If you do not plan for hotel pool activities in GZ, this is a highly recommended quieter place to stay; which is conveniently located 3-5km from the Tien He Central area (Zheng Jia Mall). Walking distance to a local foodie street and also some good up class restaurants around. Opposite of Tien He park for walking and exercise.
Rental car is easy to access, waiting time is fast compared to the busy area and the fare is reasonable in GZ to travel around.
The front-line is welcoming and friendly. Specific compliment to Ms. Angela which demonstrated very helpful during our stays for enquiries.
Room is nicely designed (clean & no non-sense) and comfortable. Some might not used to the “semi open” concept of the washroom area, separating by blinds and tinted sliding glass door for space saving design purposes. Window with good lighting and could open for small angle for air changing which is good, A/C is good.
Breakfast varieties is good, slightly more than semi-international type with good local style.
For me, surely will visit again for business travels and leisure family trip in GZ.
Keep up the good affordable Marriott standard!

Very clean rooms, breakfast is great and they have lots or western options as well as Chinese . The service is exceptional - they made sure we were comfortable and allowed us to check out abit later since our flight was later in the day. Very lovely lady at the front dest desk

Had a good stay at the Fairfield by Marriott Guangzhou Tianhe Park. Check in was easy. Complimentary bottled water and full Western and Chinese breakfast every day. Helpful staff who could communicate in Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua) and English.

I stayed at this hotel for Canton Fair. they have shuttle bus service to the exhibit (about 15 min) which is quite convinient. Good breakfast. Wifi didn't worked in my room (6th floor)
