The location is average, not too close, not too far either. It's a bit deserted in comparison. The whole hotel wins in terms of price. It's advertised as an electric bed, but it's useless when put down, and it doesn't feel very hygienic. But I'm almost used to it in the UK 😂

The hotel is in the New Town, where Chopin held his last performance before his death (although you can't see anything there now). You can walk to the Old Town, which is a little far, but 75% of the houses in Edinburgh are UNESCO cultural heritage sites, so it's very comfortable to walk all the way.
