Junk. Everything is dirty I had rice on night stands. Bathtub had huge chips. Smelled funny. Front dest help worthless. Swimming pool looked like it had scum on the bottom brown. Towla smelled like dirty dish water.

The first room looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in months. There were BUGS, hair and crumbs all over the floor. I went to the front desk to tell them. The guy just sat there and stared at me, never asked what I needed/wanted. All he responded with was I can switch your room. The second room was still dirty, not vacuumed, full strands of hair in the bathroom, rusty washers on the floor was not a nice touch in decor. It was terrible.

the poo looked a little scummy on the bottom but we didn't swim so can't say for sure. room was okay breakfast was good their deposit policy is crap though. nearly triple the room rate was withheld from my account for almost two weeks
Response from Property: thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. we apologize if there was any inconvenience caused due to the incidental hold on your card. it is an industry standard practice to hold an amount for incidentals during your stay which gets returned back on your card once we process the sale. the amount of time it takes for the funds to go back onto your card is entirely dependent on the type of card used and on your card issuers processing time - as per the information we have ideally on a credit card it takes 3-5 business days and on a debit card it can take up to 10 business days - all these timings are dependent on your card providers processing times. in case you require the funds to be available to you sooner than the timings stated it is suggested that you contact your card provider, and they can expedite the process time. thank you.

Great and clean Hotel. Price was very affordable. And customer service is great. Everything was in place for me when I arrived and I got booked in in no time. I definitely will stay again at this hotel plus they have a good breakfast

The check in process was nice and easy the front desk clerk was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. You cannot beat the deal for the rate for what we needed for a last minute funeral for the family.

Had an excellent time this place was clean and friendly I will be staying again next time I'm in town. I Also enjoyed the indoor pool and spa as well as the laundry facility Also it's right in town where there's plenty of shopping as well as restaurants. Thanks Baymont BY Windom

I want to thank Jessica for her great service in doing her magic in re-arranging rooms to accommodate 2 additional guests with their own rooms in what was a sold-out hotel for a week during the Iowa Womens State Softball Tournament week. One of the other two guests had their room cancelled without notice at a nearby hotel and the other was going to have to go an hour away to Ames, so Jessica went above and beyond to get them in to the Baymont I cannot thank Jessica and the staff at the Baymont enough for their excellent work and hospitality, just superior customer service. The team at the nearby Marshall's store genuinely appreciates it. Thank You!

The room was clean. There was an odor in the room not sure what it was - probably the AC unit. The beds are always to firm for me. One thing I wish they would change - install comfort height toilets. Otherwise it was fine.
