Online the pics look great. We got there and it actually looks like it needs a deep cleaning. Walls dirty, top layer of everything looking a little grimly, and musty smell. Tried opening the window and only cracks open in both rooms about 6 inches. Went to cook and utensils and pots had food on them. So we questioned if anything was sanitary. The bathroom tile was all listed and dangerous to step in or you can trip or stub your toes. Tub was insanely high. I’m a tall woman and I had to be careful getting in and out. Can’t imagine it being safe for shorter people children or those with limits. On top of that tub is super slippery. No bath mat or anything. Shower door covered half the tub so water came out all over the floor. Only one roll of half used toilet paper. There isn’t a service staff there in the evening and when we went to check out the box of supplies they leave out with extras, it was empty. They mop the floor in the morning and it’s all muddy but not only that it’s dangerous because there was no sign in front of the door to the hallway I came out of and fell hard on my knees. No one else’s me until I looked distressed even though I fell in front of the service managers window and she and someone were watching. I had to ask for ice. No help. Last but not least we selected this hotel because it had a car park- when we arrived it was broken. Parking is expensive otherwise. I posted a sign of the average cost, and the metered parking in front is coin operated only and we got two tickets because there are parking monitors on top of each street. We spent an insane amount overall for a one start quality hotel and regret having a car because of the inconvenience of their lack of parking that was promoted. I recommend to stay anywhere else or right outside of the center.

Overall a decent size hotel room for a family of 4 . Could use some instruction manuals for hobs and clean pots. The card key also doesn't work all the time. They request a security deposit from you of about £100 which is not part of the initial booking fee.

When I was checking in for help, my attitude was very bad and I was impatient. And when I got back to the hotel at the end of the tour, the door was closed. And I don't have access to the password, and no one ever told me the password! Calling customer service won't fix the problem either. It kept me standing outside for 20 minutes.

The time required to walk from the train station to the hotel is about 20 mins. There are some stores near the hotel. There are 2 floors for the hotel. We live in a room on the 1st floor. The size is decent and the equipment is sufficient. However, the window is at the height of a peoples's head. The people outside can easily look into the room and privacy is a issue. Also, there are some problems in the bathroom. The light in the bathroom is automatic and this is a disadvantage. When I sit on the toilet, the sensor in the bathroom cannot detect my movement and will turn the light off every minute. It will be a lot better if I can switch the lights on manually. Also, the method of changing the temperature of the shower is very unhuman. Overall, it is a fine aparthotel but there are some problems

Sofa bed not very tidy

The sofa bed was unsleeping, there were mites or lice, two people slept on it and were bitten on the face and body. When I asked for clean sheets, they had the nerve to say that extra sheets would cost 35 pounds. Thanks to Ctrip's support and help, the sheets were finally changed for free. Although I still felt itchy after the change, it was much better than the first night. The hygiene of British hotels is worrying. The clean sheets and towels that were to be changed were thrown on the floor at random. It's better to turn a blind eye.

It's not far from the train station, and the sightseeing bus stops nearby, which is fine. But the key point is that the hygiene is too bad. When I lifted the quilts of the two beds, I saw hairs left by the previous guest. I really wanted to vomit. Later I went to the front desk, and the front desk said that because the cleaner only came once a day, she could only help me find a clean quilt cover to change myself. Okay, I'll change it myself. But when I changed the quilt cover, I found that their quilt core was actually wrapped in something like non-woven fabric... This is the first time I have seen such bedding. The floor of the bathroom is also rotten, and it was actually glued with transparent tape 😲😲 And because of the above, I dare not use the kitchen utensils and washing machine in the room. By the way, such a room costs more than 3,000 per night.

Self-service check-in is convenient and luggage can be stored. Check-in is at 3 o'clock. If a room is available, you can check-in at 1 o'clock earlier. Very good! The hotel has electrical manuals that are easy to understand. I cooked meals for two days. It’s great to have a dishwasher! The washing machine also has an arch-drying function, which allows us to put away our clothes faster! The location is quiet and prosperous. It is very convenient to the attractions. It is worth recommending!

All very good, clean, quiet, good location, kitchen facilities are complete but the plates are small and there are no bowls. It is recommended to add some bowls for the convenience of Chinese people, and it would be better to have a rice cooker.

It's really rotten, it's so cool

Terrible accommodation experience, hard to imagine how to rate it as a four-star hotel. First of all, the check-in process experience is very poor. When I arrived at the hotel door with my luggage and planned to check in, I learned that the door required a password to open, and I didn't know the password. There was no staff in sight, so I needed to call and ask myself. This was the first time I encountered it. Such a situation. The check-in process was all self-service, and in the end, the deposit of 100 pounds was directly debited from my credit card. I was not informed of this payment in advance. Secondly, the facilities are confusing. The switch of the shower head in the bathroom is designed in the shape of a rare double-layer turntable (or can be said to be a rudder), and there is a lack of clear instructions. I have no idea how to use it. Before I want to take a bath, I have to figure out how to use the shower equipment. It is simply unbelievable. The light switch in the bathroom is actually set close to the roof. The height is puzzling. Is it because you are afraid that others will turn off the light and fall asleep? All the windows in the room are tilted (the lower edge of the window tilts outward), which results in the curtains that naturally droop under the action of gravity being unable to block all the light. There will be a large light-transmitting area on the side, which also makes it safer. People worry. No conditioner provided. Finally, the price/performance ratio is low. It's a 20-minute walk from the train station. The location is quite convenient, but it's not worth the price. If you don’t need to book a room temporarily, there are better options.

The hotel is an apartment hotel, with staff on duty. You can pick up the daily necessities in the room by yourself. The kitchen equipment is easy to use, the room layout is reasonable, and it is relatively comfortable. The hotel is located in the New Town, in a residential area, close to Princes Street and within walking distance. It can also be reached by walking to the Old Town Castle. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby, which is quite convenient.

The hotel room is very big, very clean, and the facilities are very complete. The bathroom is the best. The location of the hotel is okay, but there is only a two-in-one washing machine, and the drying part cannot be used. There is only laundry, but there are drying racks. It's more economical for four people to live.
