremely convenient. A special shout-out to the Sky Band performance at the lobby bar. Both their songs and instrumental performances were brilliant. Children could enjoy ice cream and small cakes, while adults could choose alcoholic beverages or coffee. The ambiance was beautiful, quiet, and very comfortable. We made it a point to visit every night before bed; it was truly a delightful experience!

Overall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) I stayed at the Radisson Red Guangzhou South Station for a short business trip and was very impressed overall. The hotel is ideally located just minutes from Guangzhou South Railway Station, which makes it perfect for travellers catching high-speed trains. I booked a King Room, which was spacious and modern, with what appeared to be two double beds joined together, still very comfortable. The interior feels fresh and new, and my 30th-floor room offered a spectacular city view, especially at night. The restaurant downstairs was good, offering a few halal-friendly options (mostly plant-based alternatives). Having a mall and a 7/11 on the ground floor was a huge convenience for snacks and essentials, ideal for anyone on a tight schedule. One small issue: I had arranged a 2PM late checkout with reception the day before. However, on the day itself, I received a call from a staff member using a translator device who bluntly said I’d be charged if I didn’t leave by 2PM. While I understand the policy, the tone came across as unnecessarily sharp. It could have been phrased more courteously, such as explaining they needed to prepare the room for the next guest. This is a small training point for the front-desk team. Overall, it was a pleasant and efficient stay, clean, modern, well-located, and comfortable. With a bit more polish in staff communication, the Radisson Red Guangzhou South could easily deserve a perfect 5-star rating.

Friendly staff. Excellent location nearby to food, subway and direct bus to Hongkong. Hotel room was a bit old. Breakfast was average, as some food was not fresh. No self laundry.

Our whole family had an amazing stay at Bo Ke Xin Zhu Hotel! The location is absolutely prime, with two subway lines right downstairs, making travel incredibly convenient. Tourist attractions and shopping districts are all just a stone's throw away. The air conditioning was a true lifesaver – even during the scorching summer days, the room was instantly cool, and the kids even joked about needing jackets! The room itself was surprisingly spacious; it easily accommodated two adults and two children without feeling cramped. The bedding was clean and comfortable. The service was thoughtful and attentive; the front desk proactively offered children's puzzles and local tips. The value for money was exceptional. Compared to other hotels in the same area, the price was very reasonable while maintaining high quality, and the cleanliness was impeccable down to the smallest detail. Our three-day stay was absolutely fantastic, truly fulfilling our desire to 'stay in a great place without breaking the bank.' I absolutely give it a five-star recommendation and will definitely book this hotel again on our next visit!

The location is fantastic – a parking lot, shopping mall, and an abundance of dining choices are all just downstairs. Plus, there's a cinema, coffee shops, and milk tea spots, ensuring you have everything you need. The hotel's environment is spotless and comfortable, and the rooms are wonderfully cozy. A self-service laundry room is also available, which is very convenient! For those who prefer to stay in, room service is offered at reasonable prices and is a great option. I chose the 'Pure Suite' this time, and it even had an air purifier, which is a huge bonus for anyone sensitive to air quality. This is definitely a place I'd revisit multiple times!

We brought our kids to Chimelong. Due to the hot weather, we skipped the other parks and only visited the Water Park. Staying at this hotel was very convenient for getting to Chimelong by taxi. Dining options are plentiful nearby. There's a night market right next to the hotel, perfect for sampling various snacks in the evening, along with a few dessert shops. About a kilometer away, there's a shopping mall with a Hong Kong-style cafe that our kids really enjoyed. The hotel itself offers a pleasant environment. It's equipped with a washing machine, which was incredibly convenient for doing laundry during our trip. Moreover, the room had ample hanging space for clothes – a very thoughtful design. The hotel lobby offers complimentary self-serve snacks and beverages. The breakfast quality was also quite good. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for family trips.

Location: 9/10 The location is excellent, just 7-10 minutes from the major shopping mall area. On your way back to the hotel, you'll find plenty of restaurants and convenience stores. Service: 9.5/10 While the room's air conditioning was a bit too warm during our three-day stay, the hotel staff consistently checked in on us and sent two technicians to resolve the issue. The housekeeping team also provided a fan without us needing to ask. Facilities: 7.5/10 The indoor swimming pool was under maintenance during our stay. Room Size: 10/10 The room size is excellent, more than enough for a family. The Kuanrong Suite Hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to the subway station and just a few minutes' walk from shopping centers like Sihai City, Tianhe City, and Wanda Plaza. Upon arrival for check-in, we were personally escorted to our room and offered a refreshing lemonade. This lemonade was exceptionally delicious – highly recommended! It had Sprite in it, which made it extra refreshing and tasty. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was wonderfully soft and comfortable. Overall, a great experience! **Highlight Features:** The breakfast buffet every morning was a highlight, featuring a delightful array of Cantonese specialties such as steamed chicken feet, char siu bao (BBQ pork buns), and Ma Lai Gao (Cantonese sponge cake). The selection of congee was also extensive, ensuring we enjoyed something new each day. After meals, the attentive staff would always see us off with a warm smile, even accompanying us to the elevator. Another delightful touch was the different 'tangshui' (traditional Cantonese sweet soup dessert) served every night; during our four-night stay, no two were the same! Our entire family eagerly looked forward to this sweet treat each evening, haha. The genuine thoughtfulness of the service was truly evident throughout our stay. The suite design itself was excellent, perfectly suited for families traveling with both older and younger children. Furthermore, the staff were not only professional but also exceptionally warm, friendly, and approachable. **Cleanliness:** The room was meticulously cleaned, and complimentary bottled water was readily available.
