Fukuoka Hotels with Pools

Firstly location is not convenient to hang around the city area. But pros is so obvious and undeniable. It's quite far from famous spots but exceptionally cozy and quiet and hotel room is spacious enough comparing to another hotels. You can take a stroll to Momochi beach on foot from hotel easily. If you are good at walking, I don't think you can't go to subway station on foot. Yes, takes some time but you can feel relaxing on the way to station. cons is one thing. Indoor swimming pool is not good for swimmer, it's 3 lanes only and always occupied by lessons or seniors who is just walking around in the water. Just next to hotel is baseball stadium, if you are a big fan of baseball, you can't miss Japanese pro baseball game there. It's unforgettable memory to kids and family, I m sure.

Good room service and helpful customer services. They helped to order Omakase for us for local Japanese restaurant. Welcome drink good quality. Spa good hygiene with supply of towels, no need to use room towels which earned high satisfaction. However, set breakfast rather than buffet breakfast which was beyond our expectations. 4 set breakfast not much choices during our 7 days stay in hotel. Food left behind most of time due to over size or food not fit the taste. Always food wasting occurred for customers. Will not choose this hotel again if still set breakfast. Anyway Miyako Hotel still earns high rating overall and will be suggested to our friends.

Swimming pool is great, even has swim cap and googles for you to borrow.  Breakfast restaurant has a good spread and has mentaiko toast!  the smoothie fridge is nice with ingredients in the smoothie presented. In the room, overall it's nice, but small details that made a difference for me was [1] not enough places to hang towels or clothes in bathroom (ex. having more hooks on the wall), and [2] the chair at the writing desk is VERY heavy, and I'm pretty strong, but it feels like it is bolted to the floor.  

This is the most disgusting and despicable thing any hotel management can do is to chase my father off the premises when he was waiting quietly for me downstairs to have breakfast. I am staying with my mother in this hotel and since they’re not together anymore, my father decided to wait for me at the quiet third floor banquet. I was just getting ready to meet my father when the security manager and his team of security threatened my father with Police to arrest him! To which my father replied that his lawyer will sue them for malicious prosecution! Since he was just quietly sitting at the sofa waiting for his son to come down! Not having issues. Eventually, my father removed himself from the hotel but yet; the security manager was physically manhandling my father while at the lobby by grabbing his arm even though he was walking normally! The security manager was just trying to create a scene with my father. DO NOT STAY HERE! These people here are vile and vindictive in their demeanours! Totally unprofessional and have no work ethics! No services from the heart ❤️ They are a total disgrace to the hospitality industry! Definitely not a 5 Star Hotel in services but more like a putrid fish market!

There is also a pool in summer, outdoor cinema at night, fireworks on weekends, and I think it is the best for children and couples. Japanese restaurants are also delicious. It seems that there is nothing in winter, but there is an outdoor sauna, so I think I should open it without paying, and in winter, I would like to make the pool a natural cold bath and advertise it for sale in winter ... There is also a sauna in the large communal bath However, it is a pity that there is no cold bath or well-equipped space. The sauna, cold bath, and the scenery are good, so it would be nice to have a veranda outside and have a well-equipped space. In winter, what about a space where you can bake marshmallows, drink cocoa, and relax around it for a big campfire? I'm looking forward to it because it's a good facility.

If you are on a business trip, it is a downtown area in the center of Fukuoka city! This hotel can occupy the gorgeous Fukuoka tower alone if you walk a little, and in the daytime walk, you can taste the lower town of Nishi Shin, but it is not like Fukuoka, but it is a fashionable Fukuoka that is not different from Fukuoka The local people are lamenting I have a very good impression.

