Dalian Beach Hotels

To be honest, I expected a lot for this hotel. Well too much expectation. 我想太多了！ The room, when we first entered it was smelly like I don’t know…like an old room. Clean, yes. But the smell not so ok especially when we have a baby. The Electric plugs, OMG😱 PLEASE FIX IT !!! At first it was ok but then it stopped everywhere. We need to find which electric plug works so we can boil the water and charge our phones. And the last, the WIFI. Speechless on this one. I was thinking that I can do my work during stay at this hotel. But the connection sooooo poor !!!!! I had to use my personal hotspot from my phone to do my work using laptop. Well…I spoke to the receptionist but they said, well maybe because of a lot of people are using it. Well….it’s a big hotel, not a small apartment or even house. Anyways….next time I won’t take much higher expectations on this. Tks!

Very nice experience staying in his hotel but the only issue for now is that this is in a “newly” developed area and hence there is little options of local eateries within walking distance. Overall still recommended if you don’t mind taking a taxi, which is cheap in China.

We booked Fraser Suites as the earlier hotel we booked did not met our expectations. We were glad that we found Fraser Suites on trip.com as it did not disappoint. The executive 2 room that we booked was super spacious and the family loves it. The beds were comfortable. As the hotel was just beside a mall, line 2 subway, it was super convenient. There is also a 24 hour Lawson convenience shop. My little boy caught a fever on the third day. We approached the front desk in the morning and Ms Doris Gao helped us to order some medication and got it delivered to us in time. She was very helpful and also checked in with us on my little boy condition. We would also like to thank Aunty Amy Jiang who helped us kept the room clean and nice everyday. We appreciated her attentiveness very much. All in all, glad to have found Fraser Suites Dalian. We will book this hotel again when we visit Dalian next summer.

The Conrad is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The staff is incredibly helpful, the service was impeccable and the amenities were plenty and convenient to reach. It would be great for them to improve how they deliver food, perhaps use a trolley and tray.

We are to choose Bangyu Island Hotel for the convenience of going to the sea. First of all, the location is very good. The hotel is the entire scenic spot. It is our favorite garden style. Building 9 is six or seven hundred meters walk from the sea and has a boulevard. Every morning and evening, we have to take a walk in the park, and go to the beach to enjoy the rare cleanliness of Bangyu Island. The second hotel facilities are old, but this is not a problem for our family. The flaws are not concealed. It is good to have a smart toilet. The TV is a bit old and the light control is not easy to use. The third breakfast is OK, dinner is a fixed set meal, the Liao ginseng in the set meal is real, but the other general, the content of the set meal should change. I ate dinner once, and I drove out for dinner. There is no restaurant nearby, there is a convenience store at 8:30 in the morning and 6:30 in the evening, there are many people. Self-driving tour is suitable for this hotel. 🙅🏻 It is really inconvenient to drive. It is not far from the charm of the sea, but I did not go. It is not far from the tiger beach. From the south gate of the scenic spot, go along Binhai East Road and walk to the tiger beach. The scenery along the way is beautiful. In short, if you like quiet and garden style for self-driving tours, there are few good choices for swimming in the sea. If you don't drive and like modern facilities and net red hotels, don't come. There are too many people going to the beach during the day, and we all go to the sea at four o'clock in the afternoon.

The hotel is located in the north of Yinshatan Park, with a garden-style garden. Although the decoration is old, except for the carpet, the facilities are well maintained. But there is a musty smell in the room, but fortunately there is a balcony and the window can be opened. The swimming pool is very good, the water temperature is high, suitable for children. The service staff is friendly. The breakfast is average. If I have time to come to Dalian next time, I will still be happy to stay if the price is right.
