The rooms and hotel were very clean although it was varied as if our bins/ashtray were emptied and the outside table wiped down on your balcony. We ran out of toilet paper on the second to last day and our towels were not changed on 2 occasions even though we left them on the floor in the outer bathroom as we had been told. They were just picked up and put into the bathroom but all the other days we left them there, they were changed and put on the shelf. There was only 1 visible plug socket in the room (assuming that more were behind the fridge cabinet and sofa) so it was a good job I brought a double socket otherwise we would have to move the furniture. The hairdryer was adequate for the room as your hair dried with the heat but would take ages if the weather was colder. The reviews on the food were somewhat accurate. It was hit and miss on standard but for all inclusive it was what you would expect and most was edible (the occasional tough piece of meat). Toilets on the ground floor are limited with one in reception and one as you exit to the back, nothing round the pool or in the bar area. Staff were very friendly with the exception of the older male life guard. I have a bad back and asked if I could take a chair to the pool area as the loungers were too low and was told yes not a problem but every day he was on and tried to take the chair. I explained to him why I needed it but he did not speak English and just got angry and shouted before walking away. Then I got bad looks from him for the rest of the day but he was only working 2/3 days in my 7 day trip. Night entertainment was OK, depending on what you like but the team were very good at trying to get people involved and it was varied. Locally, there is not much around the hotel with a building site to one side and derelict housing to the other with what I can only describe as homeless people living there. There are bus stops at the back of the hotel (out the front, turn right then right again to the main road) that will take you to shops, bars and night life if that is what you are looking for at a range of 1.4 - 4 Euros for travel on the bus or a taxi is only 4 Euros to Costa Teguise for local shops, beach and bars. The shop on site is expensive compared to the local town. There are a few shops when you turn right out of the hotel about a 10 minute walk. There is also a shopping mall called The Open Mall about 15 mins on the bus (from the same side as the hotel) which is the stop past IKEA that is nice to walk around (2 Euros on the bus). There is no smoking in the hotel except on your balcony, the pool bar or out the front by the bird cages, although a lot of people did smoke around the pool. The nearest beach is a 17-20 walk, turn right out of the hotel and turn right at the Restaurant Mason, left at Sportium then a quick right onto Plya Bastian path down to the beach. It would be nice if there was a back entrance to the hotel where the bus stops are so you did not have to

Well, where do I start? From the time of arrival on the 19th December to departure on the 29th as a family, we had an absolutely wonderful time. In no small thanks to the staff too. We decided for a change to go away for the Christmas period as we’d never done this before. We went self catering and were expecting an apartment, but on our arrival at reception, were allocated a bungalow (No.1024) to the left of the complex. Maybe I made a slight error when I made the booking, but what a surprise!! The reception staff were all approachable and helpful to us if needed. If needed, they’d call a taxi for you if you requested. The complex is slightly out of the way but not that far from the action. I’d say around a 10-15 minute walk maximum. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice and cozy the bungalow was. All the basics were there- a fridge, 2 hob cooker, utensils, kettle, crockery etc. I could be wrong, but it looked recently refurbished. (Uploaded pics will show what we saw once inside). There was a large tv on the wall which shows the 5 UK channels (why would you want to watch tv on holiday anyway?). There was also a large pull out sofa bed too. There was a large wooden fruit bowl with discount coupons for local store chain Fund-Grube, as well as maps, excursion leaflets and local attractions. The bathroom was lovely and clean, with a good, powerful shower that had both a larger head and a smaller one. Even had shower gel and soap in dispensers on the wall, as well as complimentary soaps. Like most if not all apartments etc on holiday, exercise caution on exiting the shower as it quite slippery when wet. To get towels changed, you pile them up under the Bathroom sink for the maids, where they’d be replaced in plentiful supply We had this done every couple of days. Maids were lovely and polite. Couldn’t fault them one bit. The only day we didn’t see them was Christmas Day. However, I think the only downside was not having enough loo roll sometimes. But this is a minor niggle. It’s not the end of the world. You just go to reception and ask- it’s not hard is it? Please note there is a do not disturb sign that you hook on the door, also on the reverse side if memory serves correctly, asks maids to clean room. The two bedrooms were bright, clean and reasonably spacious, with a safe which you pay for at reception (just like everywhere else) which worked out at around €30for the duration of our stay. Beds and pillows were lovely and comfortable. On par near enough with the ones we had in NYC. Hangers and drawers in room. At the side of the bed on the wall is a small adjustable reading light, as well as a brighter lamp. Take your pick. Outside on the patio is a foldable clothes horse fitted to the wall. Sun loungers and a table, chairs (and ashtray) are supplied. It was also so pleasurable feeding the lovely little Collared Doves that reside on the site too. Sleep quality was excellent- even though there were lots of families with y

