Vienna Designer Hotels

This was our third stay at the Steigenberger Herrenhof.  The hotel is in a perfect location being in walking distance of all the museums, galleries and Christmas markets.  Every member if staff is friendly, helpful and efficient.  The breakfast is very good value for money and the bar area is a great place to relax.  We love this hotel.

I couldn’t be happier during my three nights of stay at the Intercontinental Vienna. I was given an early check in upon arrival after a tiring long haul flight. The front desk staff was so warm and helpful, giving me all the tips to browse the city area. The location of the hotel couldn’t be better as the Metro station is directly opposite to the hotel entrance. The breakfast was awesome with good quality food which fed me so well that I didn’t need a meal for the day until later in the afternoon. I want to specially mention the nicest staff at its bar who not only provided excellent service but showed their warmth and care to their customers. During Xmas day, after my dinner at the bar, one of the staff kindly ran to the life to give me a plate of chocolate biscuits to wish me a merry Christmas. I was so touched and want to use here to express my thanks to them and to that particular staff. I wish I had his name ! Overall, I throughly enjoyed my stay there and will not hesitate to come back if I ever visit Vienna. It is the most value for money place I have stayed.

Some places you visit, and some places stay with you. The Ritz-Carlton in Vienna isn’t just a hotel, it’s a memory, a feeling, an experience I’ll carry with me. As someone who’s traveled extensively, I’ve seen my share of beautiful hotels. Many shine on the surface, but very few have what this place has a soul. And that soul comes from the people. What struck me most during my stay wasn’t just the elegance or the comfort. It was the warmth, the attention to detail, and the sense of care from every single person I met. From the housekeepers to the receptionists, the breakfast staff to the management, every interaction felt meaningful. In the hotel industry, teamwork is everything. It’s like the gears of a watch. Every single cog, no matter how small or large, plays a vital role. If one is missing, the clock stops ticking. And at The Ritz-Carlton, every cog turns perfectly. Breakfast, for instance, was an experience I won’t forget. Their Eggs Benedict was the best I’ve ever had, but it wasn’t just about the dish. It was the way it was served, with care, with pride, and with the intent to make my morning special. To everyone who works here: thank you. You’re not just doing a job, you’re creating moments that stay with people. You turned my stay into something I’ll look back on with a smile, and that’s not something that happens everywhere. To anyone considering a stay in Vienna, know this: The Ritz-Carlton isn’t just a hotel where you’ll feel pampered, it’s a place where you’ll feel seen, valued, and at home. Experiences may fade, but the way this team made me feel will last forever.

It’s good hotel but definitely not 5 stars Good style and furniture. But we asked for a kettle and we’ve got it without cups and tea No hair conditioner. Be ready that your shower is almost in your room And gym is tiny and not good equipped

Hotel located close to Museum Quartiers and walking distance to Kartner and Graben shopping streets. Hotel and rooms are decorated in vibrant, fun and circus themed colors. Plenty of corners where you can take instagramable photos. Service is a bit impersonal but hotel staffs are helpful. There is a rooftop bar. Unfortunately whether was a bit too cold for us to enjoy our drinks outside. For those who like to cycle, they provide rental bicycles too. All in all, a great hotel to stay in Vienna.

The room type I chose is on the fourth floor with a good view. The omelette for breakfast is also very good, you can add what you want to the kitchen. The only downside is that you have to go up one flight of stairs to get to the elevator. The elevator is an old-fashioned elevator, which is very interesting and has a sense of design. Also don't book the first floor, the room is damp and dark. A room with sunshine upstairs is very comfortable

The hotel is well located near Westbahnhof. It would be best to reach there by bus from the airport. There are multiple buses and trams that could be reached within walking distance. Major tourist attraction such as Schönbrunn can be reached easily via tram connections. There are a lot of restaurants around and we especially recommend the Japanese place next door :) All in all, the hotel is chic and clean. The room is a bit small but well equipped. They also have a little reading area/ pantry in the shared area which is a good additipn, you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea there with a nice book. Note that they have self check-in which is pretty efficient.

This is the hotel I have the worst experience with. Check-in and the lobby are across the street. It is very inconvenient in cold weather. The air conditioner is broken. The key is that the maintenance staff directly swiped the card to enter the room without consent because the room cannot be locked from the inside. In short, 2 A room that costs more than a thousand yuan a night seems to cost a few hundred yuan a night. The other room booked was a double bed room with two single quilts.

The small hotel has been newly renovated, and it is equipped with a Dyson hair dryer of 3,000 oceans! The bed was very comfortable and very clean, and most of the sights not mentioned were on foot. Barbeque meal and Frans Joseph meal are recommended for breakfast.

The location of the hotel is also very good, the facilities are also very good, and the restaurant on the first floor is also very good, but I chose the opera scenery and paid for it, but I can only see the trees in front of the hotel. Although I made a complaint, the hotel also made an opera I said it was a view, and I didn't say I wanted a high floor, so I said it was assigned like this. The opera view is covered with trees, but how is the opera view! ? And even if it's not a high floor, I thought it was good to see, so if I knew it, I would ask you to arrange a high floor. It almost ruined the anniversary. Please refer to those who want to see the opera view. The picture was taken in the room I stayed in. And the shower room was clean, but the sewer smelled bad. Just closed the door, it didn't smell, so I went over, but please refer to those who use the shower room.
