Daxin Hotels with Pools

We stayed here only one night unfortunately but we had such a lovely stay. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. They helped us with information about the Dietan waterfall and answered all our questions. Such a great service! The location is very beautiful and convenient if you are planning to visit Mingshi scenic area and Dietan waterfall! Our room was beautiful, and the swimming pool on the upper floor was amazing...with such a beautiful scenery. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I really hope we will have the opportunity to come back and stay longer. 😍

Lovely boutique hotel immersed in the spectacular landscape of Mingshi. Modern, new and well looked after. Free bike rental on site is very convenient, breakfast offers very good variety. Price is high and hotel staff doesn’t speak any English, which made it difficult for us to understand what was on offer. They were very responsive on wechat though. We recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Mingshi.

Amazing hotel! It really is more like a resort with a lot of things to discover. Unfortunately, probably due to the current pandemic situation, not everything has been in operation. You got a little nice bar for the occasional long-nighter 😅 there and a restaurant with a huge menu of different meals. The restaurant service has been unbelievable quick to serve the fresh cooked dishes. The hotel itself has been quite clean and the service staff always been helpful. Do not expect anyone speaking English thou. The whole surrounding is taken care of with visible passion and still you feel like in the middle of the jungle. If you got some time to spare, walk around the little village outside the hotel and try to find the small beautiful almost historic part of it, still being actively lived in by the locals. Just please always be respectful and cautious not to disturb them in any way. FYI: if you arrive there by bus from from Nanning (南宁) to DaXin (大新) (the ride itself is absolutely worth it), there are local drivers Infront of the bus station who know how to get to the hotel. Just make sure not to pay more then 250 RMB. Also make sure all your health codes, passports, visas, etc are all in order and quickly handy. After all it is a border region and the are a lot of checkpoints to pass through. That's no time to mess up anything.

Special mention should be made of Dongmei from the Ritz-Carlton Tea House. She is warm and thoughtful, and the photos are amazing. The one-to-one tour guide Xiaoliang is also dedicated and responsible. Make our journey efficient and unique. The package of Ritz-Carlton provides an extraordinary experience. You must try it if you have the opportunity. It is a completely different travel experience from buying tickets by yourself. Finally, there are some shortcomings. The bamboo rafting project is relatively cost-effective. The afternoon tea is exposed to the sun outdoors and the taste is completely unpalatable. This project can be re-evaluated.

This time when I went to Guangxi, the best place to stay was Shanshui Meisu. There was a stream under the balcony of the room, and it was very comfortable. If it was a sunny day, you could definitely take super beautiful pictures, and the night view was also very beautiful. The hotel directly arranged a private bamboo raft. Although it was not as far as the public bamboo raft, it was also very interesting, especially because you didn't have to fight with a bunch of tourists for the bamboo raft, and there were private tea and snacks. It was so interesting, and this is what tourism should be like. The hotel is so considerate. In addition, I must praise my housekeeper, the little girl in the picture, who was so careful. She helped us with our luggage, ran to deliver mosquito repellent spray, and carefully asked about our needs. Whenever she met us, she took the initiative to introduce us to various local beautiful scenery and food. When she took the bicycle, she carefully wiped the seat clean. I was embarrassed to run back and forth with the luggage that I felt was heavy. When we parted, she also gave us gifts. It was so cute. We had a great time chatting. I hope the little girl can have a better future, have her own career, and have a bright future. I'd like to praise another male waiter, I think his last name was Qin, the guy who drove the bamboo raft for us. He was a very lively guy, very good at chatting, and always had a lot of topics to talk about. During the tour, we were so happy that we laughed our heads off. He is definitely a hidden treasure.

The room facilities are reasonably set, and the bath and toilet are in two rooms, completely non-interfering with each other. The bathroom is equipped with smart toilets and squat pits, giving you more choices. When you open the door, you will see a beautiful mountain view and an excellent viewing rooftop. You can experience taking pictures of the scenery in the hotel. The location is also very convenient for transportation. Across the road is the famous Shiwei Restaurant, and there is a rental car next door for easy travel and return. The proprietress is very gentle and provides attentive service. She also provides free bonfire party tickets.

This stay, must be praised, the experience is great. The young ladies are very helpful, the service is in place, and the surrounding scenery is also pleasing to the eye. I especially like the bright terrace. I can bask in the sun and read a book. It feels very similar to living in Dali. Let time flow slowly. It is the biggest gain of my trip.

Service: They were really welcoming and greeted me with smiles when I checked in. On the day I checked in, there was a little girl at the front desk who was very nice and carried my 30-inch full box in. I said it didn't matter if I slid it, but she insisted. They helped me carry a hundred meters of food. It was really a five-star service standard. Breakfast was also available if it was not enough. It was totally different from me when I went there on Weizhou Island without saying a word. It was a very good service. If you have a similar budget. If you can’t book a hotel there, this is the first choice!
