Everything was nearly perfect. The location is in the very heart of historic center, the staff is friendly and helpful,the room was spacious and comfortable. The building is charming. It faces a lively square but it's kind of sound proof. Highly recommended!

Twee volwassenen 45+ voor 2 nachten cordoba. Prima loopafstand vanaf station en naar de bezienswaardigheden. Alles op loopafstand (wij zijn gewend om +10km per dag te lopen). Kamer en badkamer prima. We sliepen naast de lift, dat was ietsje minder, maar niet erg. De muren zijn erg dun dus gehorig bij douchen van buren. Bedden prima, lekker geslapen. Douche prima met douchegel etc. Wat fijn was: koffers konden we gratis achterlaten en nog een dagje cordoba in gaan. Wat misten we: een waterkoker voor bijv kopje thee of een koffie.

I was very disappointed by this hotel. On the positive side: It's right across from the Mezquita (which could be considered a negative in the high season, when it is very crowded). My room was really nice, with a very comfortable bed and a super-clean and modern bathroom. On the negative side: The decor in the common areas is weird, cheesy and gloomy. With the exception of one employee, the male desk clerk on Sunday, who was wonderful, the staff was cold and unfriendly. It seemed to me as if they had very low morale. I have never received such bad customer service at a tourist hotel. No one smiled, and only once was I greeted with even a ”buenos dias.” I felt sorry for some of them, but still, they could have treated us better. The internet did not work for me and some other clients on either my cell phone or my laptop during our two-night stay. No one even so much as apologized for this, and they never got it working while we were there. Some of the staff members did not believe me (treating me as if I were an ignoramus about these things) and tried to tell me that it was an issue with my devices, because it did work for some people, including the various people who staffed the reception desk. One of them argued with me about it at one point. I was neither demanding nor pushy -- I'm not that kind of person -- but the treatment we received was atrocious. The breakfast ******: curdled yogurt, low-quality bread, weird-tasting scrambled eggs, mediocre fruit, and disgusting coffee, and it was attended by the usual rude staffperson. It was an upsetting experience for me. All I can say is UGH.

Fabulous stay at La Ermita, which sits right in the Center of Cordoba historic center, but on a quiet square away from tourist noise and agitation. Rooms are all different and charming, all coming with a kitchen, beautifully decorated and showing some stone walls of the original building dating back to 1700. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly, providing support and directions to reach the hotel by car to drop your luggage. A public car park is available 2 minutes away. Wonderful experience I would warmly recommend.

We have no kind of complaint, the huge and clean room, as well as the bathroom that was spacious and very clean. To highlight the bed that was ORIGIN! The staff were very friendly and allowed us to keep our bags when we arrived before the time and when we left, because our train was going hours after leaving the hotel. Breakfast was a buffet type: various types of bread, cereals, sweets, tortilla, cheese, inputs ... And a coffee machine that was very rich. Of course very recommended!

TERRIFYING!!!! THEY SCAMMED ME October 2022 TERRIFIC!!!! THEY SCAMMED ME October 2022 The worst experience of my life. Do not go. I have been cheated. There are three hostels run by the same person, Mezquita Oscio and the one in the cafeteria. I made the reservation a month in advance for October 29, free cancellation on October 26. at the Oscio hostel for adults. I paid 80 euros for room with private bathroom, private double and wifi. I showed up at the cafeteria 1 hour before check-in because I had sent them a WhatsApp message a few days before and they didn't answer me. When I arrived there was no one at the reception and a man (apparently the boss) who was sitting there with two girls, checked his cell phone and told me that my reservation was canceled on October 5. That's where my odyssey began. They never explained to me correctly what happened, but they had already charged the 80 euros. The only option they gave me was a POCILGA room, with bunk beds without railings or stairs without a bathroom or Wi-Fi. The employees do not have any decision-making power and they called him by phone, but they informed me that they could not bother him because he was on his break. I asked for my money back, but it was flatly denied. They put the mattress on the floor, almost no suitcases fit, the shared bathroom was always dirty and the bathtub filled with water while you were showering. They are scammers, they keep your money, they don't answer your calls. They sold my room twice, overbooking and that is punishable if they don't repair the situation. I had to agree to spend the night in that pigsty or stay on the street. We are two 60-year-old adults, regardless of age, no one deserves to be scammed. DO NOT Reserve!!!!!
