Nothing but “Pure Perfection” From Miss Xiao Guo at the Front Desk, House Keeping and the Security Team made our stay at Lakeside truly memorable. Highly Recommended.

This hotel has held up well for it's age, as it is well maintained. The facilities and service personnel are definitely top-notched. Sleep quality was great. So was the food offerings at the Horizon Floor. However we are not thrilled by the location of the hotel. The adjoining shopping was easily accessible, but the 2 subway lines were quite a distance walk. Would certainly stay again if we are back.

We booked a room for our 15 year wedding anniversary. When we went into our first room it had a very odd smell. I went to discuss the situation with Grace, the front desk manager. She was more than accommodating, upgraded our room, gave us a fruit platter and also allowed us access to the executive lounge for happy hour. She more than made up for our original room problem. And her English was excellent. The hotel pool was great and it is right across the street from a mall with lots of restaurants. It was a good stay!

We were welcomed by 阮晓城 at the reception counter and he was very hospitable and warm! Check-in process is very smooth and he assisted us to ensure that we get all 4 rooms on the same floor. Room is cosy and breakfast buffet spread is very sumptuous!

The hotel is centrally located with easy access to public transportations, such as buses, train stations, and the subway, the famous hot spring park is nearby. There are abundance of restaurants within a short walking distance. While the hotel amenities may not have been updated to five-star standards, it was clean and spacious enough for a comfortable stay. The breakfast selection was great. The check-in process and English communication were easy. Overall, I found this hotel to be a fantastic value for the price.

Great location great hotel! Staff can't speak English. Beds were so soft and comfy. Rooms were spacious. Laundry room is excellent with dryers, washers and steamer. When we didn't retrieve our clothes in time, staff helped us fold some of our laundry and placed it all in a bag. Love that there were non-smoking rooms. Finally can sleep without the lingering hint of smoke in my nostrils. So close to the mall and the cute pedestrian zone. Tons of options for food and shopping. The hotel provides you with so many water bottles! Really appreciate it as this city gets super hot.

My friend came to Fuzhou from another place. The hotel has very convenient transportation. It is a 10-minute walk to the subway station and bus station. It is very convenient to go anywhere. The robot is very cute, the front desk staff is warm and generous, the recommended attractions are very good, and the jasmine tea in the lobby is great! [Strong][Strong]

The hotel is in a good location, right by the river, about a 10-minute walk from the subway entrance. There are shared bicycles and taxis, which are very convenient. The decoration style is relatively new, but the facilities are quite complete. The staff is warm and helpful.

The first room given to be had strong smoking smell , probably left by the previous customer. Seem the hotel claim itself to be smoke free , they should take serious step to clean up the room before releasing. However the front desk was very helpful and make a change immediately without much question. I also seen cigarette butt in the main lobby and saw someone walking freely with cigarettes while the lobby staff try to be polite and ask him to stop without success. The hotel should provide a better training and protection to their staff in handling such cases. Other than this , services are up to their 5 star standard. It will be my top 2 choice when in town.

I stayed here to attend an event which took place in the hotel. It is located in a newly developing area in Changle district of Fuzhou city. Development is still going on so there are lots of barely finished constructions and the roads are broad and very quiet. It is convenient staying here if you have something to do in this area or want to stay in a nice hotel close to the airport (only 25 mins drive). It is 60 kms (1 hour by car) from here to Fuzhou city with its tourist attractions, so as a tourist you may prefer to stay closer to the city centre. The hotel is very modern and newly opened. It offers all the facilities you expect from a five-star-hotel. My room was very nice and spacious. Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant every morning and is mainly Chinese style, but toast and croissants were on offer, too. It would be great if they had somebody on duty any time who can communicate with guests who do not speak Chinese.