We stayed here for 5 nights at the end of June 2024. Myself, my husband, our 2 daughters (4 and 6 months) and my parents stayed at this hotel. We had rooms next to each other with joining rooms which was perfect when you have young children and often need an extra pair of hands. We had a small kitchenette in our room which was great when you have a small baby that needs bottles washed and sterilised. The rooms were clean, spacious and bright. The evening entertainment was incredible, my 4 year old would stay up to 11pm most nights dancing away having the best time. The food was ok, some meal times were better than others, perhaps we are just fussier than the average person. We loved the breakfast every morning with fresh pancakes, churros and eggs. We would have food at lunchtime from the pool bar, and then dinner in the main restaurant in the evenings. I would recommend bringing a refillable water bottle for your children, and perhaps small travel squeezy juice/squash as i found there was no choice of soft drinks for my 4 year old during the day apart from fizzy or a mocktail. So we would put squash in her bottle and refill it at the bar from the water dispenser. Staff are so lovely, special mention to Vicky in the bar! We have rebooked again for this July for a week and cannot wait.

We have just returned from our 6th visit to the hotel it is just as nice as first time very clean and tidy , this time we spent Christmas 🤶 and New Year The Christmas Eve meal was delicious also the the waiters and waitresses looked very smart in their Black and white outfits . Pity that some of the so called gentleman guests didn’t make an effort well done the LADIES!!! The New Years meal we were not overly impressed with and the seating arrangements spoke to Rebekah and Francisco about it at the returning guests meeting so we decided not to eat in that night Generally the food is fine always found something to eat we found the lunch time meal was better than the evening meal. The staff were wonderful Natalia telling us some nice places to see Louis always smiling and helpful. Magda with always with a welcoming smile 😊 all the 3 members of staff were very pleasant to see and talk to also Lolly looking after everyone and not to forget the wonderful Mercedes who cleaned our room to a very high standard and the wonderful Noella at the pool bar who served my wife with her Brandy Coffee in the morning. When we left the hotel was taken over by some new owners so I hope they keep all the nice staff on including you Laura..: one member of the bar staff could learn some customer service skills Maybe watch Rafael the bar manager We are looking forward to seeing you all again in November or May 2026 Colin & Sue 😃😎

Where do I even start with this hotel. For the life of me I can't understand why it seems to be the majority of people are raving positively about it. I was there in March and only just now getting round to writing a review. To expect people to stay and pay good money to this dreadful place is an insult to people's intelligence. We checked in and went to our room the furniture was extremely dated. The kitchen was basically falling apart and there was rust everywhere. It was disgusting. The bedroom door would not close properly as it was sticking on the floor. The curtains where falling off the living room window. We complained and had to fight to be moved. We where moved the next day and this room was no better. Doors water damaged, curtains trailing on the floor. Brown spots on the yellow curtains in the bedroom looked suspiciously blood stains. The backs of the curtains where covered on black mold. This was right beside the bed. At night we where very cold as there was only a sheet over our beds. We had to use our towels over the sheets to stay warm. There was double duvets but this was unsuitable and to heavy for single beds. At night time there was a constant banging noise, sounded like a door on the roof area. This was every night. Again the kitchen poorly maintained and very little utensils. The plug in the kitchen was also very lose. The furniture was fit for a bomb fire. Very worn and marked. We did complain but go where. Also complained to Jet2 but unfortunately everywhere was booked up. The hotel manager lady and the staff where extremely rude and just didn't want to know. The whole lack of people skills was disgustingly embarrassing for this ”hotel” It was absolutely disgusting and is no way to treat paying guests. The area around the pool was very unkept. Hopefully since my stay they have discovered what a paint brush is. Paint work of walls etc was flaking off. The pool area was not clean. I only seen them once out cleaning the area down properly with power hoses. The pool itself had algae growing around the ledges into the water. It made be gringe that parents where letting their children swim in it. The paddling pool was not very clean looking. The bottom of it looked like it was all stained by algae. I watched a cleaner use a mop and bucket to clean the tiles around the pool area. He never changed the water and dumped the dirty water into a drain beside the paddling pool. Leaving dirty water around it. Regarding the pool area it was a free for all regarding the sun Lodgers. People where expected to lift off heavy sun longers themselves. Regarding the accommodation blocks these should be condemned. The window frames don't fit the walls properly. Allowing wind etc to blow through. They don't look safe and in no way meet EU regulations. Never in my life have I stayed in such a dreadful place we just wanted to go home. I have stayed in much better hostels in my student days. Do not stay in this place. It is such a shame as it is so
