The hotel is strategically located and conveniently located. It is very convenient to go to the Shaolin Scenic Area of Lushan. The hotel rooms are spacious, comfortable and bright, and the bathroom is separated from wet and dry; but the hotel's breakfast needs to be improved so that guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast at any time!

All in all we are quite satisfied with our short stay. We haven't used any of the hotel amenities like swimming pool or restaurant, so it's impossible to comment upon them. However, we'd like to say thank you to the stuff that is available any time. It turned out that one faucet didn't work properly and we only found it out at around 11 p.m. We called service number and the problem was solved within 10 minutes. One more pleasant thing is the pillow menu) The beds are generally very comfortable (unlike in many other Chinese hotels), but you still can choose an orthopedic pillow to your liking. That was very nice! Location is good (around 15 min to the mountain park entrance and to the bus station).
Unfortunately, we are not very happy with the view. (It was a mountain view room). Yes, we saw a pagoda and the mountains, but also the construction site right below our windows. Workes started their day at around 7 a.m., which was clearly heard in our room. In addition, there's some soft music constantly playing in the corridor. Definitely not for those who are sensitive to extra sounds.

Treasure B&B! The B&B is in a prime location, not far from various attractions. There is a lively night market just a ten-minute walk from the B&B. The owner and his family were warm and friendly, introducing us to the history, culture and customs of Dengfeng, and also recommended nearby delicacies. I chatted with the owner for a long time and felt that we had a good relationship. I will definitely stay here again next time I bring friends to Dengfeng. The room is comfortable and clean, with complete facilities. I really felt the comfort and warmth of home.

The hotel has a restaurant as well with very delicious food and sweet people working there. The location was peaceful, close to the mountain. All in all, we loved the homely stay and would recommend it to everyone traveling to Dengfeng

AAnonymous UserThis time when I went to Dengfeng, I chose Zhongzhou Huading Hotel, a five-star hotel listed by the National Tourism Administration. I was quite satisfied with my two-night stay. The hotel environment is very good, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, although it is not a new hotel in recent years, but it is well maintained. The room is fully equipped with supplies and the bedding is suitable. The hotel lobby service is good, especially Xiaoyu, who took the initiative to help us carry our luggage. When we checked in, it happened that a relatively large team was checking in, and the front desk was crowded. Xiaoyu and another lady helped us to check in separately, which reduced our waiting time. Xiaoyu also sent us upstairs, took the initiative to introduce the hotel environment and facilities, and gave us a map of Dengfeng, etc., which was very considerate. We had dinner at the hotel, and the catering service had more dishes and tasted good. Although breakfast was slightly crowded due to the tourist team, the dishes were served in a timely manner and the variety was relatively complete. The back garden of the hotel is very beautiful and suitable for a leisure walk. A suggestion is that the power sockets on the wall in the room - especially the two plugs are not working well, it is recommended to change them.

SSteven DowsonMarked down on service only because upon arrival we had problems entering the hotel because I'm a foreigner & the lady greeting us was not particularly helpful, however a phone call to the local authority by my Chinese girlfriend sorted things out. Room large, bed very comfortable, shower hot, all very clean. Breakfast is one of the best we've had in a Chinese hotel and these are the first three photos. I'm vegetarian and was delighted to see a wide range of freshly prepared and freshly cooked hot & cold vegetable dishes, all delicious. Our compliments to the kitchen staff who clearly know their business! The last two photos are from a local restaurant not far from hotel, can't remember the name but the entrance is very grand like the Tang gate in Luoyang, restaurant on third floor - superb Henan cuisine.

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located around the highway, 2 kilometers away from the exit, and the most cost-effective hotel closest to the Shaolin Temple scenic area and Songshan Mountain. It has a good service attitude, mountain views, a large hotel parking lot, and free laundry service. It is very convenient for us who are on a business trip. The facilities and equipment are complete and perfect. I recommend it to friends who come to Dengfeng.

GGuest UserI stayed with my husband and a friend for two nights. We had a great experience. All the staff was extremely nice, while also making an extra effort for us to feel comfortable and communicate with us, which is not a given in other hotels in China as they usually don’t speak English. We are particularly thankful to Lina, Xiao Jing and Xiao Ming for the attentive care of us. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Location was perfect for visiting the Shaolin temple, only took a short taxi ride to get there. We had a chance to try the food during breakfast and dinner and it didn’t disappoint. Everything we had was delicious.
We would come back, highly recommended.

GGuest UserThis place is very close to the entrance of the Taishi shan in the Song mountain area. The house is clean and is tastefully decorated. The owner is very helpful and a gracious host. He interacted with me well and showed his collection of antiques.He is a positive and energetic person. For hiking Taishi shan, this place is an ideal base. Shaolin temple is a bit away but one can easily access Shaolin temple by taxi. I stayed here for 2 nights and it was a wonderful experience.
Please remember that this is a home-stay and not a hotel. This is an ideal place to explore Songshan mountain area. I highly recommend this place.

KKongshanweifengThe location is very close to Songyang Academy, which is within walking distance. There are many restaurants nearby. The room is large, and the 2.4-meter bed is spacious and comfortable for two people. The hotel service is very good. When I first arrived, the clerk took the initiative to send the pear juice made by the store, and also carefully introduced the room facilities. Every time I came back from going out, I was greeted warmly, and I felt at home. The room facilities are unique, such as disposable toilet seat rings and disposable plastic slippers, which make people feel at ease. Breakfast was delivered to the room on time, with pastries, coarse grains, eggs, porridge, soy milk, and hot and cold dishes, which was comfortable to eat. You can order dishes in the room for dinner. The delicious dishes are moderate in size, but the serving time is a bit slow (more than half an hour), so you need to place orders more in advance.
The hotel has a very cultural atmosphere. There is a wall of bookshelves in the lobby, with all kinds of books: culture, history, prose, novels, law, psychology, etc. I am particularly interested in books introducing the world cultural heritage of Dengfeng; there are also local intangible cultural heritage specialties on display, black peanuts, millet vinegar, soybean paste, sesame maltose, etc., which can also be purchased; there is also a tea room in the corner, where you can taste tea and chat, and there are also brushes and rice paper for impromptu ink splashing. In short, it is a hotel with characteristics and cultural taste, and you can feel comfortable staying in it.
There is a 5G signal tower outside the room where I live, and it is almost within reach of the balcony. I wonder if there is radiation? It makes people nervous. But I saw a pair of magpies on the top of the tower busy building nests every day, worry-free and happy to go back and forth. I envy them for not worrying about radiation and being uneasy, I hope not.

Uun_guillouVery familial guesthouse as close as it can be from Shaolin Monastery. The owners cook good food and can drive you everywhere for a price. The wife is a guide, so she's very resourceful about what to see and do in the area. The husband's brother is a Shaolin monk so you can speak about kung-fu with him. We had a little misunderstanding at the beginning as I had booked a room with a mountain view and the one prepared had no window to the outside but I was able to change rooms. With their help I was able to hike everywher on the beautiful mountains around as I was less interested in kung-fu than the scenery.
