Lovely apartments. They’re spacious clean and have everything that you could need. Stylish too and although we didn’t eat there it was good to know that it was an option. The location was really good with restaurants & shops handy. Very short walk to popular tourist area & close to Waverley Station. Staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful

Amazing stay at Market Street Hotel! The room was superbly located just opposite the Edinburgh train station. It is fully accessible via lifts, so you do not have to worry about lugging the luggage through any stairs. It is opposite the train station yet the rooms are soundproof and quiet. The room was clean and beautifully furbished. The concierge Miles was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is also conveniently-located near to the Royal Mile. I highly recommend this hotel to all travelers.

I think the hotel location is very good, almost touching the royal mile with just few meters away. This hotel is suitable for solo or business travelers as this is an express hotel. The room we got was very small in size 19m2 not suitable for family with a kid. There was no refrigerator in the room. Breakfast was very ordinary with very few options so, I will not suggest to take breakfast at this hotel, in fact people can scout on royal mile for a decent restaurant. Overall, 1 or 2 days should be ok without much hassle but if you are planning to spend some more time then I will not suggest for this hotel. Staff was always helpful and they do the best to guide you for things.

Hotel in central location room very comfortable but very warm due to weather. Breakfast was fantastic delighted with the booking was an absolute bargain through Trip.com during the Royal military tattoo and fringe season! Would definitely return!

This hotel is a hotel that combines bar, catering and accommodation. After getting off the plane from Edinburgh Airport, we took the tram to the city center and then navigated to walk to the hotel. The hotel is very close to the train station, about three to four hundred meters walk. The rooms, services, and dining at this hotel are all great! They prepared a letter when I checked in. I also wrote a thank you letter to them before leaving. It was very interesting. I will choose their home again next time I come to Edinburgh!

Great and comfy hotel, really near the city centre with everything a 10 minute walk away. Enjoyed the jacuzzi and swimming pool facilities plus the breakfast buffet was fantastic would recommend for a short or long stay perfect for a short 3 day trip to Edinburgh

Comfortable room good service and there is one sweet lady staff made my day. She is patience listening what I have been thru and gave me a complimentary breakfast. I would like to thank her but I forgot to look at her name tag, when I check out she was off duty. Not sure is she Kajo. Other staffs are friendly as well.

Amazing overall. Only thing that can better are: noise level within the corridors of the room floor. The room wall is so thin that you could hear all noises. The water pressure of the shower is pathetically low. I was given a room with a view (view to the roof that is, see photo) 😅. Anyway the whole location and friendly staff made up for what’s missing.

Awful hotel that is definitely not 4* and the service is not at Hilton level at all…. The hotel goes under the renovation and there were only 2 lifts with queues and they are also used by the staff too We had a room for 3 people and had all set up for two people only, the room was dirty with hair in the shower and the ceiling. When I took the shower the pipe was blocked and the water started to leak to the bathroom… yes they sorted the problem quite quickly but still was not great experience There were no slippers and bathrobes. I asked for x3 slippers and they brought only one pair. I asked again and they brought only one pair again. On the third time they brought two pairs…. When I asked for 3!!! And still no bathrobes. We asked for additional blanket and it was in a random location after the room was cleaned. The room was cleaned badly on the next day we stayed. My pajamas was thrown elsewhere and I found it on the table, the towels we put on the floor to be replaced were fold dirty on the shelves… the blanket was in a random location and the cleaner did not pay any attention at all left the room dirty. Very disrespectful I felt that I had to beg for the things we are supposed to get in this kind of hotels. Shocking!!! Yes they compensated with a complimentary breakfast which was good but still the service was bad. They sent the cleaner and by the time she came we were already sleeping. I really like it. I booked the Pioneer Edinburgh, the first stop in the UK, near the Chinese New Year. I read the reviews before and found that the room was not big, but after checking in, I found that although the room was not big, it was full of details and definitely met the standards of the list of the world's top 100 designers. It was very good. There were many Internet celebrity check-in spots around, and it was also very convenient to get it. Edinburgh is very beautiful, and it is convenient to go everywhere if you stay here. You can reach various attractions on foot. I highly recommend it. I didn't buy breakfast at the time, but there was an espresso machine in the hotel. It feels good to drink a little every day.
