Perfect location and newly renovated rooms. Stylish and very spacious room. Good shower and clean sheets. Janitors clean rooms every day and do a very good job. Very comfortable stay indeed. Breakfast is reasonable with good selections of fresh food. Would be great if staff speak more English and more English TV channels are provided. Only CGTN is available at the moment.

Hotel is very close to 81 food street and metro line 2 ling jiang men. Breakfast with limited choice. Very good services from the front desk and the cleaning lady. The only drawback is the air conditioning of the room where it doesn't work during spring season even the temperature is high outdoor.

Very good location for traveller for short term travel. Nearby hotel got many food stall and attractions. Easy to get a day trip if you want to travel to suburb. The hotel do provide breakfast every day. Thanks for the extension for our last day stay coz our flight is midnight. We have a wonderful time at Chongqing.

I will stay in moxy again. Clean and location is terrific. Staff are all helpful and friendly. 29th floor is a nice place to chill too.

Stayed at Moxy for a 2nd time and this time was after the new year crowd has left. Overall the hotel atmosphere felt more calm and front desk Cindy also upgraded our PLUS room to one with a landmark view with breakfast. Thanks Cindy and we will still choose Moxy again the next time we are back in Chongqing!

Located right in the heart of Haochi Street, the hotel is a haven for food lovers. The vibrant street food scene just outside the doorstep ensures you’re never far from a delicious snack or meal, no matter the time of day. The hotel itself is modern and fun, with a trendy vibe that makes it stand out. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-designed, perfect for relaxing after exploring the bustling streets. A special shoutout to Yann at the reception, who truly made our stay memorable. Yann went above and beyond with her warm hospitality, offering excellent recommendations for exploring the city and ensuring we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. Her friendly demeanor and local insights were invaluable.

Location is excellent. All the Counter staff such as Chloe is friendly and helpful. Hotel room is roomy and clean too. The cleaning lady looking after our room is friendly and helpful too. The free washing machine and dryer is really an additional benefit. Maybe can introduce a reminder alert service to remind guests their completed laundry so others can use. Strongly recommend this hotel

Nothing to complain. Best location with all eateries just at downstairs, attractions are all within walking distance. Easily buy foods or drinks even at 12 midnite. Room is clean and comfortable. Will definitely go for Moxy again

Good location. Nice hotel with industrial style Located in the Jiefangbei heart of Chongqing, this hotel has a very perfect location. The address itself is at Ba Yi road. The road in A-Z food variant. This is a pedestrian street with no vehicle pass through, except grab food motorcycles. It is a very crowded street. The night later it gets the more crowded it gets. But fortunately the hotel has a good soundproof quality, so we can still rest quietly.  Thanks to Christ Xiao, the Front office supervisor (I think), who made our check-in process smooth. Your English speaking ability is very assisting us. We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel room is spacious enough, but lacks of wardrobe. Breakfast is very moderate. Not many meal options. But the Breakfast room is on the 29th floor, which becomes a bar at night with 360 degree slow moving so we can enjoy the Chongqing city view from top. Very nice service. The hotel is near the metro station, with a 5 minutes walk. There is a free laundry service that is very helpful for long tourists like us. Overall, it is a very pleasant hotel for our China trip in Chongqing.

First of all, the location of the hotel is TERRIFIC!!! You step out the door and it is the streetfood street. Very convenient when you wish to grab a quick snack. You could find us there every night. So location good for foodies. But the location is the only thing that I would recommend about this hotel. The view from the hotelroom is nothing special, except if you choose the landmark room, which still only give you view to the landmark, so in my opinion it’s just an okay view. Except if you room is higher up, then the view will be about better. Otherwise you will look at the landmark and against buildings. There is a spinning restaurant, which we have enjoyed for a night when receiving the free cocktail, but the view is pretty. View photo included in review is the view from the spinning restaurant at the top floor It is a young hotel. Not only referring to that it is new, but also the employees working there. Young personnel and do sometimes notice the lack of experience. During check out it is a mad house. Everyone standing (not in line) in front of the front desk to check out. I was trying to stand in line to ask a question and an auntie went in front of me. I told her there was a line and she said she only had to check out and the hotel employee at the desk allowed, however, auntie did not only need to check out, but had a question about her points and took longer because she needed to look up her points…. A tip for the hotel is to work on how to organize the check out, since I do expect more from a 4 star hotel… Some other things I noticed about the hotel: - Keycard does not always work very well in elevator. Saw more guest struggling so it was not only our cards. - Glass door to bathroom which can make quite awkward! We are a couple so it was okay for us, but it was really quite transparent! It was still kind of awkward seeing your partner pooping while you were brushing your teeth, because the sink was right in front of the door…. I imagine this would be really awkward for friends, relatives or someone travelling with older kids. Also there is a gap between door and ceiling so smell easily go out of bathroom…. - Sound insulation from outside not good. We were first put on 14th floor (for those superstitious, yes they use 14 because it is an international hotel. For me that was not a problem) we could hear the sounds from outside because we were half facing the streetfood street. At night could be a bit annoying when staying in the room te relax. Later on we were put on the 26th floor and we could not here it anymore. We informed our hotel that it was our honeymoon and because we were there on Halloween, they provided a basket with masks and dress up things, which I imagine it was because of Halloween. However, as a newlywed that informed you that was on honeymoon, the basket with black lace dress up products, gave quite weird message 😂 black lace eye mask with back lace folding fan. Overall, really loved the location and it was indeed very clean. The shared washing machines also was not smelly since it was new. They also have a robot bringing the food. But for the same price, I might opt for something else in the neighbourhood with better view and bigger rooms. There are A LOT of hotels in the vicinity.

The hotel exceeded our expectations greatly. We were very impressed by the cleanness of the rooms. The friendly service provided by the Moxy team, especially Chloe who made us feel very welcomed with her friendly attitude. The restaurant/bar has a rotating platform offering a great view of the surroundings. We will definitely highly recommend others to stay in this fabulous location.

Hotel in Walking Street. Easy access to eat and shopping. Room size is not so big. The room has a more distinctive design.
