Spa Hotels in Dublin

Definitely recommend the theatre package, bed, breakfast and pre theatre dinner, then pickup by taxi to show, taxi back to hotel also, plus tickets to a show. Will definitely be coming back, staff were so friendly and helpful and even though our room wasn’t air conditioned, it had two fans which we couldn’t have survived without

I have just retuned from a weekend stay at the Merrion with my daughter to celebrate my birthday. It was absolutely beautiful. Our room was spectacular, huge, so clean and every amenity you could wish for. The turn down and make up service was the best I have experienced in any hotel. Real attention to detail. Room service was so prompt and the food was amazing. We had drinks in 1923 and The Cellar Bar, both of which were also awesome. We ate in the Sunday evening in The Garden Room which was fabulous. We used the Spa facilities and had treatments each. Our Therapists were really great. Overall a very memorable trip and I was unable to fault any aspect of the hotel. We will definitely be back.

Amazing service at first arrival the doors were opened and I was greeted with very friendly staff who treated me with the utmost respect. The food was delicious as far as fine dining goes. The steak order was mixed up however we were given a new steak and complimentary drinks which was a nice gesture for a small mistake. We had massages and they were the best massages I have ever had in my life. We were given a tour of all the facilities and I really enjoyed my experience overall.

It's a great experience every time. Stayed in a small room which was well planned and the space was more than adequate for me. Should suit a couple in a short stay as well. Great breakfast with Catherine turning it into an awesome one by bringing some double espressos from outside of the area. Checkin and checkout were fast and precise. The only issue was with the parking (no receipt given / doors wouldn't open / help intercom did not work), which did work at the end, but it has to improve to match what's expected from Spencer.

Location was fantastic. Hotel was very clean, comfortable and modern. Staff friendly and engaging. Was going away for a one night break to Dublin from 2 small kids and we were hoping for a restful night. However, a noisy fan in the bathroom prevented that. It sounded like someone was vacuuming the room all night. The reception sent a very nice person to the room, but couldn't fix the issue, he also agreed that the noise was very loud but that maintenance were unavailable until the morning. It was very disappointing for us and we left the hotel more tired than when we arrived. When you pay hard earned money and look forward to your break, I feel compelled to highlight this issue as it was the opposite of what we hoped for from our break.

We flew into Dublin T1, arriving 12:30 and caught the 784 bus - the stop is literally outside the terminal. A quick and efficent journey straight to Charlotte Way, across the road and into Camden Court for lunch. The hotel staff were friendly, but what really blew us away was the goats cheese salad ..... WOW... sadly we didn't stay at the hotel, but instead caught a 5 minute cab ride to our hotel...

Myself and my Wife were going to a show in the Bord Gais theatre. A long overdue break from the kids! My parents had booked a room in the Clayton for us. As a surprise for my wife I booked a room upgrade online. Only 30 euro to go to a King Size bed with further amenities in the room. While we had checked in online we did not get to our room until approx. midnight. The show and then drinks meant we stayed out. On arrival in the room I immediately noticed it was just a normal room. I rang reception, was told nothing could be done now and that I would be refunded in the morning. No apology was offered. Simply nothing we can do now, get a refund tomorrow. Check out the next morning and I had to bring it up, no note was left on the account. Again the staff were completely dismissive!! I said I was very disappointed, he just said well nothing I can do now your stay is over. I feel like the basic premise of saying sorry must be outlawed in this hotel!! He took my name and number and said accounts would call me Monday to correct it but he could not complete the refund. Note the money had left my account at this point. Monday came and went and no call. I just now phoned the hotel and have been told it will take 2 weeks to refund me and you guessed it, once again no apology!!!! The basics of customer service completely lacking. They took my money immediately, did not provide what I paid for and now will take 2 weeks to give it back!! I will never again use this hotel. I would urge others to look at the Marker or other hotels near by who will actually give you what you pay for and possibly apologise when they make a mistake! I can live with mistakes, they happen. I will not put up with such poor customer service and dismissive attitude of staff.

The food was fantastic but everything is about 6 times the price. The service was great also but in comparison to other 5 star hotels it could of done with some work for example the it was my first time in the spa area and I didn't really get very good directions as to where everything was such as in the Marker hotel I was greeted, given a tour and treated as a king which is what you should expect from first class service.
