It was so nice to lie on the hammock in the room and admire the snow-capped mountains in front of me! 2. The owners of the B&B are very, very nice! The coffee is indeed the best in Yubeng. On Christmas Eve, they also carefully prepared mulled wine, which was full of festive atmosphere; 3. It was a pity that I didn’t finish the Shenhu line this time. Next time I go, I will definitely choose Yushan again without hesitation!

The best way to escape the bitter summer in the Central Plains is to go to the north of Yunnan. Walking on the stone road of Dukezong again after nine years, I found that the simplicity and tranquility of the ancient city had been disturbed a lot. Noisy tourists and impetuous beings also occupied the streets and alleys of the ancient city. Fortunately, the Hengzheng Paina Inn I chose blindly did not disappoint me and even brought many surprises. I found a quiet and beautiful place to stay in the bustling ancient city. The B&B is located in a quiet place amidst the bustle and is spotless. It reflects the thoughts, tastes and intentions of the owners. The owners are a young couple from Beijing who went there because of their love. They spent nine years just to create a Shambhala that all kinds of travelers hope for. No matter the master or we who are wandering, this place of peace is my hometown. Appreciate the owner's bravery, persistence, intention and taste. And we have planned escapes too many times, only to find that we are still in the same place after many years. Too many regrets in the world come from wanting not to do something, and the way to resolve it should be invisible between horizontal and vertical strokes. I hope this kind of good B&Bs will get better and better, and there will be more and more of them.

This hotel is OK. The room is big, with floor heating and oxygen concentrator. The boss gave us a heater in the room because he was afraid we would be cold. There is also a big bathtub in the room, which is very nice. The boss also gave us fruits enthusiastically. When we left, he also booked a car for us at his own expense. The service is very thoughtful. If we need anything, the boss will get it for us immediately. The location is also close to Dukezong Ancient Town.

This place is amazing and is a dream for animal and nature lovers. You get to be near the animals and they would also go up to you as they are not afraid of strangers. From the moment we arrived at the accommodation, we were greeted by the staff who were all very kind and friendly. We woke up with a headache on one day and the staff very kindly went out to buy medicine for us. They also helped us to arrange transportation to and fro places and helped us to book our train tickets as well. As Shangri-La was our first stop in Yunnan, the air in the room felt quite dry and stale and we had some difficulty adjusting. However, the service provided by the staff made up for everything and we were very satisfied with our stay. We will definitely miss this accommodation! ❤️

The check-in experience was very good and very convenient. The inn provides free airport pick-up and drop-off. The service staff has a very good attitude, especially the handsome guy at the front desk who is tall, handsome and very polite. He helped me carry my suitcase throughout the whole process and spoke very gently and politely. Later, I learned that he was the boss's son. Not bad! The room is very spacious and it feels good to see the grassland outside, but the grass withers in winter. If it is summer, I think the scenery should be beautiful. The oxygen concentrator in the room provides oxygen 24 hours a day, and we did not feel altitude sickness. I don’t know if it is the credit of the oxygen concentrator, or it may be because we are in good health😀 Basic services are available, and the overall feeling is very good. Thumbs up👍! This is the room that is truly suitable for relaxation! Impressed with everything, the room is beautiful as in the picture, clean, the facilities in the room are very complete, hair dryer like a hair salon, bathroom, separate toilet and shower area, heater in the bathroom, the owner is very kind, always helping and when we go back, he took us to the train station. But what I like the most is the cat, very clingy. But this accommodation is located outside the city, about 5 kilometers from the city. You can call a car through the didi app to pick you up. The fare into the city is 13-19 yuan. The car is easy to find. Call for 2 minutes and you will arrive. As for the famous cafe by Lake Napa, take a car from the accommodation to there for 14-18 yuan. If I come back to Shangri-La again, I promise that I will come back to stay here.❤️

Hotel Indigo is situated on the top of a hill, overseeing the ancient town. We enjoyed the very beautiful view and scenery from our room and the restaurant, where added-on one breakfast during our stay just to enjoy the view and ambience. The food options during breakfast were average with a mixture of international and local food. Rooms were very clean with daily housekeeping service. Buggy service is also available to bring you from the main lobby to the rooms. The only downside is the walk up the hill when returning to the hotel from the ancient town, as it can be quite tiring and made worst by the altitude. Would definitely recommend staying here during your time in Shangri-la!

The hotel is well decorated and has good sanitary conditions. Although the rooms on the first floor are blocked by the White Pagoda, the snow-capped mountains and the White Pagoda are very beautiful. In the morning, I went to the rooftop terrace to watch the golden mountain in the sun. It was very pleasant with few people.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite for a week, and it was an exceptional experience. The room was incredibly spacious with breathtaking mountain views, and the heated floors made it very cosy. The location was perfect—right in the heart of Dukezong Ancient City—making it convenient to explore the area. The service was impeccable; the family who runs this hotel was extremely friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure we felt at home.
