Dongdaegu Station Eastern Hotel Reviews

Easy to locate when arriving by KTX from Incheon Airport. The hotel is in an excellent location for taking the Express Bus to access sightseeing points outside the city, while also being convenient for exploring the city and shopping areas by Metro. Eastern Hotel meets tourist hotel standards; my room with two beds was huge, spacious, clean, and tidy. The air conditioning was just right for the cold weather. I was surprised to find a Samsung Digital Inverter Washing Machine, which allowed us to dry-clean our down and wool jackets after a whole day out in the countryside. Overall, the hotel is friendly for non-Korean-speaking tourists. Highly recommended.

Except for the small room (similar to Toyoko Inn in Japan), everything else is great. The air conditioning is very good, and there is a small balcony. Because the weather is dry and windy, if you wash your underwear, hang it on the balcony chair with a hanger, it will be dry the next morning. The counter staff can communicate in English. It is right that the room rate includes breakfast, because the restaurants in this area are almost open from afternoon to evening, and breakfast shops can only be eaten simply at CU, emart24, GS25 or 7-11 convenience stores. The breakfast restaurant on the 2nd floor provides hot and cold water, which is very convenient for people like us who only drink warm water and can be taken at any time. There is an open rooftop on the 11th floor with sunshade and chairs. You can go up there to sit and look at the street view or the sky on a good night. It's great! It's about 5-8 minutes walk from Dongdaegu Station. It's also convenient to take a bus to Daegu Station, West Daegu or other attractions in South Daegu. The room price is not high. It is a good choice for accommodation in Daegu.

It's a bit of a walk from Dongdaegu Station, but I'd like to visit again next time. The breakfast was really satisfying, and it was clean overall and the staff was friendly. I recommend sending a little more money and booking a room with a terrace! It's great value for money.

The hotel was clean and had free parking, which was great. Check-in took about 30 seconds after I presented my passport (prepaid). I'll use it again when I go to Daegu.

I was looking for a place with good transportation for a two-night stay, and the train and subway were so convenient, and the location and rooms were all satisfactory. The breakfast on Wednesday was a bit disappointing (kitchen staff was off), but it was good, and the breakfast on Thursday was simple, but both Korean and Western food were clean and delicious. I will recommend it to a friend who is traveling to Daegu next time.

It was conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from Dongdaegu Station. The room had been renovated, and was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was also very delicious. The only drawback was that the water pressure in the shower was low and it was difficult to adjust the temperature. There are many restaurants nearby, so I would recommend it to anyone using Dongdaegu Station as their base.

I stayed one night with my sister whom I haven't seen in a long time. It was nice to stay one night because Dongdaegu Station and Shinsegae Department Store are close by and there are many restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. The room wasn't that big but it was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast, which I didn't expect, was also very satisfying. There weren't many options but it was nice to have a light and simple meal. I'll definitely come back next time.

It was perfect for a one-day trip to Daegu with my daughter. The bathroom was large and the floor was wooden, so I was satisfied, but the amenities were a little disappointing. There weren't enough towels...
