We stayed at 10 Clarendon Crescent during our three day visit to the Edinburgh Festival. The apartments are situated in the New Town part of Edinburgh so it is about a 20-25 minute walk to the centre of the Festival in the Old Town. However, it does mean that the apartments are quiet and a haven from the bustle of the Festival. We stayed in the Belgrave apartment. It was extremely well appointed, with views over the small green opposite. The apartment is very well laid out with good quality fittings. There is space to cook, space to relax and space to put clothes. Billy, who owns the apartments, is very helpful and is able to supply numbers for such amenities as taxi firms. He was there to meet us and was always available via email or text to answer any questions we had. I would not hesitate to recommend 10 Clarendon Crescent as a base when visiting Edinburgh.

Nestled in a residential part of Edinburgh, but close to shops and cafes, these apartments are a great find. We stayed in a one-bedroom unit on the top floor with lovely views. Crisp, modern, well-appointed and calm, this apartment was a pleasure to come back to after a day of sightseeing. There is a small, convenient kitchen with a cooktop and some basics for cooking. Coffee drinkers will have to do with Nescafé, but there are several cafes nearby. The apartment sleeps three, with a very comfortable rollaway bed (not a sofa bed). Sheets are immaculately clean. Billy the owner is responsive, helpful, and very charming. If you are traveling by train I recommend a taxi from the train station to the apartment. There are no elevators, so you will have to climb up with bags!

Learmonth Billy McLennan is a wonderful host. The building is beautiful, easy to find and the apartment I stayed in was fabulous. Great communication. The building houses five apartments with Learmonth being at the top. Slight winding steps to reach it but worth it once reached! The apartment was spotless and very comfortable. The master bedroom is large - blackout blinds would have been a bonus but we shouldn’t complain about the sun. The view from the lounge is lovely!

Billy is an excellent host and the property is lovely, in a quiet, walkable part of Edinburgh just a few blocks from major sights. The apartment was a great fit for our family of three. Great shower— which is uncommon for the UK. Be aware that this is a walkup and there are limited options for late-night or laundry in the neighborhood as you are in a residential area. We would stay here again without a second thought.

Room was beautiful. Very comfortable for 3 people. Close to old town, food, and shopping. Great host. If you don't mind stairs, this is a magnificent stay.

Our apartment was fantastic and Billy went out of his way to make our stay wonderful! The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet and we really enjoyed being close enough to walk to everything we needed. Highly recommended!

This is the second time we have stayed here and can't fault the apartments at all. Location is perfect - nice and quiet but a short walk to the city centre. The apartments have everything you could want and are beautifully decorated. Owners were friendly and helpful.

The place was nice and cozy. Gentlemen who checked us in was very nice and helpful. Had a bottle of wine waiting for us which was lovely.
