Great location, has an underground parking which is very convenient if you’re traveling by car. Breakfast was good, rooms were a bit old but clean

Great location right next to old town Ghent. Big room and clean. Good breakfast and friendly service. Parking is very expensive though at €40 per night. Otherwise it's a great hotel

Great location, great and helpful front desk, but house keeping was rather unclean / weird. I was still getting ready to leave my room, wearing my winter jacket and shoes etc, when the house keeping just entered the room and started cleaning the room straight away without giving me a little privacy before i leave. I was very uncomfortable and confused at that moment.

The Marriott Hotel in Ghent is located next to the River Leith and offers stunning scenery both morning and night! It is highly recommended to book a river view room The hotel costumes are very good, the only drawback is that bottled water is not available for unlimited free

Very convenient central location, all attractions are within half an hour

The hotel service is average but the room price is expensive! We encountered a little trouble when checking in at the hotel. The staff didn't seem to know that we had paid online and asked us to provide our credit card with a prepaid room rate of about 539 euros. As a result, our credit card was rejected by the bank and the transaction was blocked. Apart from this problem, we booked a room for 3 people, but the hotel only provides facilities for 2 people, such as bottles of water, cups, etc. When making a complaint, the staff told me that you can proactively ask the hotel to provide it. What kind of service is this? 1

I was deeply impressed by this hotel. The rooms were clean and tidy, the staff was warm and thoughtful, and the location was very convenient, making it an ideal choice for traveling. Front Office Yante was very helpful and provided us with detailed information about attractions near the hotel.

The river view room is great value, and the location is great. The view of both sides of the Vanilla River from the window every day is amazing. The cruise ticket office is a 1-minute walk from the back door of the hotel. Anyway, all the attractions can be reached on foot. I really recommend it!