The inside and outside of the building and the facilities themselves do not feel as clean as new. However, the cleanliness of the rooms inside is very good, and the structure and area are more convenient and spacious than other Japanese accommodations, so it is very good for 2-3 people to stay. In addition to the amenities in the accommodation, gargles, washcloths, etc. are provided free of charge without any quantity limit so that you can use as much as you need, and the swimming pool and sauna can also be used. It seems that the sauna can be used without a separate additional fee, and the internal facilities did not look bad (however, they said that you can use it after wearing a swimsuit, so if you need it, I recommend bringing a separate swimsuit). It is quite far from the busy Hakata/Tenjin area, but it takes about 15 minutes by taxi/28 minutes by JR, so if you have plenty of time, you can look around the Hakozaki area where the hotel is located and visit Hakata on another day. There is a local mart that locals use, 7-8 minutes walk from the accommodation. It has a lot of products like Donki, from alcohol to daily necessities, and groceries, and the prices are quite cheap, so it was great to buy souvenirs or food for gifts. Don Quijote Hakozaki is also located in a very large Q-mo, 2 minutes walk away, right across from the accommodation. If you walk about 10 minutes to the other side of the accommodation, there is a second-hand goods shop called Mangasoko, which is about 100 pyeong wide, so it is great for shopping. If you go into the alley behind or below the accommodation, there are many good value omakase sushi restaurants, bars, and cocktail shops, so it seems like a great choice for those who want to travel quietly. Above all, the hotel staff is very friendly, and they even print out Korean guides for you, so you won't have any problems using them. When I went to Hakata two weeks ago, there were so many Koreans that I wondered if they were Korean or Japanese, but when I traveled to Hakozaki this time, it felt like a completely local place, so it was a very refreshing experience. There is no shortage of shopping centers/restaurants/hospitals/gyms/etc. near the accommodation, and it was so quiet and peaceful. (However, since the airport is close, there are planes flying in every 10 minutes. Those who are sensitive to airplane noise, please take note.) If I go to Hakozaki again, I will stay at Japanisk. It does seem that With The Style Fukuoka (henceforth referred to as ”WTS”) draws inspiration from the ”W” chain of hotels, due to the property catering to a younger, hipper demographic. It's an intimate property with just 16 rooms total, although it seems much more lively than that due to the restaurants and bar being accessible to non-staying guests (which makes this more of a hotel than a ryokan for sure.) The lighting is on the dark side, and the common areas have music piped in, and staff members are generally in their 20s and 30s. Everyone is all smiles and eager to please, although at times there can be mistakes in their order taking (at the restaurant), and in their knowledge of the local area (or lack thereof.) Otherwise, it's a pleasant place to pass the time if you're in Fukuoka. It's tucked away in a secluded area - it's not far away from the center, although it's not exactly within walking distance. The property has a garden in the center, which serves as a communal area for drinking, dining and socializing. We dined in Cotton, WTS's Italian Restaurant, which was decent but not amazing. We also had Japanese breakfast in the morning, which was also adequate but it took way too long for us to be served. We stayed in one of their Suite rooms, which - at 53 square meters - is generously sized compared to standard rooms but merely acceptable by high-end Suite standards. If you're looking for massive rooms, WTS does not have any, so please keep that in mind. The room itself was reasonably well maintained, although we would suggest they update some of the technologies and amenities, especially given their target customer. For instance, the curtains were of the old fashioned, pull-the-string variety - they really should make it all electronic with black-out capabilities. The room key is also a classic... key. How about something cooler, like face or eye recognition, if you're going after the younger clientele? Finally, we were surprised at the WiFi speeds. While it was usable, it was not exactly lightning fast - a no-no for a big city luxury hotel. On the plus side, they were generous with the free minibar offerings, and the noise insulation appeared to be pretty good.. we slept quite well here. With its hipster vibe catering to the young, fashionable and rich, it's definitely not for everyone. And as a hotel, it's a decent but not great value. Will we choose to stay here again? Possibly, but not until we've tried some of the other options in Fukuoka first.

The surrounding area felt more like a place where locals live than a tourist destination, so it felt like I was really traveling in Japan.

20 meters away under the window overlooking the room was the Genkai Sea's blue sea and pure white waves.The soft sound of the sea that could be heard all the way to the room was a blissful time that made you forget about your daily life. It was an inn for adults, a couple's inn, that made me feel like I wanted to sit on the sofa by the window and stare at the ocean with my wife all day long, without the need for a TV or radio. As we had booked a cheap meal plan, we had a buffet for breakfast and dinner, but even then, for elderly people like us, there wasn't enough food for us to eat, including sashimi, grilled fish, fried foods, turban shells, fruits, bread, cakes, and more. It may be a limited edition, but in addition to miso soup, Hakata zōni was also available. What impressed me the most was that even though it was such a large hotel, everything inside the hotel, including the outside garden, lobby, rooms, hallways, and public bath, was neat and clean, and as I was leaving, my wife said, ``I want to come again.'' I shook my head and thought so from the bottom of my heart.
