Amazing hotel. Beautiful and very clean  room full of amenities. Bed was very comfortable a non-smoking floor. Bed was very comfortable. Very good breakfast with fresh knife cut noodles.

The staff upgraded us to a suite room upon check-in. Also provided daily fruit platter and 梨汤. Supper of 刀削面,egg and warm milk was great! Special commendation to 郭六女 for good service. Parking convenient.

Hotel very comfortable to sleep, but still far if want go to ancient city by walking.. Luckily use didi taxi to ancient city around 8 cny. Go to grottoes around 28 cny

Spacious room, clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were more than adequate with a choice of varieties. Hotel location was ok just outside the wall though neighbouring shops were all shuttered. Taxis plentiful and inexpensive. Nightly dinner was at the hotel restaurant - good food, surprisingly very affordable prices and extremely good services from the staff. What stood out most were the very helpful, cheerful staff, at the front desk, restaurants, and cleaners!

The reception check in staff did not explain why there was 6% surcharge by credit card payment, until I saw it on the payment slip. First day of arrival into China and not a pleasant experience. About to raise this issue with trip.com

This is not a 5 star hotel. Although it's close to the old city wall, it's a 30 minute walk to the old city center. The cleaning lady woke us up despite the "do not disturb" sign (she knocked non-stop for 5 minutes!). We showed her the sign and she asked if we wanted some fruit. I was so mad! The reason I pay for the hotel, is to sleep! Also we found a lot of hairs on the floor, on the bed... It's not clean. The gym and pool are gloomy, the lights turned off. The lobby staff are excellent and helpful, but we won't stay here again.

The hotel is dated but the service and amenities make it five stars. Pool is pretty sad though. Probably the best location in Datong.

The staff were friendly and helpful but the room was old and needed refurbishment. Breakfast was very good.

Staff were friendly and went the extra mile to make me comfortable. They were also able to arrange a private car last minute to take me to Xunkong Temple and the Yungang Grottoes. Love the VR headset and tea in the room!
