I recently stayed at a hotel near the ancient town of Fenghuang, and it was the perfect base for exploring this beautiful, historic area. The location was excellent—just a short walk from the riverside and the heart of the old town, where all the vibrant shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions are located. Despite being so close to the action, the hotel was tucked away enough to offer a peaceful and quiet stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities. I especially enjoyed the comfortable bed, high-quality linens, and the rainfall shower in the bathroom. There was also a cozy seating area and a private balcony, offering lovely views of the town and the surrounding river. Little touches like complimentary tea and snacks made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice for its prime location and excellent room amenities, offering both convenience and comfort for anyone visiting Fenghuang.

It is good location if wish to stay slightly away from the crowded and noisy center. Important note that there is no lift available but it is still a decent stay at affordable price.

First off nobody knew exactly where this place is...not even the noodle shop right next door. I will post a picture of the noodle place and the Hotel.LOL Unfortunately the one bad review I saw was correct. It does not really feel like entering a professionally run Hotel as nobody pays attention to you and people are just hanging out casually in the lobby area. Although the rooms are matching the photos, it does not have a nice feel to it since there are many odd construction errors. In the evening the noise from the street is extreme. It was as noisy as being in the middle of New Delhi India! The bedding was clean and the bed comfortable but I would not chose this Hotel again.

Great location. We took a taxi from high speed train station, it cost only 22.5 CNY, taxi stopped in front of the hotel. Further more, the hotel located near the river and main attractions within few minutes walk and far enough from noise.The hotel room was very clean with comfy bed. The owner was very nice and helpful ,she tried to help us to buy train tickets which we could not buy online. Thanks.

We upgraded to a family room, which was very nice, clean, spacious, and the service was thoughtful and meticulous. When I checked out, the staff patiently asked about my accommodation experience. This kind of attention to guests was very touching. In short, it is a very good hotel.

The hotel has poor sanitary conditions. The first room assigned to us was not cleaned and smelled of cooking fumes. The next room we moved to was equally dirty, with combs and cotton swabs leaking out. The bathroom floor drain was severely clogged and the water didn't drain. The decoration was damaged in many places and parking was far away. The only thing was the front desk service was acceptable and it was convenient to walk to the river.

The hotel is located in the upper reaches of the ancient town. It has not entered the scenic spot yet, but it is also a more prosperous section. Therefore, the biggest disadvantage of this street-side location is that it is noisy. You can still hear horns frequently at more than three o'clock in the morning. Street shops start to open at six or seven in the morning, which affects rest. Because the streets in the ancient town are very narrow, the hotel parking lot is super far away, and it is very inconvenient to drive and park. This hotel is called a hotel, but it is more like a homestay. Some disadvantages of homestays are: unclean hygiene (dust and hair can be seen everywhere on the ground, and the pillow skin and quilt cover are stained), simple equipment (the shower water is very small, the washbasin is very shallow and is actually outside, disposable bath towels), and narrow rooms. The advantages of homestays (viewing) are not there. The room fee of less than 600 yuan is a room worth more than 100 yuan. I can only say that there is a pit on the 11th. We stayed for two days and asked for a simple cleaning on the second day. As a result, we didn’t even lay the quilt for us. The toilet paper thrown outside the bathroom was still there. They took out the garbage and gave us new toothbrushes and bath towels. It was considered clean! ! The hair on the ground was everywhere and no one swept it. Alas... the only thing I can praise is that the boss is quite enthusiastic. There is an old-fashioned washing machine and laundry detergent on the top floor for washing and hanging clothes. Although it is very busy during the National Day holiday, the overall treatment of tourists is really perfunctory. Not recommended for those who have some requirements for accommodation!

From the moment I stepped into the door of this hotel, I was surrounded by a feeling of being at home. The front desk staff had a warm and professional smile, and the check-in process was quick and efficient, which instantly relieved the fatigue of the journey. When I entered the guest room, the neat and elegant space layout came into view, and every detail revealed the pursuit of quality. The mattress was moderately soft and the pillow selection was rich, ensuring a good night's sleep.

The location is very good, and it is very convenient to visit the ancient city. The surrounding area is lively. If you choose this place, you don't have to worry about not being able to find a place to eat and take photos. There is a travel photography shop downstairs. The photographer recommended by the shop is so good. We are very satisfied with the photos taken for us!

The decoration is simple and elegant. I am very satisfied with the room I live in. The facilities are complete, the sound insulation is very good, the bed is moderately soft and hard, it is very comfortable to lie on, and the sleep is very quiet.

The hotel manager was very enthusiastic and responsible. We contacted the hotel in advance to take the most convenient route before we arrived. When the car arrived at the door, he helped to carry the luggage to the room. There is no elevator in the ancient city, but the floor is not high. The room is clean and tidy. The new decoration is simple and breathable with good lighting. It is the second row of the river. The room on the 4th floor can see the night view of the river from the window. In general, we are very happy and satisfied with our stay! I will come to stay next time if I have time!
