Great location, right on the beach. The staff were very friendly and also allowed me to check in early. I wasn’t feeling too well and the manager Mohan got me some medicine and hot water which was really nice. Great experience, would recommend

This is the first review I've ever written, as I'm trying to protect other vacationers from such an experience. Please don't visit this hotel! The accommodation was full of mold, so we didn't spend a night there. We checked out straight away after we were assured that we would get our money back. Even after asking for a refund several times, we didn't get it back. In my opinion, the owner is a criminal.

Hotel was so nice. Rooms are also as per the pictures. The only issue is with the bathroom, which is stinking slightly after closing it for 10 minutes. Staff were so nice and friendly.

Cockroaches at the rooms. Very conjugated room. No Security personnel. Water flow is very low in the washroom. Flash is not working properly.

Nice little Hotel directly at the beach

Very dirty and small room. Ant colonies and dirt everywhere. We were bitten very badly by ants. Dirty walls, dirty towels, dirty floor! It smells of dampness. We were shocked by what we saw. The photos were taken after the room was cleaned. We were offered to change the room, but everything was the same there and the toilet did not work. Everything looks beautiful in the photo, but in real life it is terribly dirty, even after cleaning. The hotel also rents a surf for 1000 rupees, and in a nearby cafe for 500 rupees. Even when renting a hotel room, there are no discounts on the surf. I definitely do not recommend this hotel.

Not a bad hotel, but I lost 100 dollars in my room, perhaps this is the saddest moment of the trip, well located by the ocean, and you can go surfing nearby, not very convenient to get to the airport

Great location and on a lovely beach, the rooms are clean and modern with great views, food is really good, but overall the people who run / work here are wonderful. Highly recommend it as a place to stay in Galle if you are visiting Sri Lanka.

I was in STAR room with an incredible balcony and views. A lovey hot shower although the only toiletries was a bar of soap. No water, kettle, tea or coffee supplied but the room wasn't advertised as having these so just bring your own. I loved it here and I'll be back for sure. I was there for BBQ night. The meal was a true work of art. I almost felt ashamed to eat it. Great hidden gem.

We chose Villa Surf Beach to spend our New Year holidays. We have never regretted it! The restaurant is just amazing. The ocean view, the sizes and taste of the food, cozy atmosphere, and super friendly and welcoming stuff... Best days! Definitely want to come back again. The rooms are also beautiful. Clean and tidy. I love how both the restaurant and the villa are made with the same design elements. Love the arts on the wall and wooden handmade furniture. Stylish and elegant. The location is very сonvinient. FoodCity supermarket is just across the road. And from the villa, you can get to Galle Fort for just 5-10 minutes! The Dewata beach is perfect for surfing, feels like a private place and is not so crowded as Weligama. Already want to come back again :)
