First World Hotel Genting has Excellent central location and all the adventure happening at one place. From indoor theme park outdoor theme park cable car and alot of dinning options. We as a family booked 02 rooms. Beds were comfortable and soft. Room size is too small but we have enjoyed alot.
The only issue is Check in process which can take upto 3 - 4 hours waiting time.

Its superb.Our room was small and has no small fridge and electric kettle but water dispenser was available outside, so its okay.

Ver bad room and furniture, long queue when check in almost 2 hours to get my room
The picture in trip app totally different from the hotel ( Deloux room) . I recommend to choose another place like Wyndham Hotels & Resorts or the one next to it , just less than 10 minutes drive to genting mall and then park

Booked the hotel as it was near Arena of Stars for a concert. The check in time was 3.00 pm but there was something like 300+ people in line with numbers for check in. Had to do a self check in instead which took an hour plus. No hotel parking for guests, was charged RM 11 for an overnight stay. Expected more from Genting Group. Disappointed

Room was clean, tidy and comfort, but toilet was so small while amenities only 2 towel and 2 soap, but for check in, if there is a problem for check in, must que veeerryyyyy long line and hours just for assistant check in solve the problem like I have 2 room to check in, but only one can check in and another one can not, so need to que although in hurry for enter skyworld theme park, room was okay but service need improve, tq😊

Absolute disaster, not booking thru Genting resort, will result in needing a front desk check in. There is 7300+ rooms but only 3-5 counters working. You will need to wait for yr turn to be serve and it took me more than 5hrs and I heard another guest said he waited for 8hrs during peak hours. Now is the room, there are no view from the windows , you can open it slightly but be prepared for foul smell n noise, oops there are no air conditioning n you might think is cold n you don’t need to open the window but due to global warming the temperature is around 24deg in the night and without ventilation or aircon it get stuffy. Not recommended for seniors. My advise is, only get the room with window facing the Mountain View n not the building wall. I guess all knew that the room is small n old, dirty beds n walls. My final advice is don’t stay first world unless you have a high level of tolerance or wanna try the limits of your blood pressure. Worst experience ever!!!!

The location was excellent, conveniently situated right by the theme parks and easily accessible to everything. The staff were helpful and friendly and the check-out process was easy.

1. **Check-in:** It would be beneficial to have signage or step-by-step instructions available for customers. The wait was frustrating, especially since not all counters were open despite many being available.
2. **Breakfast:** The breakfast was located in the Grand Hotel, and we had to walk quite a distance to find it without proper signage or directions. There is a café in the lobby, so it is unclear why the breakfast location had to be so far away from the hotel. Ultimately, we gave up on breakfast both days.
3. **Value for Money:** Absolutely not. The price was quite high for very basic accommodations. It felt like paying for a £50 room in London, which was extremely basic.
4. **Room:** The room was small and basic for the price we paid. I stayed on Level 24 (which had an additional charge), and while I had a window, it faced another room. The room was labeled “Non-Smoking,” but both the room and the blanket smelled of cigarette smoke.
5. **Line Coverage:** Wi-Fi was only available in the lobby and mobile coverage was very limited on my floor.
6. **Amenities:** Amenities were basic. The TV was small with limited channels, the towels were very thin and there was no iron available.
Overall, while the location was good, the experience was not worth the price.

✔ **Central Location** – Connected to SkyAvenue Mall, Genting SkyWorlds, and casinos.
✔ **Lots of Food Options** – Many restaurants & fast food nearby.
✔ **Good for Short Stays** – If you just need a place to sleep, it works.
#### **👎 Cons:**
❌ **Tiny Rooms** – Extremely cramped, especially for families (like a budget capsule hotel).
❌ **Noise Issues** – Thin walls, loud hallways, and sometimes noisy neighbors.
❌ **Worn-Out Facilities** – Old furniture, stained carpets, and outdated bathrooms.
❌ **Slow Elevators** – Long waits during peak hours.
❌ **Inconsistent Hot Water** – Some guests report no hot water in showers.

cleanliness : bedsheet has stains, pillow case smelled like oil, toilet seat has stains.
facilities : hair dryer will cut off after less than a min use due to over heating at high heat. Have to wait abt 15mins before u can use again at low heat & will take forever to dry your long hair.
bad : stay more than 3 nights, u will have to check in at counter & it's a min 2hrs wait & u need to reactivate ur room card on 3rd day (another wait at counter).

Best location as it’s close to theme park. Check in process is easy and breezy as they provide many self check in service kiosk. However downsides are the room is too small for the price, not too clean, no drinking water provided, no ac only fan. When the weather is hot, the fan is not sufficient. They have many charging plugs which was good. Check out process was very efficient though. U just insert cards into the machine and done.

The hotel was average overall. It was cooling, which made the stay somewhat comfortable, but basic amenities like toothbrushes, cotton buds, and other essentials weren’t provided, which was a bit inconvenient.
We mainly visited the area to attend the Heineken Refresh Event at Resorts World Awana, which was perfectly organized and very enjoyable. We also managed to visit the French Village, which was a lovely experience.
However, transportation back to the hotel after the event was a major issue. Despite the official announcement that the cable car would operate longer hours, we were denied tickets at the counter even though we arrived before 1am. That part was quite frustrating and poorly managed.
Overall, it was a mixed experience—some highlights, but also some logistical letdowns.

Issues with booking , tried several self check-in machine and all returned same errors. So I am forced to take queue number to go in counter to solve it. About 300 numbers ahead and it spent me 5 hours waiting time to be served. It disrupted my plan and also not able to use the complimentary indoor theme park ticket. Room is basic, only tissue , toilet roll and all-in-one shampoo provided. Toothbrush and toothpaste etc will be charged if needed. At the end checking in late and yet have to checkout before 11am to avoid additional charge again. What an unpleasant trip.

I need to queue up for 1 hour & 40 minutes to register. There's a staff to help to key in my personal particular before I can proceed to other machine to take room key. According to the FWH staff, I book through 3rd party & 3rd party didn't provide my detail to the hotel. It was a very terrible service. We paid such an expensive room rate for worst service.
