During this trip to Mount Emei, I stayed at the Centennial Hot Spring Hotel where Chiang Kai-shek had lived. The natural environment of the hotel is unparalleled. The hotel environment is fresh and elegant. The layers of mountains in the distance and the green trees nearby are perfectly integrated, forming a harmonious and magnificent natural landscape. The hotel breakfast is very rich and tastes good! The room is clean and tidy and well-equipped. I also experienced the hotel's value-added services: meditation and copying scriptures, sound bowl therapy, celebrity explanations and other activities are all good! The hotel's hot spring is also a major feature. The hot spring water is clear and the whole is hidden in the forest, which is very comfortable! The hotel's housekeeper and front desk staff are very warm and thoughtful, and if there is a problem, the housekeeper can respond and reply in time!

To get there, take bus 5 or 7 for ¥2 from outside the Emeishan train station. If you prefer, a tuk-tuk can also take you for ¥10. Taxi drivers increase the price significantly, so agree on a fair price before getting in the car. Negative: The WiFi didn't work. Although the area is good if you want to go to Mount Emei, it is quite far from the city of Emeishan; it's actually in a village called Bagou. The area is very beautiful, but the aggressive sales tactics of the people working in the restaurants and street stalls are unpleasant. They don't let you walk, shout at you, and chase you, even if you politely tell them you're not interested in their restaurant. You are constantly approached to buy tours, making it impossible to stroll peacefully. Although we understand there is no ill intention, the hotel owners constantly ask where we are going, what we are going to do the next day, and if we want food. We felt like we were staying at the house of friendly but somewhat controlling relatives, which is not what we expect from a hotel.

This is my second time staying at their home. The environment of the homestay is very good and the service is excellent! Their location is very good and it is only a three-minute walk from the tourist center. It is highly recommended to bring the elderly and children to stay.

The hotel is decorated in a new Chinese style, which is fashionable and warm. The dining area is clean and bright. The room is consistent with the picture. The mattress is very comfortable and I rested well. Figure 5 is part of the breakfast. Auntie also cooked noodles for me, which tasted great.
