Ocean Vida Beach and Dive Resort Reviews

We had a wonderful time at this place—I believe it’s the best spot in the area. It was my wife’s birthday, so we booked a beachfront seaside room. Everything was perfect, from the early check-in (before 2 p.m.) to the recommendations about the island and the exceptional service throughout our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The breakfast was excellent, especially by Philippine standards, with plenty of healthy options and fresh vegetables. The hotel also has its own bar, sun chairs, and a great atmosphere for relaxing.

The best resort in malapascua..room is clean and comfortavble. staff are very friendly. Our beach front bat is the most popular. All tourists must come and chill and watch the sunset

Basic accommodation for scuba divers. Comfortable room. No amenities. Good value for money.

Good location, good local staff. Poor tired western managers in the hotel and dive shop.

The reception at Ocean vida resort was exceptional. All of the employees are extremely helpful and quick to respond to our needs. The water pressure in the shower is a bit weak, and it’s still a bit salty, but that would be true for all places in Malapascua.

The food is yummy. The place is clean. The staffs are kind and helpful.

The hotel is newly renovated. It is just near to the beach and our dive shop is just 2 mins walk. Wifi is fast except that the connection is a bit weak in our room. Staff are helpful and nice except the younger receptionist.

Everything was good, staff very friendly, so clean the room. Except they’ll have you pay in USD, if you’re doing any Dives, bring cash. Terrible internet reception if you’re doing any work.

Excellent clearance, excellent attendance, excellent localisation, in other words, excellent hoyel. The hotel is in the first line of the beach, has an amazing breakfast and the staff is very nice. For divers, there is one good diving Center in the hotel. Don’t doubt in book this hotel, 100% recommended.

Everything was incredible, the director was lovely, the staff was attentive, the food was very good, the beach area was a dream... wonderful.

The room was ok, but the restaurant was about 30%-50% more expensive than the Little Mermaid next door. When I arrived on the first day, they added several dishes that I didn't order to my bill. When I checked out later and said there was a problem, they said I had already signed and it wouldn't be refunded. I don't recommend eating at this restaurant.

The hotel is in a very convenient location and the service is good. The hotel has a generator, which is very important. The bath water is salty, there is no way, the island is relatively primitive and there is no fresh water purification plant. The food in the hotel is also OK, and it is more convenient to pay directly.
