The location is good. It is located at the transfer station of Metro Line 1 and Line 2. There is a bus line downstairs, which makes travel very convenient. The environment is clean and sanitary. There is a refrigerator and a washing machine, which are very practical. The supplies are also very complete. Next time I come, I don’t need to bring my own bath towels. The service staff are all very helpful, polite and friendly. The cleaning staff were also excellent during my stay and they came and cleaned the room and gave me new water every day. The hotel is in a pretty convenient location, within walking distance of two different subway lines and with lots of shops and food right at your door. For anyone who is looking for a budget option with easy access to the city centre, this is a great choice. My only issue was with the cleanliness of the room when I came in. First of all, there was a very strong smell in the bathroom throughout my stay (the cleaning staff cleaned it many times, it's not their fault, I guess it's a plumbing issue). One of my two pillows had a very strong smell too. It smelled of sweat and smoke and I really felt like maybe it hadn't been changed since the previous occupant. Maybe it was just that the pillowcase had taken on this smell even though it had been washed (I'm very sensitive to smell) but I really felt like the second pillowcase hadn't been changed. It didn't matter that much, I just used the other pillow instead (I don't need two) but if there had been two of us I'd have asked for a fresh pillowcase. The biggest issue aside from the smell was the fact that even though there were four elevators, so many people in this building (it's a mix of hotels and other businesses) were using them that during very busy times, I had to wait forever to catch a lift up or down which was a bit annoying. Overall I think it's a decent budget option if you want to save money.

It was my first time to Chongqing and I stayed at Honglou Hotel. It was newly renovated and the environment and facilities were very good. The room was arranged on the 2nd floor, 12, which was moderately far from the elevator, quiet and convenient. The room was very clean and hygienic, the bed was large, equipped with four pillows, a recliner, a TV, etc. The toiletries were complete and easy to use. I checked in at around 2 a.m. on March 28. The front desk guy seemed to be Lu Hang, who arranged it properly. He also called to tell us that Chongqing noodles would be given to us in the morning. The hotel has its own area, the gate guard security work is proper, takeaways are not allowed in, and someone will deliver them to the room, which is very safe and secure. I have been staying here for several days, the room is cleaned every day, and the supplies are replenished in time, which is very considerate. The hotel's breakfast is also delicious, Honglou noodles~ It happened to be my husband's birthday these days. The cake was delivered in advance at noon on the 30th. In the evening, we were still at the Eason Chan concert and had to return to the hotel late. The hotel's brothers and sisters helped to keep it well and ensure that the ice cream did not melt.
