The Novotel Edinburgh offers convenience with its proximity to a train station, making it easily accessible for travelers. However, the hotel room was a bit small to accommodate four luggages comfortably. Overall, my stay was satisfactory. The hotel's location near a Tesco store was convenient for any immediate needs or shopping. While the room size posed a minor challenge, the hotel provided a decent experience for my stay in Edinburgh. If you're looking for a convenient location with nearby amenities like Tesco, the Novotel Edinburgh could be a suitable option for your stay.

Its good for a budget hotel with great facilities, room and service. But is quite far and will take 40 minutes to central city

We need to stay near edinburgh airport and this hotel suits our need. The tram stop is a 5 min walk and brings you to the airport or to town. We like it that a room can sleep up to 3. Provide free coffee and tea. Room a bit small and cramped. No place to hang clothes when bathing.

Lovely groups and views. Comfortable bed and reasonable sized room, but the shower curtain was smelly, and we had to ask for it to be changed. It took several phone calls and nearly an hour before someone came and changed it. Breakfast was quite good, but no eggs benedict offered, which was disappointing. Unfortunately, the pool was packed with children and families who didn't appear to be stating at the hotel, and the timings for adults only swimming were before breakfast and after dinner. I did not consider this a proper 5-star hotel facility since it seemed less private and more public baths. Having seen how busy the golf was, I felt maybe this isn't a private membership golf and spa hotel anymore. All in all, I did have a comfortable stay but found the hotel not private enough to make it a special experience, which is what I expected for the price and given its previous reputation in the community and in reviews.

Good location for the Secure Airport Parking, a 5 minute walk. Check-in and out was quick. Room was clean with a new bathroom, which had a powerful hot shower. Corridors and communal areas could do with a freshen up and the carpets cleaned. Free breakfast had basic cereals, natural yogurt and a hot selection- sausage, bacon etc.

This hotel is a short walk to and from from the airport. The staff were always polite and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. The lifts were a bit slow, but you could use the stairs. The lounge is huge and the breakfast included vegan options. I only wish there had been a fridge in the room.

Convenient place for an overnight from airport arrival. Easy check in, pleasant staff, large room. Would have preferred not to have cleaning team try to enter room at 8:30am following late night arrival. I suppose the DND door tag would have helped had I used it.

Everyone was so polite and the service was amazing that I would definitely back here again!
