The accommodations were perfect. It really is a boutique hotel and you feel it from the helpful and friendly staff at the front desk, to breakfast service (Carmen I think) and person who cleans the rooms (Roberto I think). The free breakfast is worth mentioning too because it has everything you would want (at least for me) from fruit, coffee, eggs, cheese , bread and eggs. Because it’s Peru, everything is fresh. (Not your typical processed foods you get in the US as much as I love our country.) Lastly, the location is close to everything. This hotel really has it all. We will be back.

Adoramos nos hospedar na Casa Matara! Excelente localização, ambiente charmoso e aconchegante, camas confortáveis e largas, ducha maravilhosa! As funcionárias são muito atenciosas e queridas, parece que são mãe e filha. O café da manhã também é bem gostoso, mas é bom avisar as funcionárias um pouco antes quando você for tomar o café porque ele é servido na mesa e às vezes pode levar mais tempo do que quando você se serve.

Amazing Hotel! The staff are so friendly and helpful. They have the most amazing breakfast (fresh fruit, eggs, bread and jam, cheese and ham, yoghurt and granola). The beds were the most comfortable of our trip and they stored our bags while we went on the Inca Trail. Great location near the main plaza. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Pontos positivos: - bem localizado - todos os atendentes são bem atenciosos, tivemos um problema na descarga e rapidamente arrumaram - café da manhã preparado na hora e muito saboroso - box de café da manhã bem completo (para levar aos passeios que começam de madrugada) - cama grande e confortável - tem chás disponíveis em diversos andares - muito bem organizada e limpa Ponto negativo: - box do banheiro não é totalmente fechado, portanto, após o banho o banheiro fica bastante molhado. Fica minha sugestão de que os boxes possam ser fechados completamente para evitar do hospede ter que ficar secando após o banho. Carmen e equipe, muito obrigada pelo atendimento e acolhimento, recomendo!!!

10/10! Todos os funcionários foram extraordinários, simpáticos, solícitos. Nos preparam o lanchinho para os passeios cedo com todo carinho. O lugar é acolhedor e as dependências do hotel são novas, tudo limpinho e ainda tem chás 24h disponíveis em cada andar. Recomendo DEMAIS. Além disso, adaptaram o café manhã para nós que somos veganos.

Nostra base operativa a Cusco per diversi giorni, Casa Matara è un posto davvero carino. Vicinissimo al centro storico di Cusco, Casa Matara offre un ottimo punto di appoggio per visitare la città e tutto quello che offre intorno. Noi siamo arrivati molto presto la mattina e ci hanno permesso di riposarci nella hall, e anche di fare colazione prima di darci la nostra stanza. La stanza è molto carina, e anche il bagno è spazioso e perfetto in tutto. La colazione anche è molto buona. Il personale è stato tutto gentile, ci sono anche venuti incontro per mia moglie, celiaca, preparandole la colazione apposta per lei.

A sweet homey place where the staff are warm, friendly, and super-helpful. The rooms are simple and clean, the breakfast is very good and freshly prepared. It is easy and close to walk to many shops and restaurants. Will return when I come back to Peru!

Goed hotel in het oude centrum. Heerlijk bed. Wij hadden het extra grote bed. Alleen het kussen is te hard. Douche heerlijk, duurt wel 5 minuten voor t warm is. Kamer is lekker warm. Alle andere hotels waar we sliepen was t ijskoud. Ontbijt is goed met fruit yoghurt ei broodjes etc. Superlieve mensen. We mochten onze bagage in de kamer laten staan, we gingen naar machu pichu, zij brachten het naar de opslag. Echte aanrader

Viajamos em casal, ficamos 10 dias hospedados. Fomos muito bem recepcionados, todos muito simpáticos e prestativos. Acomodações limpas e aconchegantes. Café da manhã maravilhoso. Nos dias em que saímos cedo para os passeios recebíamos um kit com lanche, o que ajudou muito, além de mostrar preocupação com seus clientes. Localização excelente, próximo a Plaza de Armas e ao comércio de Cusco. Com certeza retornaríamos novamente na Casa Matara!
