To get there, take bus 5 or 7 for ¥2 from outside the Emeishan train station. If you prefer, a tuk-tuk can also take you for ¥10. Taxi drivers increase the price significantly, so agree on a fair price before getting in the car. Negative: The WiFi didn't work. Although the area is good if you want to go to Mount Emei, it is quite far from the city of Emeishan; it's actually in a village called Bagou. The area is very beautiful, but the aggressive sales tactics of the people working in the restaurants and street stalls are unpleasant. They don't let you walk, shout at you, and chase you, even if you politely tell them you're not interested in their restaurant. You are constantly approached to buy tours, making it impossible to stroll peacefully. Although we understand there is no ill intention, the hotel owners constantly ask where we are going, what we are going to do the next day, and if we want food. We felt like we were staying at the house of friendly but somewhat controlling relatives, which is not what we expect from a hotel.

Speaking of the room, the mountain view I stayed in this time was really great. Sitting on the balcony, drinking tea, watching the mountains and eating cherries, it was very comfortable. Speaking of the scenery, my favorite is their old tree that guards the house. It is in the middle of the courtyard, with tables and chairs placed below. It is also very comfortable to drink tea and chat. It feels like a place for self-cultivation. Haha. Their location is very good, 3 minutes walk from Huangwan Visitor Center, which is convenient for going up the mountain. In addition, there is a free shuttle bus to the Emeishan Railway Station Visitor Center. If you go to Emei Railway Station, there is also a bus No. 1 next to the visitor center, which costs 1 yuan and takes 30 minutes. If there are any shortcomings, there are still some. The equipment in the house is a bit old, the water for the shower is not big, and it seems that the air conditioner does not have warm air. But the flaws do not outweigh the merits, and I still recommend this homestay.
