Small and cute hotel next to a park. I had a nice park view from my room. Check-in ve check-out were quick and smooth

The location of the hotel was great, but that was just about it. Check in/check out time was one of the worst I had encountered. I arrived at the hotel about 2:25pm from a rather long trip but was told Check in started by 3pm, Checkout 10am. The waiting lobby/reception was crowded with lots of persons, noisy etc. The hotel looked like a student hostel. It was just for the night so I managed through and left ASAP next morning. Will not go back - ever.

The staff were polite and helpful and met my request for a ground floor room. The room is what you'd expect for a budget hotel. The bed and the bathroom were clean. Shower was very good. Our room could have stood a lick of paint, but overall we got what we paid for, so no complaints

Lovely place for a last minute booking - must have got the last room as it was tiny! Not suitable for longer than a night or two or just somewhere to lay your head but very comfortable and clean! Would note the check in time being 3pm - hadn’t been able to change it at all

I stayed at the Adelphi Hotel on a recent trip to Edinburgh. It's definitely a budget-friendly option, which was perfect for me. The room itself was clean and functional. The bed was comfy, there was a flat-screen TV to unwind with, and the shower had great pressure with plenty of hot water. Heads up, there's no breakfast offered at the hotel. I grabbed food at a nearby cafe each morning, which wasn't a problem, but be sure to factor that extra cost into your budget. The room was a little on the small side, and I heard some noise from outside at times. It's not a fancy hotel, and there aren't any amenities beyond free Wi-Fi. The location, however, was fantastic. It's just a short walk from the tram stop, and most of Edinburgh's attractions were within a 10-15 minute drive. There's even free parking on-site, which is a major plus in the city. Overall, the Adelphi Hotel was a decent choice for my short stay. It's perfect if you're on a budget and don't mind a basic room without frills. Just be prepared to find breakfast elsewhere and manage your expectations.

This price is for a basement room. Not recommended. Not as good as the Hilton one.

I can only say it’s okay! The location is a little remote... But there is no special requirement for the price... The neighborhood is a little deserted....

It's very clean, and the rooms are not very functional. There is a wide lawn outside the hotel, and the beach is farther away. The seagulls start singing non-stop in the early morning, and the surrounding restaurants are basically closed after 20:00.
